Exterior According to me this is a sedan with the best shape in its segment,the front side of the car looks awesome the rear as people say looks some what like logan but still looks elegant and quite different overall a good looking car much better than manza and dezire.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) As people mention that interiors of the car are way below average I would say thoug the interiors are not elegant but still they are not bad and gives a descent look,space in teh car is huge,the rear seats are designed in such a way that even 4 people can sit comfartably, with refernce to comfort I would say it is not the best but still good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is also good though the engine souds like a diesel engine while ignition but once you move with the machine its just like any other petrol engine,the engine is refined and very smooth,pickup is too good and shows that there is a backup of powerful engine,fuel economy is not yet checked by me i will check it after 1st service,gear shifting is also a treat in this car as they are too smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling The best part of etios interms of handling is its steering, the response of teh steering is very good, turning radius is awesome ride quality is very smooth.
Final Words I would say in this budget etios is a worth buy much better tha manza, dezire, accent etc once you own it you will feel the difference.
Areas of improvement Driver and rear seats should bemore comfortable.

Exterior The body kits is looking awesome and the rims attracts its the best car for six lakhs the exteriors gives a look like a muscle cum tuner car so as a sedan the car does a fine job
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors of etios is very nice ,mainly the speedometer attracts the dashboard is awesome the rear head rest is like a pillow and the front seats looks sporty. The car is totally awful from the top front view its lookin like innova annd corolla mixed car made for the middle class people.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its gear is nice. It has a very good fuel economy.
Ride Quality & Handling The handling is super mainly the steering responds the driver very well.
Final Words The ETIOS is really a nice car.
Areas of improvement Nothin to improve already nice then its a fuel efficient car like logan, they can make it as diesel in sedan etios.

Exterior A very good looking car with excellent finish. The alloy wheels look fantastic. The front, side and three-quarter views are all good, while the rear end may appear boxy in a Mahindra Loganish way to some. The chrome highlights and trim are really neat.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space is generous and three adults can sit comfortably in the rear seat all day with plenty of leg and shoulder space. The AC is quite effective though you have to run it at high speed for rear seat cooling. The cooled glove box works well and keeps drinks and water cool- not chilled. The red and black upholstery and trim is really good- surprisingly none of the many Toyota dealers I went to could provide seat covers in the same combination. The centre placement of the instrument cluster is very good and the dials themselves are beautiful; the white backlighting at night is particularly attractive. There is a tachometer, speedo and digital odometer with two tripmeters. The fuel gauge is also digital, with LCD squares that show up depending on the quantity of fuel in the tank. Ther are warning lights for all essential parameters including airbags, rear defogger, seatbelt unfastened and door open.
The steering wheel is well proportioned with a flattened bottom rim- a nice touch. The seats provide generous thigh sopport and are well cushioned. There is good lumbar support as well.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine revs smoothly throughout its range though it does get a wee bit noisy at max revs. The acceleration is quick and overtaking is a breeze. The gear shift is positive and gears slot in smoothly with very positive feedback. The power steering is extremely effective and driving and parking are effortless. The pedals are well positioned and this is THE CAR for long drives in the hills. The brakes are effective and inspire confidence.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride is good and it is apparent that the suspension is designed with Indian roads in mind. The ground clearance of 170mm ensires that the car easily takes potholes and speedbreakers in its stride. The car steers positively, though there is some under steer when cornering at higher speeds- nothing disconcerting, though.
Final Words An excellent car that more than lives upto the TOYOTA heritage and really gives value for money.
Areas of improvement
1. The stereo clock needs a setting for time display even when the system is OFF.
2. The dealer experience needs to be looked into- ther is a tentency to say " we have a waiting list for this car- take it or leave it."

