You would want to think twice before booking solely for the sales service. Im dreading to see what will happen in after sales. The tata guys ahve shifted delivery dates by 4 weeks at the last moment. Moreover, their dealer and the sales team is being evasive in answering my questions. Till day before yestrday my car was in transit and today I've been told that the car is still being manufactured and will take more time as they are overbooked.
I've already booked and paid for the car. The good thing to note is that the consumer court gives compensation for situations like this.
Would recommend all those currently suffering from this issue to also file complaints with their respective consumer courts. You don't need to hire a lawyer for this and can represent yourself. All one needs to show is deficiency of service, which is established by the change in the estimated date of delivery without being given just compensation.
Usually each person can receive atleast their monthly EMI amount/ interest chargeable for the month.
