 I am writing this review after 10 months use. On highways I got milage with AC around 18 and in city 15 with AC (Consider Pune city traffic ), If I took average, its 16.5 and I m happy with it.

Ride Quality & Handling

 suspension is too good. But it gives bit low pick in 2nd gear.

 Good car with loaded features in nice price. before to buy I heard many -ve things about TATA. Specially service and all. But I didn't feel anything wrong in last 10 months. If your budget is between 6 to 7, this is best choise. It performs like high end Car. No one gives you ABS, EBD and such a premium look with performance in this price. Go for it.

Comfort, value for moneypickup

Exterior Beautiful car with lots of kick in it. Didn't found it like a Tata product initially,must say Tata motors did a lovely job. It looks masculine, have better ground clearance.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome is the word which justify the interiors. Music System, Steering Controls, Bluetooth system for audio streaming and phone, sporty steering, each detail was looked into and brought to its best by Tata Motors.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performace is good though in first gear you will feel the heavy weight of the car which is restricting its pick-up at slower speeds but once you rev it up it cruises like a completer luxury sedan.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is the area where it scores very high as compared to Amaze and Xcent, I took drive of every competition car but I must say Tata Zest scores very high here.

Final Words Lovely product from Tata Motors which will bring back the fortunes to this group in Indian passenger car segment.

Areas of improvement Though not have any area to mention as of now but After sale service is the area where I would like to see as to how they perform in future.

I am not going to discuss specifically as i felt after two years above driving my car, its a very good and comfortable car with a comfortable price.only need to check in fuel consumption, is little more per KM than they said. however overall is a nice car.Good style, comfortable in all aspect.Nothing to say except to check the fuel consumption /km.

Me and my father wanted a good looking family car with all basic nessecities. We researched a lot and after taking test drive of dzire, xcent, amaze, aspire and zest , we ended up selecting zest and believe me it was the best decision ever! The car is awesome! we have driven about 6000 kms mostly in delhi city. In city we are getting a mileage of around 14 kmpl. driven mostly on city mode. power delivery of this car is very good and lenient. Overtaking on highways will require little gear work and there you go. Car is really spacious and comfortable for long journeys! AC is very powerful and never dissapoints you. Car is heavier than other competetives thus is more stable on high speeds. 150 kmph on this car is easily achieveale and i guess it can go max upto 165 kmph. Thats enough for a family sedan. Central console is the best in the segment which is devoloped by HARMAN. MUsic quality is far better than other cars. We are enjoying our car in very best manner you can say! Consider zest for your next buy. It won't dissapoint you!Almost every thing is as good as u need! Style, economy, VFM, performance.Some plastic parts feel a little cheap! But very few!

Buying experience is good , showroom staffs are very friendly and they only arranged for pooja of my new car , Ride quality is just Amazing u will be sleeping like baby at rear seat as this car isolates from any bad road or noise outside love the space inside car ,mine is sky grey with DRL looks awesome , people started at car and some people will ask about car in signals/ parked by.. Mileage is 13 to 14 in city without AC in city mode.on highways 17to18 in city mode ,but in Eco mode it is truly a superb mileage of 20 to 21 kmpl with speeds of 80kmph,only cons is about I'll plastic fittings in floor panels . Worst service centers really some of worst dealers ruining such popular VFM products brand TATA ,pls buy Tata products if & only dealers are good otherwise don't go .....My dealers VIN AUTO in tumkur Karnataka is worst worst worst....

Exterior Frontal looks robust, rear is most beautyful, high class paint finish.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Smooth and responsive in City mode, flys out in sports mode and delivers 22-25 KMPL in eco mode at 70 KMph speed (Petrol Revotran)

Ride Quality & Handling Supple and planted ride, confident cornering and good breaking 

Final Words I was driving a Nano since last 5 years and am very fond of its space, drivability and economy, therefore was little suspecious of Zest's mileage as it weighs almost double of the Nano. With sale offers, I bought Zest RT XT for Rs. 7.0 lacs; almost Rs. 1.0 lakh cheaper than any other 1200 cc car. With its excellent fuel economy I'm enjoying great rides for long distances with my family and had clocked 22000 KMs in 13 months with an average economy of Rs. 3.25/KM, almost equal to any diesel car.

Areas of improvement

1. Dashboard rattle along poor/WBM roads.

2. Accelerator paddle placing.

3. Projector HL adjustment.

Built, Finish, Ergonomics, Comfort, EconomyClunky door handle, ill focussed HL, high placed accelerator paddle.

Zest is a great car, exterior styling is great. The performance of zest is zesty, with its 1.2 l petrol engine 90ps & 140nm torque it only in its class. Mileage was a bit lower because of its high cc engine with 4 cylinders but car was best. Tata is great as it provides more features in less cost with good quality material and plastic quality.

NANA

Pros:- good looks, driving comfort, good interiors. Cons:- fuel economy is pathetic. In chennai city the average is 9.5km per litre (petrol version) in economy mode. Have driven the car for 2000 kms. I complained about the poor mileage during the first service. After the service I was told that everything has been checked and there is no reason to worry about. But the poor mileage experience continues.

Exterior Good looking car, but body is all plastic.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good. they are quite comfortable.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very very poor.

Ride Quality & Handling Its good but after some time the vehicle starts making noise.

Final Words Please don't buy this car, it will burn a hole in your pocket. there is no fuel efficiency. please buy maruti cars or ford. my friend has the maruti suzuki dezire diesel version which gives 22km/l easily in city. Tata can only make heavy machinery but when it comes to using modern technology and looks, they fail miserably. I have lost good amount of money on it. so wise decision would be to buy a fuel effiecient car and if you can deal with your life without a car better buy a bike. atleast you will save some money.

Areas of improvement No fuel economy. Body is very delicate. Just like fibre. no good dealing by the workshops or agencies after you have purchased the vehicle. Tata should definitely stop fooling people. It is our own Indian company which we trusted so much and has only disappointed  us.
