Exterior Awesome design and onlookers would give you a stare for sure. Coup like rear gives you chills. When you park next to other hatchbacks and sedan you will feel pride.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very confortable, spacious, superb harman infotainment. Blutooth connect to phone, naviapp, remote app are really good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance is rock solid, gear changing is smooth.  Fuel economy is currently little less but need to wait till 1st service to find out the actual fuel economy.

Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth handling. I have driven on Bengaluru roads so ride quality and handling are most important. So far it has not disappointed. Very easy to handle. Stearing gives a good feedback.

Final Words Totally worth it. I am loving the car. If you are interested to go for a sedan then you should definitely worth a look. It has far better than maruti cars for sure.

Areas of improvement Hope mileage increases after service.

I am posting this review because I want to let the people know the real unbiased reviews about this car. I am driving this car from last two and a half month. My car is top petrol xz (o) version. So far I am impressed with everything. The car's handeling is very good. Stealing is very light in city traffic, clutch is very light and gear box is also light with small gear shifts, seats are comfortable and you can adjust driving seat according to your comfortable position. You can also adjust steering according to your comfortable position. As far as economy is concerned I am getting 14 km/l in city traffic with AC working all the time and I hope milage will be more after a couple of services. As far as looks are concerned Tata tigor is the best in the segment no one can compete with Tata tigor in looks. If I compare Tata tigor's body with other cars in the segment I must say Tata tigor has the best metal body. If you will lift the bonut of this car you will understand what kind ko metal it is. It is heavy metal used everywhere not like Maruti swift or other cars who light metal with plastic sheets . It is a feature loses car with ABS , EBD, Dual air bages , parking sensors and parking camera , superb infotainment system from Harman with 6 JBL speakers which is best in every class, keyless entry , fog lamps , walk home lights and tons of features . Tata tigor has the biggest boot among all the cars in this segment. It is a 3 cylinder car and you will never face any power lag when driving on power mode. To improve milage car has an Eco mode but at Eco mode you will find Power lag at some times. At last here comes the main part that is price , so Tata tigor's petrol top model will gonna cost you around 6.4 Lakhs which is worth. It's a value for money car. So guyz if you planning to buy a family car or your first car Tata tigor is the best option. I will highly recommend before purchasing and other car just try a test drive of Tata tigor and you will feel the difference and I am sure after test drive you will go for Tata tigor as I did.

Have driven 700kms so far, I'm really proud of being owner of this car. This car is definitely worth to buy and very good value for the money. A little vibration is there, but this can be negligible at this price point. The vehicle is solid, once you cross over 90 to 100kmph. The interior quality is awesome with fully features loaded. Pessanger feel very comfortable inside the cabin, cuz the seat position is perfectly placed with lot of cushion on it. My family never feel tired even I continuously driven for 4.5 hours at one stretch.

Exterior This car has great looks, The coupe-ish design is a refresh and differentiates the car from the crowd. The high mounted LED stop lamp looks awesome. The LED tail lamps give it a premium look. Overall, it is a great looking car.

Interiors Interior of the car is a great surprise from Tata. The quality of plastics has improved by bounds and leaps. The material feels solid and premium. However, Tata can improve the minor fit and finish issues, particularly on the glovebox.

Performance After driving around 7000 km, I can say that this car is a solid car. When you sit inside the car, it feels solid and inspires confidence. Engine modes are not gimmicks as I thought, they actually work well. There is a slight engine noise in the cabin, like Volkswagen Polo. But it is not deal breaker. The engine felt adequately powerful, city performance was great, great steering feel and feedback. Easy to maneuver in the city. On highways, you may feel a little lack in power, but nothing significant. It has a linear power delivery. It does the job really well.

Ride quality Just one word, marvelous. It feels really comfortable. The suspension is great and little potholes and speed breakers are filtered out quite well. The brakes are really nice. The corner stability control works as well, which is a welcome addition in this price bracket. The car feels stable even at higher speeds.

Comfort The seats are really nice, driver seat is very comfortable for long drives and can be adjusted 6-ways. Rear seats are stretched from edge to edge and can easily fit 3 adults. Headroom is adequate as well. The rear seats are well reclined for added comfort, feels like you're sitting on a sofa. The rear seat armrest is also provided with 2 cup holders.

Infotainment The infotainment system in the Tata Tigor is best in class (even better than cars from one segment above). It has a 5 inch LCD display which is just fine and does the job well. The real gem is Harman (JBL's parent company) powered audio system with 8 speakers. This system delivers great and immersive audio. You need to hear this to believe it. Tata also provides app suite to work with the infotainment system like navigation etc. It uses navimaps app which provides free offline turn by turn navigation. I must say it works great.

