We bought new Tata Tigor EV in April 2022 from Gokul Motors, Chrompet, Chennai, after too many questions and clarifications form the vendor. (TN11Y0076)The car was initially good and until done 10K Kms, no issues. Suddenly got in to mess while completing 15K mark, where the car batteries gone and car stopped middle of the road and Tata eventually had to replace battery after keeping over 10 days in the workshop. After big struggle the car was serviced as the service center don't have any troubleshooting or fixing capability of a EV problem. Every time when I do follow up, the workshop people mostly waiting for either (assembly)plant instruction or an Engineer to come down from Plant to fix the car. Again at 23000 Kms, had issues with charging, where the service center staff tried their level best and even after 1 week, they were unable to do the triage. Latest update I had from Tata services today (As I am typing this review 13Dec2022), workshop needs 3 more days to fix and still not know what was the actual problem with the car. Our hands on experience to share potential EV buyers, please do through analysis and beware that EV is a immature product, in which we are betting on. Thank you..!

Don't buy this Car. This vehicle has stopped all of a sudden on the road 3 times this year. Tata people only say calibration problem- they don't give any proper explanation. Their customer service is the worst

First month extra bolt stuck near the rear brake pads and caused an issue while applying breaks. In the sixth month the car center lock system was not working, can't lock the car and it was there in the showroom for 1 week. After one year of AC compressor issue, they replaced it. Now battery pack issue and it has been there in the showroom for nearly a month. Don't know when it come back from the showroom. Tata Motors released this car to do R&D on passengers.

Dont buy Tata cars, horrible vehicles with very poor after-sales service, I bought a Tata Tigor EV in October 2022, car has had so many issues from 1 first day, the biggest problem is it is not charging on public chargers, only home charging is going on, for every service no one solves the problem till date ( 2 years) it's still not working on a public fast charger, servicing Centers are like dumping cars storage, any issue they at least keep your car for 15 days, car has door noise from all 4 doors, poor quality material used in car, when the car is running so many noises come from doors and dashboards, after 21 thousand kilometer battery of the car is not working properly, its suddenly stop working, vehicle is in service center since last 15 days no any outcome till date We Indian people think that should buy our Indian products but be honest don't be stupid to think that Tata cars are expensive and still do not give quality and after sells service

Firstly I am very proud to be an owner of Tata Tigor. Some were happy and some were disappointed. it's a good EV Car for a city due to limited mileage with traffic and not smooth driving. On long Drives With 75% battery usage, you get 145km to 160km without aggressive driving and no halting traffic. Outside charging is expensive, I have driven 22000km in less than 2 years but saved money when compared to diesel and petrol cars and I get the same comfort. I had driven all around south India with planned routes for charging stations in advance and never had a problem with the vehicle but in the city, I faced a problem with HV Alert Error thrice, Tata arranged to pick up my car and they took my car and rectified it. The Tata helpline does not have any solutions other than facilitating only taking your car to a service station and all responsibilities are on the dealer to service, the dealer is flooded with cars for service he has no time to test drive. I bought an extended warranty package. Which I took as additional protection for my car. End of the day to be honest it's value for money and instead of investing too much in an EV Car, of course, I don't want to be a complete critic but enjoyed every bit of my driving. We have to give time for Tata Company to take the feedback and find and fix solutions and the call centre responses have to be improved.
