I have been a TATA user for a quite long time. Earlier I had TATA indigo which Unfortunately met with an Road Accident. ( The car toppled off the Highway at the speed of approx 140 on NH 26 ) But there was no injur to self or the co passangers. That day only I dedcided to go again for a TATA veh. I own my SAFARI STROME EX for abot 3 years. True to my expectation the TATA has not let me down.
Exterior Good, Gives a great look (obviously differnt people have different perciption)
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Better than previous safari. Space is adequate and quite comfortable. AC keeps you cool even under extensive hot climate of north India. The more you invest on interiors better they are
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox, Engine is good no problem with gearbox and have got fuel economy of as low as 10 KMPL in busy traffic of Delhi to as High as 15 KMPL on the Highways.
Ride Quality & Handling The driver seat give you good command on the road. The performance and pick up of engine is awesome. quite usefull veh for long drives.
Final Words Its a good veh if you enjoy long drives. Value for your money. Regarding the service I have realise its how and want kind of relations you have with the service team. Foutunately I have always met good persons at TATA service station and till date have not faced any problem in the veh. I have extracted more than what there is in the service brochure and service team is quite cooprative.
Finally it was my choice yo go for EX otherwise more you pay more are the features.
Areas of improvement Cruise control may be added which will make long drives much more comfortable.
