Exterior Smoked Projector headlamps very good. Black C-pillar looks sporty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Touch Screen infotainment system very useful, built in GPS, steering mounted controls, voice command, spacious and comfortable seats with good thigh rest, Air throw very good, Storage space under co-passenger seat and deep glovebox, Music system effect is way above than it's peers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very smooth, turbocharged engine nice to drive at high speeds. Fuel economy is not that great, but not bad either. Gear box not as good as a Hyundai, but not far behind from that.
Ride Quality & Handling Very stable at high speeds. In NH easily 120km/hr is possible. Ride quality is like a SUV. Not far behind from being called a Compact SUV. Cabin insulation is very good. Humps and pot-holes handled maturely.
Final Words If the prejudice of 'TATA' can be removed, if one is going for a Swift, look out for BOLT to Get.Set.Bolt.
Areas of improvement May be fuel economy can be addressed to give a tough competition to Swift.

Exterior Very good. Fit & Finish has been improved. Headlights and tail-lamps are also very good. Styling is pleasing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Console is excellent. Seating and floor trims are pedestrian - need improvement. Seats are spacious and comfortable, but the upholstry needs drastic improvment. Colour chocie of the fabric upholstry is baffling. Bottle holders / Door storage spaces are absolutely useless.- too small even to hold small water bottles. Arm-rest is mediocre.
Airconditioning is excellent - I see it as the best in its class. I own a SKODA and a Micra. A/C and climate control is far superior in Tata Bolt. Air flow vents and air-flow directional controls are not good compared to Micra or any Hyundai cars.
Dashboard is a beauty. Control knobs are at the right places, ergonomically placed, smooth to operate. This is excellence at its best. Electroncs, music system, blue-tooth connectiivity, Connect-Next , ACC, voice-activated conrols and the like are way ahead of the competition in this proice range, much better than the one found in SKOADA Rapid! Speakers deliver precisely the sound with high quality.
The seat belts need sepcial metion: They do not do what they are expected to do. If you think this seat belt will save you in an accident, increase your insurance cover by 10 fold. The belts do not tighten and retract after the seat belt is locked. extra length limply lies on your lap! I tried to convince the service guys with photos and everyone of them says that this how it is in every Tata Bolt car! I think Tata Motors should find a better vendor for this supply and may even have to recall vehicles to replace it. This is a saety-related issue.
The igniticion key is supplied to TATA BOLT by the same maker (HELLA) who supplies to SKODA and VW. But perhaps, this vendor sends all the seconds and rejects, to Tata Bolt!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very well designed. Surprisingly the power and torque are good. Acceleration therefore is very smooth. Micra (Petrol versions) has a perceptible lag on a gradient, where as Tata Bolt surpasses expectations. Fuel economy is very good. I drive over 200 KMS daily on the national higway with mileage averaging close to 20-21 KMS to a litre of diesel consistently, at over 100 KMPH and with A/C on. I have had no complaints on the engine and gear box in the last 15000 KMs that I have driven in six months. Gear Shift lever is in the right place and shifts smoothly, without any vibration even at lower speeds. This engine is very quite and is hardly audible when you are travelling at around 80 - 90 KMs. Engine does seem to loose its nerve to cross 120 KMS even on the best stretches of roads.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is superb. Gound clearance is much more than in most compact hatch backs. Suspension is very good, handling is very comfortable and without any strain. EPAS helps smooth and easy steering. No complaints. I do not know what cornering control does, but it must be quietly doing its job - I have had no problems of loss of stability or rolling taking turns at high speeds - SKODA stands a shade better in this department, though MICRA does roll perceptability while cornering.
Final Words TATA Bolt is worth the money invested in it. It may not have the brand image to boost its sales volume, and may be the underdog (with the INDCA stigma) atttached to it. Nonetheless, this product deserves more sales than SWIFT or any other hatchback in this segment. TATA's Design Engineers have done a great job, but the product may have to shed the shape and leanings on the INDCA platform which connects (though inadverdently) to the impressions of a Cab!
Areas of improvement Tata service centres are within easy reach. I have to fight with Sayar Motors (a dealer of Tata Vehicles in Vellore) even to make them understand the simple complaints that I explain to them. But the service mechanics must have been maintaining Auto Rikshaws. Even though I am tolernt, these guys can exaspirate you. Sayar Motors, Vellore is an utter disgrace. But this is not a sweeping comment about other Tata Service Centres.

