Exterior :Pleasing to the eye from outside
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) : Not many features to talk about.. I think space & comfort is the USP of this car
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox : Gradual pick up in first and second gear. FE:- Intially (1k) was giving 10-12 in city now around 15-16 in city. Gearbox- 2nd gear is getting stuck while upshifting and downshifting .
Ride Quality & Handling: Ride quality is better than competion
Final Words : Good points: Legroom (D&P), very comfortable for driver and passager
Areas of improvement : Intial pick up and interiors
This is my first car and first ever review.
I bought this car on April 21st, completed 3 month and 3K on the ODO. I bought this car mainly for two reasons space & comfort for driver and passenger and reliablity ( i dont want to take the car for any sort of service)

Elligent look. Really i got fascinated with the look it provides. On road, it is comparable with SUVs.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Lot of headroom, legroom and shoulder room, accomodates seat 6 people without any difficulty. Smooth suspension, Amazing steering, Super cooling AC with filters, Good riding comfort, driver seat height adjustment allows to adjust our seating position
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Low end torque is good. On the highway it can beat the rest of the pack like a long race champion. Good fuel efficiency. It keeps increasing after a few 1000 kms. Super smooth engine and really a pain free clutch which is suited best for our country conditions at current scenario. Sturdy and easy gear shifting.
Ride Quality & Handling
Superb ride and handling. Suspension is much softer. Back seat riders enjoy a stress free ride in this vehicle.
Final Words
Worth for money.
Areas of improvement
1. Wiper coverage in driver end.
2. Reverse back light

I have a toyota etios liva . When i was going on highway, driving speed was on 130 km/hr to 140 km/hr, suddenly front tyre come into damage road and wheel get punchered due to safty feathers i controlled it very well but it strike from left side rock from front side It got damaged from front side so i give it on service center at my native place for repairing under insurance. They passes insurance claim but its damage parts are not available at service center from last 25 days.In starting they don't give me delivery date. They says as parts will arrange will call you. Days passes now Service centre employee says that parts will come after one month till we have to wait for it. Car is good, its perfomence is too good but its service is so poor. So please think about it that its perfomance is good but in service end its goes down.

Exterior Good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space and comfort. But the driver has no clue what is the engine temperature or any such indication as in other cars. Every indication on the dash board is blank except the Speedometer.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox All good.
Ride Quality & Handling Easy drive. But the window frame blocks the driver's view during turns. Dangerous. The front mudguard touches ground on humps. Car feels very light as compared to solid European ones.
Final Words I crashed one car due to heavy smoke from exsaust and failure of electronics like ABS. The company never replied to any of my mails or looked into the causes of accident. They are on the defensive. Due to old age I didn't go the consumer forum. Lost Rs. 2 lakhs for the replacement car. Poor management response. However, the airbags saved lives.
Areas of improvement Change the dashboard indicators; reduce the speedometer size which is only a show piece but not of much use, and make other features like Engine Temp visible for the driver.
Increase the front mudguard height to avoid touching the humps.
Fuel ecconomy. Easy to drive.Dashboard does not show anything till u get into trouble. Smoke emits frequently.எக்ஸ்டீரியர்/ஸ்டைல்ஸ்

Exterior Not very good but gives a spacious feel if u see from front .
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Not very attractive interiors but not too bad also.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Have driven more than 10,000 kms till now. performance is very good, very good fuel economy. 16-18 kmpl in crowded city like mumbai & 24-25kmpl on highways. very good pick up esp in ghat section with full A/C on. good stability on C / U turns at the speed of 80-100 kmph. gear shifting is good but not very excellent.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good.. but better is expected. shocks are less but improvement is needed. handling is very good in terms of steering wheel, manouvering, quick turns, etc. very good braking.
Final Words Good spacious and reliable family car with one of the trusted and tested car brand in market.
Areas of improvement Interiors, shock absorbers, more options in colors, rear wipers, defogger option sohuld be available.

