Looking for a family mover, but not just that, an off-roader, a luxury carrier and a comfortable, sturdy car for long drives, Tata Hexa is your bet. I recently bought the XM model and am thoroughly enjoying it.
Massive road presence, great value of money beating Innova Crysta by nearly 3-4 lacs and offering premium and luxury feel over the XUV500. Even other competitors like Honda BRV and Ertiga, though cheaper have miniscule road presence and don't offer ride comfort as Hexa does. Recommended, totally however I do advise you to thoroughly check your car before taking a delivery. Tatas products like Tiago, Nexon and Hexa are way more competitive however their quality check process and sales service have yet to come to par with other rivals.
I've only driven 200 kms till now hence cannot comment on its long term durability, but on that note too, I've read and heard positive feedback. Also don't worry much about the resale value. In a couple of years with a upgrade, Hexas resale value may get more aggressive than the Xuv500 if not the Innova.
