Exterior Great styling, very sporty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Absolutetly brilliant, it comes with a host of safety features, some of them unique to this car, which could shame even an S-class. For Indian tastes, the simple form of the cabin maybe a bit too boring, but there’s an appealing blend of high quality and a robust feel that make it special. The front seats feel a half- size larger than competitors and we found them to be extremely comfortable. Rear seat comfort is also very impressive.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Unique ‘torque vectoring’ feature, which works in conjunction with the stability control program. this potent motor delivers brilliant performance from anywhere in the powerband. Acceleration is very strong and this turbo-petrol’s mid-range is nothing short of explosive.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is well resolved, a rock solid fun vehicle, a gr8 highway cruiser.
Final Words A definite trend setter, gr8 competition for BMW 3series and Mercedes C-class. If you look at value for money, the S60 blows the others away. The engines are powerful, the safety equipment is unmatched and despite being an import, it’s amazingly well priced.it offers a unique set of strengths; and is a convincing alternative to its more established German rivals.
Areas of improvement Noise levels are considerably higher than a BMW, it lacks the dynamics of a 3 series. Also poise of a mercedes C class.
a definite style statementthe mass of buttons on the central console is confusing. No Spare tyre .

Exterior This is one of the most stylish looking car in its segment ( I understand to each his own but this style works for me) , I bought the copper metallic shade and have had crowd surround the car in parking at least 3 times in last month.
The sports car look is very appealing and is welcome change compared to dour looking Merc C class or BMW 3 Series
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The integrated system with 5 Inch screen is awesome and the hands free feature for phone is a delight. The rear space is comfortable but would not call it roomy or spacious. It is just about the space I had in my Chevrolet Optra Magnum. The seats are plush and comfortable.
Dont go out looking for even simple accessories like floor mat , they are simply not available. Had to go for 3D custome cut mats. Even the base version does not need any further accessories for basic comfort but the downside of driving not so popular brand and model is I am dependent only on Volvo Service for all fancy add ons.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance on D4 is satisfactory not out of ordinary but I drive only inside City so for me not a drawback at all but speed and sports enthusiast will be little disappointed at drag. Fuel Economy is super awesom with almost 15km/l under city conditions.
Ride Quality & Handling It is an extremely reassuring Vehicle to drive with City Safety & DSTC . Car feels solid even on hard bank turns and the City Safety feature unique to Volvo works in real life situation too and not just some fancy thing that works in Demo.
The steering is smooth and I have tried using the geartronic manual system with DSTC off , I am sure there are consumers for it but it did not do anything for me.
Ride quality is excellent on smooth road/city or highway drive but otherwise it is strictly OK in bumby conditions, it bumps around in uneven roads and need to be careful on unpaved roads due to low ground clearance , have already scraped the vehicle on a stone. I have subsequently at Volvo Service got the car to ride little higher (which is possible).
Final Words An awesome buy at price and package , chose it over X1 as this feels a luxury vehicle and worth every penny spent and not just some Brand name with compromised interiors.

Amazingly Sporty for a VOLVO, Stylish front & a perky bottom with the unique Volvo tail lights,
a bit bulk from side compared to Audi A4 or BMW-3 Series but overall very classy & sporty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Rich interiors with electrically operated seats, more spacious than Audi A4, BMW - 3 Series and even Benz C-Class. The seats are really comfortable with high quality leather. The climate control system & the music system provided is top draw.It comes along with the sun roof & other host of features which you expect from a VOLVO.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Superb Performance,Auto Transmission, Nice and smooth acceleration though the Turbo engine is a bit noisy compared to its competitors. Fuel economy is an amazing 12kmpl on Mumbai roads which is again the best in its class.
Ride Quality & Handling
Fun to drive.Sturdy & balanced,the steering is tighter compared to the A4 & 3 series.But has a smooth ride quality & a perfect for rear seating passengers.
Final Words
Attractively priced even after it being an complete import,one of its kind safety features & a powerful engine with an amazing milegage.

the exterior looks are really eye catchy...and i feel is the best in its segment..

the space inside the vehicle is fine and is better than its counterparts which is the bmw 3series and the audi a4. the safety features in this vehicle is top notch and is on par with an S class ... the seating is also great.. the steering wheel is somewhat regular and normal but the central console makes up for it.. the air conditioner is something which has to be toked abt in this vehicle.. the cooling is fantastic

the volvo s60 d3 is something which is going to click big time in the indian roads and this gem needs to be marketed properly by the VOLVO ....and they surely have a winner in this vehicle

Exterior The Colors offered are very exclusive. Mine is blue and attracts attention everywhere on road. Good road presence.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All expected features except keyless entry, which is even available in a 5 Lakh car these days! Music system is very average, and build quality is so so. Mine make an irritating sqeeky noise every time it passes rough roads.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It takes an effort to move at low speeds. It flies at speeds of 60+. Fuel economy is good and the gearbox offered is old, compared to those offered in Merc and Audi.
Ride Quality & Handling The steering feels heavy at most times as it is hydraulic. The ground clearance is good in books, but practically the car touches speed breakers.....almost as much as a Civic.
Final Words This is not a practical car for India. I doubt if my car will last long with me. There is no spare wheel, and there is a funnel needed to fill fuel tank! I am so afraid of taking the car on a highway, specially at night.