Exterior All doors are lose paint where cabin rubber struck with it .look is good
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very bad ,cabin is very noisy, spacious cabin ,instument clustr is like maruti 800. no rpm meter.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine smooth power delivery, good fuel economy 20 to 24km/ltr.gearbox is smooth,go upto 160km/h very easily.
Ride Quality & Handling Driving is exellent and handling is good but after driven 25000 km ciucth is not working properly in morning for a few km.and some time a/c is on than whole steering and cabin is viberate. its suspension is very noisy in small path hole it noise like thud thud. and suspension is very soft .in car 5 pessanger are sitting than small breaker is big for this.
Final Words I am driving from delhi to gurgaon daily upto 80 km daily .i driven this liva 30000 km appox. Not a product as we can say this is from toyota, total compomising car.
Areas of improvement Almost interior, a/c blower, body, doors paints if we open door and closed paint get screached from cabin side.

Final Words
We Purchased Toyota Etios Liva last year during Diwali and it was maintained only with the dealer from the beginning. No additional extra fittings were deployed in the car other than what the dealer provided for extra cost at the time of purchase.
But before this year Diwali, the car burnt automatically (on a rainy day midnight 11.30 PM) while it was parked in my house porch in side locked gates. Since it was first year itself, we will get the basic cost from the insurance. But the arrogant Toyota Kirloskar Motor management is giving a sterio type reply that their vehicle is not having any fault, that too when Toyota Japan has recalled about 2.8 Million cars of other brands worldwide. The way they are repeatedly replying seems as such we ourself set fire to our own brand new car (it has hardly run about 2000 kms). The blunder what I did was chossing Toyota car. As a middle class person, even if I have hired vehicle to travel these 2000 odd kilometers, I would not have spent more than one tenth of this lost amount (almost more that two lakhs I lost just buying Toyota Etios car). At the same time, my entire family was saved by God’s grace, since the flame not reached luckily to the petrol tank (if it so, nearby my house electricity main boards also been involved), before the fire brigades put off the fire. Otherwise my entire house and nearby houses & vehicles might have been blasted, because it’s a 100% residential area.
Even as I am using Toyota (Japanese) car for the past more than 18 years, my sincere advise not to buy Toyota cars in India, even though it's a Japanese tied-up brand of car. You will not get proper response from the local manufacturer, TKM. This is my experience, even after appealing directly to their CEO of TKM, a typical Indian Manufacturer who don’t take responsibilities mostly. DUE TO THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH TOYOTA INDIA, I REQUEST FELLOW CUSTOMERS NOT TO CHOOSE TOTYOTA ETIOS LIVA - BETTER GO FOR SOME OTHER BRAND.
When it was burnt, as a first time user of a car, we checked with the dealer what further steps we have to do & they assured that they will take care of the rest of things and took the vehicle to their yard & sold to a salvage company also. But couple of days back, insurance company told to cancel the Registration of the vehicle to process the claim and when we went to RTO office to do so, we have been asked by the RTO, why it was not cancelled immediately after the incident and why you sold the debris before we inspect & cancel the vehicle registration. So in this way also, very very bad experience from the Toyota dealer. I doubt whether they know the procedures well or not taking that much serious about customers & their affairs.

We got the etios liva for our grand father. we wanted him to get the i20 as we felt it had a better engine and more features for the same price. but since he had a corola and a qualis when he was workn as an advorcate, he wanted to get a toyota after retirement. tha car was bought a month ago. it is easy to drive. but it is not exciting. it does not have many features lik the climate control and the plastics are really cheap. single wiper, thought effective is really cheap. the car looks cheap, cost cutting is seriously visible. why can't they make it with a toyota dna lik what honda has done with the brio?? only thing in the car is toyota badge and space. its very pricey. its 7 lakhs. if only toyota had priced it right, it would have been a real good car. they have priced it almost 80,000 than its real worth rate.it should hav been priced lik etios which became a big hit,but dont expect this on too toyota.

Engine gives nice performance, smooth gear shifting, Exterior the tyre portion is more open and reduces stylish look. The tyre size could have been larger to that of high end models.
Fuel economy and performance not match to the toyotta class. The Audio system is not included in the G model and there are no rear speakers is one area that needs impovement. The G model will be more attractive if fog lamps are included. The boot and spacious interiers are high light of the Ethios Liva. If the Price where Some thousands less it could compete with other manufacturers of this segment. The car is good for long jouneys and not so good for city rides.
The milege is less when compared to Swift, Figo Etc. The Ethios Liva if avaliable more colours like cofee brown would be more attractive. The car is going to bring change in the outlook of new customers by its style. In short the Exterier and interiers are good and worth buying.
