My Indica V2 Turbo has completed one year of run around 10000 Kms. It is one of the best small cars in the business today.
I have also driven the new Swift Diesel... & find nothing great in the car when compated to the Indica Turbo. The Swift Diesel is surely not worth Rs.5.4 Lacs (on road price in Bangalore) & definitely does not deserve the hype created by the media & Maruthi Udyog. I was also not happy with its power & pickup.
Surely, at the end of the day, I am a proud owner of Indica V2 DLG Turbo

We bought one in April 2006 for my parents.
Good space.Great in the city.Decent on the highway. Economical. Comfortable.
Turbo Lag in second gear is a PAIN. The car cries when you go over a speed breaker and it takes quite a while to build up revs after you slow down and shift down to second.
I am wondering how it will feel, if one is negotiating the hairpin bends on the Sigur Ghats on the way to Ooty.
Tata AFTER SALES Service needs a swift kick in the rear end! This car came to us with a constant fan belt/ AC Belt squeaky noise. Despite many attempts to get rid of it, it continues. The latest thing to conk out is the rear door central locking mechanism forcing one to stick a hand out and open the door from outside.
Build quality is not fantastic and the tyres are too small and tiny despite the 14 inch rims!
This car however is great value to use and is very nice and easy to park etc in crowded cities, while still being very spacious, even at the rear seats.
I am wondering about the re-sale value though.
Fuel Economy. Space. Value. Extras not available in other similar size carsService, Turbo Lag in Second Gear, Overall image. Wondering about re-sale

Good Car. Value for money. Comfort in long journey also. Only unhappyness in Belt & Engine noise and AC sudden stop after 200KM continious running.
Incase the small small problems can improve, it is the best car in this price tag.
Also an good exchange price from TATA MOTORS is expected incase of buying a higher model car.
