Exterior Exterior is very good, sporty and attractive. Nice colors available. Designed like a high end vehicle.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Full legroom for copassenger and for passengers sitting in rear seat. very comfortable. Instrument console is full of features like Distance to empty, Milage, Trip Meter and illumination control. Music system is very good. No need of additional speakers or woofers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very powerful engine, Milage 21 kmpl, Vibration in gear while driving.
Ride Quality & Handling Good grip over the roads of any type. I drove in plains, hills and even in bumper to bumper traffic of small cities. Very easy to handle. very soft Power Steering.. Braking is good.
Final Words A good car in budget. Tata should promote it with aggressive marketing. As other companies are doing.
Areas of improvement Music System problem, Often Hangs or becomes dead, Shoud be taken care of. Training of Service persons, Serice Center Environment should also be improved. Facility of Servicing in front of Customer should be provided.

Currently I am facing multiple functional problems in the car. The car is almost in unusable I am listing few problem below:
1. Driving seat door handle is broken ( very low Quality).
2. Unable to close the back door.
3. All A/C adjustment handles have detached from the A/C blowers and this is the 3rd time I am facing this issue.
4. Wheel cups are not strong enough.
5.Services people's are tilling its manufacturing defects,They will not handle this case.
6. One of the waste car. Worst costumer care service. Services centres are not interested for rectifying the manufacture deficits they need only money not costumer.

PETROL XZ (1.2L, 3-cylinders)
1. 18800kms, in ~1year(6 more days to go).
2. All 3 free (labor) service done. The 3rd one paid(Rs ~3k), with no parts replacements. (oil change, AC filter cleaning).
a. The price can still be less if driving skills are decent.
b. Beware of the service person recommendation for the service packages. As they push hard to take one.
3. Mileage in city – with AC on 1st point.
a. 16-17km, in cuty limits(Bangalore).
b. ~21km if driven between 80kmpm-100kmph.
c. ~25.x if driven between 50km-60kms consistently!
4. Seems to be stable, at 100kmph.
5. Max speed hit 130kmph, later on it lags to pick the speed, but that’s not an issue at all for me as don’t need beyond 110km on highways.
6. #8 Harman speakers, you can control every two of them. (left pair, right pair, front pair, rear pair) Music system is crystal clear.
The service dept has also improved drasticlly to catch the white board customers. very happy with the decision of being owner of TaTa Tiago.

I was drive about 5000 km in 3-4 month. Overall performance very good. But I was fill slightly engine noise when I run about 80 -100 km. But nice car & also reali it's good budget car. It 1200 cc other segment car it's not get with in 5-6 lakhas. It's pick up also very good when AC on position. Boots space also good.

Its been two years and I'm beginning to appreciate the build quality of the car more than anything else. Driven it mostly in Delhi traffic only but nothing much to crib about. Few plastic quality issues near AC vents becoming loose and more outside noise coming through the doors at high speeds (probably need to check the beadings and seals) but otherwise all is good.
Service quality is the only issue at the moment. I've visited the service centers often including for one minor accident repair and I would say the authorised service center was not upto the mark. Rather I would say it was very poor. They take longer time than usual to address issues but when done, feel like it is a bit incomplete.
This is what Tata has to do foremost if they are looking to retain the brand value in the longer run. There has been improvements but I would say it isn't sufficient enough. I would say that the sales personnels should be screened and trained well enough to handle these jobs to the extent of building the cars by themselves. Only so can we see Tata as a biggest threat to all car companies in India & the World.

I only wish if we could have read some of reviews earlier. Sometime you don't need to burn your fingers to know the truth as we can gain from experience of others. Nevertheless, we purchased Tiago XZA, around three months back . Car had traveled around 1000 KMs and yesterday infotainment system stopped working all of sudden. Being a Hyundai owner ( Tiago AMT is our 2nd car ), it is hard to believe . Unfortunately, this is not the first quality issue . When we send the car for first servicing , the job done was pathetic. When i complained, the vehicle was re-collected but returned with some annoying noise in the cabin. I had to put a new complain. Car went back to service center. Thanks God, TATA motors managed to root cause and resolve. Honestly, we don't expect ideally to see so many issues with a new car. Wiper wash was not working from day one. Initially, we thought we don't know how to operate it in Tiago! I read the manual but nothing changed. Took car to a different service center and they found that pipe was defective and water drained out before it could be used . Amazing ! Let me share few more things about performance. AMT is less fun to drive. Switch from 1ST gear to 2nd is slow like a sloth. Engine noise (It is a petrol but not Kappa!) and vibrations are all there to let you know that you are driving a TATA car. Coming to customer care. The one with customercare@tatamotors.com exists only on paper. They don't even respond to your mail for days! The telephone numbers given are responded by executives only to sooth you with few words like "we are sorry for inconvenience "but no follow up actions. Inconvenience , TATA MOTORS does not really understand this word. So summary is - '' the so called new generation models with some fancy platform names are a mirage and gamble. If you are brave enough ( like us) to take it then please do dive but be patient.
