Best car in this price range. No one can beat this beast. Really tata have shown a brilliant job. Inspired from range rover and parts are taken from jaguar. Awesome car. No issue. I have driven it 28000 kms without any lag. Such a great work. After sale service of tata is also improving. U can take this car blindly. I also have Toyota fortuner and Mahindra xuv 5oo but hexa is beyond your expectations. Loved this car. Better than fortuner and xuv. Fortuner is just a waste of money. This car is best

Feel pity on their crew. I have owned one Hexa XT. I have Purchased the same from MK motors, Kottayam, Kerala on Aug 2017. Till now 9200 kms has been driven. Within last twenty days four break downs has occurred. Same complaints have been repeated again and again. I can’t able to start the vehicle.

I have compelled to go back in the middle of my journeys. All these time, brake down assistances came and take the vehicle to their service center. They can’t able to resolve the issue properly. From the very first day after availing the car the same issue repeated. I have got worst services from MK motors, Kottayam, Kerala. Last week, with God’s grace I have a narrow escape from an accident due to steering got stuck.

I want to sell back the vehicle. Tata motors should have the responsibility for my inconveniences.

Having driven my new HEXA for about 10months now have clocked 10000kms. It has a Solid and Muscular Onroad Presence, Good stability and grip on road. Interior space is quit enough to accomadate seven passangers with lot of comfort for long drives.

Hexa with lot of safety features viz six air bags, ABS - EBD, Traction control, Hill decent control , 19 inches alloys, ESP etc..  ensures safety of the passengers at the price tag it offers and makes it a perfect family car.

Well designed Dash board provides easy access to infotainment system and auto AC controls. Few low bits such as Small touch screen w/o inbuilt navigation , which is a great need of time this days, needs to be addressed by TATA engineers.

Engine performs well when on long drives with excellent NVH ( Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels offers good fuel economy between 13 to 16 KMPL on long drives 11 to 13 kMPL in city drive.Gear shifting feels little hard at this stage - wish to get it corrected in next service.

Ride and comfort quality is excellent and doesn't feel to be stressed even after a long drives
@200 + kms as compared to other brand cars. Suspension feels to be excellently optimised as small pathholes, bumps are easily observed providing stress free ride experience.

Other features such as Mood lighting, Drive modes, Cruise control, Harman-Carden infotainment system, AC ports and mobile charging points in all three rows adds to a better driving experience.

TATA needs to be improve on its overall sales n service experience offering customers to handle such a excellent products in their portfolio nowadays.

Exterior Fantastic look and is having Royal look. Should have come out in black colour and solid white also. Such big vehicles look more better in these colours.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent features and sufficient room and comfort. AC is performing very nice. Only shortcoming is Navigation facity should have been in built.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent. Mileage is 10-11 in city and 14-15 on highway if speed is maintained between 90-100 km per hr.

Ride Quality & Handling Single hand and ride quality is excellent, have driven 17500 km in one year. Till date no issues.

Final Words Excellent and had loyalty with Tata since 2009. Earlier having Tata safari.

Areas of improvement Both back light should work. Navigation should be inbuilt. Technicians should be given suficient training at all service centers so that after sale service should not be a problem.

I bought the car on Jan 1st 2019 from its first owner. He sold the car after using just for 15 months as he was moving out of India. It's a great car with amazing ride quality and handling. The ride quality can be compared to 2 segments above its class. Build quality and interiors are solid and made to last. All black interiors, leather seats, 6 airbags, transaction control, esp, hill down assist are great features at this price point. Car is great on highways and very stable, comfortable. Maintaining the car is easy on the pocket. Only con is the turbo lag below 1500rpm which can be handled with a little practice. Overall it's a great car and very good value for money. I will keep this for a long time. Love the car a lot.

I went on a 1000KM trip in the first week literally covering all types of terrains. I travelled with my family and lots of luggage and we found it very comfortable. Met a lot of friends and family in this trip living in 5 different towns/cities. Everyone who saw the Hexa loved it. Kids and Elders alike.

Exterior I love it's styling. I feel it is better than Innova, XUV500 in looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Feature rich. Spacious interior. Comfortable seats. A/C is good. In my trip, I covered Vijayawada which was going through a heat wave (schools were shut down for 3 days) and we were doing just fine in the Hexa. I also liked the Visility from the driver's seat. Front, Sides and the Rear. Also liked the quality of the Sound System. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good. Inspite of its weight, I noticed it accelerates faster than Innova and even some smaller cars. It is definitely quicker than Innova Crysta 2.4. I was not able to check it against the Innova Crysta 2.8. I got overall economy of 12.5KMPL with 2/3 city and 1/3 highway driving.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent

Final Words I would highly recommend to check it out before going for Innova Crysta or XUV 500.

Areas of improvement Gearshift could be lot better. My 10 year old Skoda is better. But I am willing to ignore this as it is our driver who is going to drive most of the times, not me 😄

Tata HEXA is one of the best vehicle in India. The best thing is that it offers d classic features including safety n maintenance. Look is so premium and design is also unique. After a long time TATA motors won d of people by launching. coming to the price it's good. Everything is just wooooooo for me. Amazing ch vehicle.
