A Good Car

 

Exterior  Fine.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fine.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox  Better. I purchase recently second hand DLS BS-II Jun 2004 model and drived from Delhi to Jammu. It gave me the mileage of 22 km approx.  Actually I drived 525 KM on a diesel of Rs 890/- though on highway.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling was excellent. I was driving a 6 Yr old car but it never seems so while overtaking the peer vehicles or driving at 120 KMPH.

 

Final Words  It is better than what I have though of a six year old car.

 

Areas of improvement  A company fitter leather upholstry, and music system would have been better.  The quality of Headlights and specially the fittings/housings attachments with the body need to be improved.  It is in plastic casing and hangs with two plastic pins which does not hold good.  The headlight should come with a stainless steel casing in between cushioned with high quality rubber washers which furhter can be fitted with body with strength to bear the bumps of our famous roads.

 

It gave me 22KM/L of diesel while I drived down from Delhi to JammuSome compromise with speed while AC is on
