Excellent value for money offering from Tata Motors

Was lucky enough to get a taste of this car....drove for about 20 kms. (in city) Decent gear box, responsive engine and tons of space. Returned an FE of 18.1 for the 20 kms that I logged...quite impressive for a petrol car of this size. Goes over the potholes fairly well, good braking action. Body work could have been better, same goes for interiors. 460 Lit. of boot is massive, boon for some.........problems for others. Instrument panel is bit small (personal view), prefer a come alive version. Overall very serious threat to D'zire, Fiesta, Aveo for sure. Tata Motors should refine it a bit and it is ready to take aspirational segment too. They also need to tighten up the support set-up at the grass root level.
