its the perfect car, i have purchased it in Sep 2014, approx 2 months before writing this review. earlier i was having wagon R VXI,
I got influenced by Nano, only by once sitting in the it, it seems so spacious that i cannot explain. I had made a Noida to shimla trip, with my wife and 3 yrs baby, average speed was 85 km, Nano gave me fuel amazing fuel economy of 26.5 kmpl. further rear wheel drive gave a amazing performance, which a front wheel drive cannot give in hill areas. the drive wheels never skids at slopes (whenever you have to start from rest on a uphill) thanks to rear wheel drive. the small turning radius gives you confidence of parking your car in the smallest possible space. people gets astonished when they see the parking ability of nano in small space.
next time i had a another visit (noida to yamumanagar) this time i decided to churn max fuel economy and kept my nano at 70 km speed on highway. Nano gave me a amazing fuel economy of 30.5 kmpl (to & fro 435 kms).the average was cross checked by filling the fuel tank and the electronic reading of the Nano. both results are almost similar.
In normal traffic it gives me a average of 18-20 kmpl.
Any person who sits in my car, gets impressed by the features at a such a small cost and fuel economy. and the turning in noida, delhi traffic further adds to it.

Exterior Very stylish and attention grabbing, the wheels are a little small for the overall dimensions of the car. However, has a very contemporary feel to the overall look. The paint job is good, maybe body colour bumpers should have been std fit. Some of the Panels on the front end do not have a snug fit, but overall the car has a very cool and youthfull look about it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This is one area that surprises you, you do not expect a car which has such small external dimesions to be so magnanimous in the space inside. The car is genuinely roomy on the inside. Even 6 feet + people are sitting in comfort. However, the flip side is, the seats are very basic in their appearance. The front seats sit on Pipes that have been bent to their desired shape, may be covering the seats completely would reduce this gawkiness of the interior. The central console is fully functional and completely easy to view. no problems there. What I did miss though, was an engine temperature guage. Some how with such an effective AC, and such small cubic capacity of the engine, one wanted to know what were the stresses and strains on the engine.
The Air conditioning was another area that surprised completely. I did not expect such an effective ac on such a small engine, and that too with out making it feel as though the engine was labouring on the increased load. Beautiful!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Remarkably perky and vivaciuos engine. once again surprises on the general liveliness. Hard to believe that this was just a 625 cc engine. the gearing is crisp and a lovely slotty feel to it. And the ratio is once again surprising. The 1st and 2nd gear feel torquey and full of gumf. The 3rd gear is sufficient to take you up to 60 and keeps you comfortable evn there. The fourth gear feels effective only after 60!. Once again unexpectedly charming.
Ride Quality & Handling. Lovely handling I have driven it on express way and unfortunately could not exceed 65 kmph (owing to the running in period). but It was sheer murder trying to restrict the car to this low speed, the engine and overall feel of the car was that she was raring to go, and was doing her a great disservice keeping her below 65. At no time did she feel as though I was demanding too much from the engine despite the ac running continiously.
Final Words Love the Car, great Value for Money, marvellous piece of engineering, considering the costs.
Areas of improvement The interiors seats. The engine note.
Perky engine, driveability, Air conditioningengine sound at low revs, car seat quality, battery under driver's seat

Last weak i had an oppurtinity to see nano closely and my experience was just like driving in an auto rickshaw.
The price tag of rs 1,00,000/- is not at all correct as most ot the models are above 1,50,000/- on road with all basic acceseries .the size of the tyre makes me uncomfortable camparing the size of pot holes, this car looks great but the drivers view is obstructive campared to size of the car, won`t be surprised to see this car taking place of auto rickshaw within this 5 years.obvious cant campare the quality of this car since there is no other option in this price tag, this car is for people who drives less than 5000 km yearly.the front seats are mounted on 2pipes with nut bolt fitting which will give lots of problem later. the luggage space is behind back seat and seat has to be folded.this car if it had launched 15years back would have been great success but in todays driving condition it would make traffic condition worst ,goverment instead of promoting low cost cars by giving subsidy sez facality should provide proper infrastructure in form of public transport rails ferrys which is degraded day by day I am not against poor people car but the fact is that the maintaince cost are much more campared to its price and type of material used , the only positive is that fuel prices are stable and once price goes above 100rs/lt itwould be very easy to buy a car than to drive it .

Exterior VERY GOOD QUALITY FINISH JOB ON PAINT. DROP DEAD LOOKS.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) NO GLOVE COMPARMENT TO STORE DOCUMENTS. TATA SHOULD HAVE MADE ONE IN THE CAVITY ON TOP OF THE DASHBOARD, ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CAR. DRIVER SEAT BACK REST GOT BENT, WHILE GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE CAR, WHEN YOU NATURALLY PUT STRAIN ON THE BACK REST, WHILE TAKING THE FOOT OUT OF THE CAR.SPACE IS AMAZING. I TOOK 6 PEOPLE INCLUDING MYSELF IN COMFORT.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox FUEL ECONOMY BETWEEN 18 AND 20 IN THE CITY, WITH FAST DRIVING. GEARBOX VERY IMPRESSIVE. ENGINE TENDS TO GET HEATED UP AND SOMETIMES SMELL COMES THROUGH THE ac. I NEED TO CHECK THIS UP. I HAVE DRIVEN 9000KMS, AND NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER. LOVE THE ACCLERATION AND SPEED.
Ride Quality & Handling RIDE QUALITY, GOOD FOR THE PRICE. THE BACK SEATS HAVE POOR LUMBAR SUPPORT, SO LONG DISTANCE IS A NO NO. HANDLING IS GREAT. OFFCOURSE YOU HAVE TO GET USED TO A CAR, WHICH HAS ITS WHEELS AT THE FOUR CORNERS. TOTALLY DIFFERENT TURNING SKILLS REQUIRED. POWER STEERING ABSENCE MAY NOT BE EVERYBODY LIKING, ESPECIALLY FROM STANDING START. ONCE THE CAR IS UNDERWAY, SHE STEERING EFFORTLESSLY.
Final Words FOR DRIVERS WHO REQUIRE A PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR, LIKE MYSELF, ITS ABSENCE IS A BIG PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF CLOSE SHAVES WITH TRAFFIC AND PEOPLE. I WISH TATA WILL INTRODUCE ONE IN THE MARKET. THE C-PILLAR, BE CAREFUL. IT IS A MAJOR BLIND SPOT. YOU CAN EASILY MISS A PERSON OR TWO WHEELER, COMING FROM THAT ANGLE.
Areas of improvement PASSENGER SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR, AC SYSTEM IMPROVMENT TO PREVENT AIR FLOW BLOCKAGE. GOOD QUALITY ARRANGEMENT TO FIT REAR TRAY, TO MOUNT SPEAKERS. GLOVE COMPARTMENT. ROOF RAILS. ALLOY WHEELS AS STANDARD AT SAME COST.
FANTASTIC SPACE, GREAT PICK UP AND SPEED, GREAT FUEL ECONOMY, FASTASTIC TO DRIVE IN TRAFFICNO ACCESS TO ENGINE OIL AND WATER LEVELS/DRIVER SEAT MADE OUT OF LOW GAUGE PIPE, BACK REST GETS BENTExterior/Styles
