Tata Safari DiCOR 2.2 VVTi is a great vehicle where stability is concerned, after sales service, value for money, overall performance and offroading capability. Where the maintenance is concerned, it must be slightly higher than MUVs but when you drive a good SUV, you need to shell out a bit more for SUVs to tame the beast. Size does matter! Interiors are better than before and the VVTi engine is much better & powerful. Indians have proved it once again. One general acceptance is when you buy an Indian vehicle; our money will remain in India itself.

Tata Safari DiCOR 2.2 VVTi is much improved than the previous versions. The problems faced in earlier versions are fixed and there are no much maintenance issues as before as seen by the users. I suggest reading the latest reviews on this vehicle which gives a good image to this SUV. Overall it is a good SUV.

Power, Performance, Value for money, Offroading capability.Old reviews & perception myths.

I bought it in 2014 as a used car in only 300000 from a doctor which was ran only 58000 km, but lot of problems such as AC non-functional, the Stereo system non-functional, the power windows non-functional, Battery damaged etc. After repairing all the system I drive it all over India. The driving experience is extremely excellent.I got average millege of 13.4 K/mpl on highways. Maximum speed I achieved 180 km/ hour. It's look is is very nice and muscular. Performance is excellent even hills like Kullu Manali. Darjiling and Gangtok. Servicing of the vehicle is slightly high but tolerable. Maintenance is low but parts are expensive. Overall I like it very much.Even new safari is not smart like dicor 2.2 L. Even Storm isn't smart like Dicor. It will be much better if the company continue it with modern facilities and well equipped with the old shapes.