Mileage city-14-15kmpl, highways-22-24kmpl.

Overall It is a great car for the price and beats the competition hands down. GO for it.

Build quality, Looks, Interior, Audio systemNVH levels are a little high, nothing like deal breaker.

Exterior Brilliant in looks. Diamond cut alloys add the beauty, projector headlight which no one else is giving at this price.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Loaded with features like button unlocking of boot, Automatic temp control, Clean dashboard, Best in class music system, adjustable steering and seats.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine a bit noisy but we can relax about it, cus its not loud. Fuel economy yet to be judged but anywhere around 15 is above good.

Ride Quality & Handling ABS, adjustable steering makes the life easy, curise control work smoothly. A little more betterment on ABC accelerator, brakes, clutches would be appreciable as they seem to be a little clumsy.

Final Words Worth trying, tata has risen from the dust and to me they did a good job. New revetron engine, to me would change the perception.

Areas of improvement Should be an 1.4 engine. A car in a compact sedan segment should have more power.

Killer Looks, loaded with Features, Spacious, Servicing cost is pocket friendly.Front same as of Tiago, Engine should be a lil more refined.

Last month I have purchased Tata Tigor XT model and till time i have drive around 500km. Pros - My experience is, car is excellent, driving is good, handy, pick up is good, AC is powerful, seats are comfortable, boot space is good, interior is good equipped with all necessary things including ticket holder. Last but not least music system is excellent. In one word - value for money. Cons- XT model should provide least one air bags.

I own a Tigor Petrol XZ(O) and have competed 750 kms.

1. Buying Experience: 2/5 I purchased my Tigor from a newly opened concorde motor showroom on Ghodbunder Road. The sales team was ill informed about the documentation required to purchase the vehicle and also missed on the promised delivery date.

2. Riding experience: 4/5 The car is smooth to drive and has no power leg when on city mode. Only when you switch to eco mode, the car needs pushing. I have driven it mostly on city roads and it gives me a fuel economy of 14 KMPL. I expect it to increase over time. Also on highway the vehicle is quite grounded and induces confidence in the driver. Cruising at 100 KMPH is effortless. Braking is very good as well. Had to stop my car at short distance once and it didn't fail me.

3. Looks: 5/5 This is a very good looking car. Quite a head Turner.

4. Servicing and maintenance: N/A Since I haven't got it serviced yet.

5. Pros: Outstanding music system, smooth Steering, effortless driving, looks, etc Cons: sales experience (in my case) and fuel efficiency (may be I am over expecting).

Hello Guys,

After surfing through lot of reviews and videos, I finally decided to buy Tata Tigor XM Petrol and believe me guys its totally worth  every penny you spent on it.

I have completed around 638Kms now and have achieved mileage of 19.6Km on Highway and 16 on Mumbai City traffic conditions(With AC on always), there are many reviews complaining engine vibrations but with engine balancer shaft vibrations are negligible now. Suspension is way better than stiffer Swift suspension when its compared for comfort.

Exterior Cars looks really nice and absolute head turner, everyone keeps looking at my Pearlscent White Tigor and keep asking experience with it.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its specious and enough for family of 5 people(Adults), lots of storage spaces inside the cabin and Harman Music system just rocks! AC is bone chilling, sometimes we have to turn it off!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine noise is higher side but Cabin isulate it very well(Still lesser than VW Polo), Fuel ecomony is just awsome I am getting 19kmpl on highway(I dont rev it hard) and 16 in City.

Final Words Absolutley value for Money. A perfect family car, My family is very Happy with Our Tata Tigor.

Areas of improvement ABS and Airbags should be standard across all variants.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I bought Tigor XTA in janavary end 2018. This is Worst part in Tigor XTA (Petrol-Automatic). Very bad mileage I get only 12 KM/L.and what my showroom (Coimbatore TAFE access) suggested is sure 16KM/L. its a damn lie. Till now iam getting only 11 or 12. Very bad from tata. Even carwale shows 20KM/L. its not true.

Final Words If you are considering the milage part while buying. Then this car is bad option..TIGOR XTA (PETROL - AUTOMATIC).

Areas of improvement Need heavy improvement only in mileage part. Other than that its a good value for money. I bought Tigor XTA in 30th of janavary 2018. The only thing I worried about my car is mileage. It is giving just 12 or 11 KM/L. I can tolerate it. TAFEin Coimbatore assured 15 or 16 in mileage. But its very bad even carwale and car dekho gives 20 per litre. please change the things in mileage category int been month but im still getting 11 or 12.

Good in comfort and space and engine performance is good . my version is petrol automaticOnly thing is you wont get a proper mileage .i get only 12 KM/L for tigor XTA.this is very true..
