Whatever, I;m going to type is my personal review so do not compare it with your own review. It's about your decision whether you are going to buy it or not.
Any how. This is my first car. Before purchasing it I went to take Test Drives for Maruti Suzuki Dzire & Honda Amaze. My relatives & friends suggested me not to go for "TATA" car. But, the first thing that stroked in my mind was it's external & internal looks. In this segment & price I'll rate the exteriors 4 stars out of 4. However, in interiors 5 stars out of 5. I visited "Concorde Motors - South Extension, New Delhi". The time I saw the interiors, I made sure that in this price it's awesome. Right after the test ride, I find it a good deal. & "ET.Voila", I booked it the next day.
I had the max budget of 7 lacs & I find this car a good deal after doing researches. TATA has changed after introducing "New NANO, Bolt & Zest ", so the people who think that TATA can not deliver a good passenger/private car, then they are wrong.

In short, this is a good car, if you are planning to purchase. There are minor improvement are needed, however , in this budget it's really amazing.
I have only one concern if anybody can help me with. It's my first car & it's 20 days old now. As per it's display, it shows that my car's average is 9.7 kmpl for now. Which makes me little bit worried. I just want to know that will it improve after first servicing as I rode 500 kms till now or I have to get it fixed from service center.
Please help! zest holders or any one who knows the answer.

Went on a long drive to Goa recently 😝 with me Zest XMS petrol..thot i'd share some reviews...
Exterior Brilliant looks, just LOVE the Projector lamps..life saving..good looks even from the back..has a good ground clearance compared to other vehicles in the segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Soft-huge seats, very spaciuos at the back..powerfull AC.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerfull engine..especially the TURBO..gearbox was slightly noisey initially but is getting smoother with more usage..fuel economy is decent for city at around 13-16.
Ride Quality & Handling Good handling especially at tight corners, and also at high speeds. braking is good..just love the clutch..those that have driven the old Indica will know what I mean!!
Final Words Initially had a Indica XETA (Petrol) so the ZEST is definetly a much more refined and advanced car when compared.
Areas of improvement Will have to wait n watch with respect to the servicing provided by Tata. The first servicing was just a quick top up of all the liquids and cleaning of the car.

Exterior
The vehicle styling and dmiensions give the feel of SUV. You can easily identify your vehicle in the parking lot. It gives a bluffy look with the front grill and back style
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
THe ineterior compare to other brands is really catchy. Adjustable seat gives you a comfort of long drive without getting tired
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Running smooth, completed one year, only shifting in 2nd gear is bit uncomfortable
Dont see much effect between the CITY and ECO mode but the booster works for torque
Ride Quality & Handling
A very comfortable for long rides. I have driven almost for 12~16 hrs continuos. Its fun to drive with best quality harman music system

Areas of improvement
TATA really needs to work to have better service network/staff & infrastructure at dealers. Dealers like Miles Motors the only dealer they are least bothered about the service.

Exterior: Excellent in exterior in comparision with it's rivals. No other car gives fog lamps, ORVM lights and chrome finishing in the mid variant. Dull side is the guage of the material used. According to me the body should have been little more stronger.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Superb features such as driver info, steering mounted audio controls, bluetooth pairing, good space on rear seats that can accomodate 3 people easily.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Don't feel the power/punch of the 90 ps power. There is lag on engine. Clutch is not smooth enough after running 800 kms. Fuel economy is appreciable. Mechanical parts are not upto the mark. Plastic lid for containers under the hood are of poor quality.
Ride Quality & Handling: Punch of the 90ps power lacking. Not bad but of mediocre. Tata, you have to work out a little bit more.
Final Words: At it's best possible for the money spent.
Areas of improvement: Body guage should improve, quality of parts under the bonnet should improve, parcel tray on the rear should have little more room. Could have accomodated air bag in the mid-variant.

Exterior :- Front design of zest is much improved. Tail of vehicle looks awsome with LED tail lamps. Excellent ground clearance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Zest is fully loaded with important features such as projector head lamps and world class HARMAN music system. As a TATA vehicle you dont have to worry about a space. it has more than enough leg room boot space, excellent front and rear seats.

i have driven this vehicle 5000 km in a span of month and it is giving me average of 23 km/l highway and 21 km/l in city. It has a perfect heart with 1.3 ltr. quadrajet diesel engine

Most of my drive in zest is in rural area of maharashtra. believe me it has perfect suspension in built in car.
Final Words
Best sub 4 mtr. sedan to buy. TATA is back in action.

TATA just have to market themselves and need to change mind set of customer. ZEST is technically best car in this segment

Tata Product wise do not have any grivance but the way I have been treated with Tata Dealer Coincorder Motors Mohan cooperative New Delhi is very SAD. They ahve chetated me. They have taken more than 60K extra and taken my old card is just Rs 19000 while the time of booking commited for 45000/-. I trust them and given money in advance but I am very sorry to say DON"T trust them and never go to this SHOWROOM and don't go to even any Concorde Dealer network better to go with other dealer.
My old car ( Indiac Zeta Petol with CNG) was just 86000 Run and Tires with tubless. Single handed CAR.
Tata Zest is good CAR, Comfortable good Interoiur and Music system. Gear BOX is not too smooth while comparing with other make like Hundai.
On service don't have experince as its first service is due in coming 2 months.

If you have ever thought that a Tata motors car is unworth buying, the zest will proove you wrong. Awesome interior, exterior, features, infotainment sysyem and the best are the seats and the stereo. Tata motors gives awesome service. It has got driving modes and is turbocharged! Speed is awesome cause of that.
