Fantastic vehicle. We've owned the Dicor since april 2007, and have made many a highway and city trips together. Somehow, the car is always part of the family's travelogue. On our last round trip to New Delhi from Mumbai, the car returned a great mileage of 14.3 kmpl, that too with us cruising at around 100 - 120 kmph, with a full compliment of 5 family members, and a larger-than-full load of luggage that did not allow us to use the internal rear view mirror at all!
Of course, the suspension is fantastic, and has earned our family Safari the nickname "the mile-swallower"... irrespective of the road conditions, or the lack of them, we just need to mention the words "road trip" and everyone is out packing their bags, food, water, and looking forward to another great trip.
Maintenance wise, it's lighter on the pocket than we expected. We carry out preventive maintenance every 5,000 kms on the car, and so far, have not had to undertake any major repairs. We had some minor issues with the power windows, which were taken care of during the warranty, but apart from that, not a creak in the car till now, despite running around the country twice!
I'd recommend this car to anyone looking for a dependable, tough, comfortable, and completely reliable partner for the long roads through life. This one is definitely a keeper, something to be handed down from generation to generation as a family heirloom of memories and journeys.