Exterior Exterior is Good not best, front resembles with tata vista which makes the wrong perception for car. Honey comb structure make the car diffrent from vista look. Thier may a chance of improvement at rear side.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is excellent, controls on sterring makes the car toatlly diffrent on this range. Quite spacious car and comfortable on long drive. Seat adjustment feature make the car one for all package. Harman sound system and climate control with aux and iphone connectivity make the car totally differnt.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite powerfull in sports modes and one can fee the same while he switch between its multidrive mode. Fuel economy is quite good in city and one can easily get min 20 mileage on highway with AC in use.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling of car is quite good in high as well as in low spped. Steering is quite free while parking.
Final Words Finally the car is value for money and good package at this segment. If comaprable to other cars in this segements it need to be first choice for one.

Exterior Probably the only drawback of the model. It resembles a lot like the Indica Vista. TATA boasts of its signature TATA Grill, I don't see whats so special in it. On a closer view - The projector headlamps, the flame tail lights and the alloys look great.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best in class space, the shoulder hugging seats were really very comfortable and not to mention the JBL Harman infotainment system - very modern and great system that apart from audio also supports videos, maps, navigation and a lot more.
Took a long drive of about 300kms without any stops, neither me nor my co-passengers were not a bit tired. Very comfortable and spacious seats, great legroom - comfortable for aged as well as tall people.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Awesome engine performance. Especially the multi-drive mode was great. There was a sudden surge of power while switching to sports mode while driving, and the acceleration changed significantly.
Average Fuel Economy. Highway - 15~16 Kmpl. City - 13~14 kmpl. Not much difference in fuel economy in different modes.
Good Gearbox. Not the best The gearbox is better compared to Swift or i20. But can't expect a great one as in Honda Brio.
Ride Quality & Handling Great Ride Quality and Handling. The engine noise was very less. I accelerated it upto 150kmph and there was no vibration or any change in engine sound. Car was moving as smooth as if it were running at 70~80 kmph. The ABS and the Corner Stability Control stands as per expectations. Steering was very very smooth and cornering can be done with ease at high speeds.
Final Words A great hatchback loaded with features. Best engine you could possibly get at the price. Exteriors may look a bit disappointing, but once we get to the driver's seat, our perspectice totally changes. The features and comfort gives us the pleasure of driving a luxury sedan.
Areas of improvement Bootspace could be made larger, Gearbox could be smoother, and the outside look can be changed not to resembel the vista.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Superb in feature like tauch screen, air bag, Herman infotainment system, I liked most is sport mode. Space is not comparable to it's rivals. In terms of comfort; I never tired while driving for continue13 hrs.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Little bit laud sound untill 1st gear otherwise very responsive engine. I got 18 km/l in highway and 13 km/l in city.
Ride Quality & Handling Perfect ride quality. No road sound at all inside the cabin.
Final Words I bought Bolt after researching for 6 months. I choose comfort and power rather than styling! I have already driven 13000 KMs, my Bolt is still like new. It has spacious and comfortable cabin, A1 music system and stunning power. I love this car. I never tired while driving continuously for more than 12 hours.
Areas of improvement No noise inside but little bit laud outside untill 1st gear. It would be good to have bottle holder in each door pocket of four doors. One thing is that if it should be at least 250 ltr boot space.

Final Words Bolt Car is good, but problems are there , my car wheel alignment problem is there. I gone to Uppal service center with this complaint. But after they given same issue is there. I gone after 1 week with same problem last time now resolved, now they are telling its chargable. I taken my car 3 week back and first service also didnt happned, and service center manager is telling that its paid one.
For 3 week old car problem is not resloved for first time, for the second time they arr telling it chargable.
Areas of improvement Service is very poor, before i buy this i have a mahindra scorpio, i never faced any problem with those people.
Customer have to do thire jobs or wait for you service center for small small reasons. Very very bad service.
My brother is there in service center only gone at 9:00 AM today 28 OCt 2015 Still there now time is 1:00 PM (still my brother is there in service center only) (name Rakesh Ph No : 8686607988 any body can call and ask is is correct or not) , For such a small problem, wheel alignment.

Exterior It looks nice, but still looks like the Vista. The projector headlamps looks very nice, also the black pillar, but it is just a sticker.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The cabin space is good, the features also nice, just that boot space is a little low. They should give rear AC vents. The quality is also good, but all black. It should have been beige, I like it. Music system sounds very nice.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Petrol engin feels very nice, the power modes actually work and you can feel it while driving. It is fast. The gearbox is smooth, feels good.
Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable, I did a short spin and steering wheel is light and easy. Good for traffic.
Final Words Good value for money, I will buy this over Swift. Hopefully they have good service now. The diesel seems to be boring and I think it is a little expensive.
Areas of improvement It needs to look better. Tata has to provide better service.