Exterior Very simple and neat exterior. Looks are well proportioned. Even big in size does not look out of proportion. Front and rear looks are balanced.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious and thought full design that suits Indian conditions. Good leg room and comforable seating, though a little thin. I can hold water bottle at my right side within reach. Hasstle free entry and exit from front and rear seats for tall persons. Smart cool Glove box!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is really smooth. Gear shifting is smooth like butter and hasstle-free. Fuel economy not yet checked as just finishing the first filling and present running is around 250 kms. Will do get back again on this.
Ride Quality & Handling Drive-ability is very very nice. Turn and curves are very smooth. Freely moving power stearing.
Final Words Best sedan in the market that one can settle down with if comparing other available choices in this class. Do not expect luxury features within the current price tag. It is not meant for those who expect top luxury features. Provides required and essential tools and accessories.
Areas of improvement Interior quality of plastic must be improved to get more rich looks. Toyota should think of providing a dead pedal at left leg side. Doors require extra push to close, feel little heavy. Do not know if the size really matters for it.

Hi guys, this is my two months ownership review of Etios Sedan VX model (petrol). So far I have driven about 1700 km and overall I am quite satisfied till now. Ive finally taken the time out to write it, hope it helps.
Exterior Quite pleasant to look at from most angles, except the back which I feel is under-designed. Admittedly not as stylish as the current Honda City or new Verna, but definietely a decent looking car, far better than Swift Dzire or even SX4 and Vento. Actually it falls within Toyota's comfort zone fo safe looking vehicles, not radical or very stylish but nothing really to complain about either. Colors are also nice. I jad no trouble getting used to it, unlike Dzire which, even after all these years, looks like an overgrown box to me. Another thing I like is that the rear end does not protude too much, which makes reversing and parking very easy.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Positives - The space inside is just superb, especially in the rear seat. Even at a height of six foot one inch I can sit very very comfortably in the rear seat, with the drivers seat pushed fully back. Seating three people in the rear is a breeze. Boot space is awesome. Seats are fairly comfortable and the AC is incredibly effective. Drivers position is very good, with an excellent road view and very good rear view also. AC vents are very well placed, they are effective in cooling the rear quite well. Essential safety features are present so thats good.
Cons - Some features are missing, like electronically adjusted ORVM, and rear seat overhead light. Also, interiors plastics quality is somewhat below par, though putting in the wooden dash does make it look brighter and better. Toyota could also have provided two speakers at the rear, instead of all four in the front. But these are things I have got used to, I can ignore it at this price point. Overall a very decent package for a family sedan.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Positives - Good strong engine, feels very reliable and consistent, good power. Toyota seems to be living up to its reputation here. Of course not as zippy as some other cars, but quite good especially for city driving. Pick up is decent, and it cruises very well. Gears are very smooth and easy to change. Cons - There is definitely some engine noise while starting the car and at low speeds. Dont know why this happens, but I was told at the service station that it happens in all Etios cars so not unique to mine. Also, there is definitely some vibration felt in the cabin when the engine is turned on and car is idling, eg. at red lights. This was quite pronounced before the first service. I complained about it and they told me there is some circular from Toyota on this issue and engine RPMs will be adjusted to deal with it. After service it is definitely less noticeable but still there. Again I am told this is common to all Etios cars. Surprising, really, why this should happen. However, vibration is mostly in the cabin frame, and does not come through the gear shaft or steering wheel.
Fuel economy is not as great as claimed. Average is between 11 and 12. The best I have managed in Delhi (after first service) is around 12.5 kmpl (with AC), which is all right for an engine of this size but I feel could have been better. Maybe in winter, without AC it will be better still. Havent taken it on a long highway drive yet so cannot comment on that.
Ride Quality & Handling Steering is very light and very easy in traffic. Drive feels mostly butter smooth and effortless. Long drives are a pleasure, and heavy traffic also is not an issue. For example, I spent two hours in rain hit traffic in Delhi, just crawling and repeatedly engaging clutch and break, but hardly felt tired when I finally got out of the car. Definitely a very good car to drive. It negotiates pot holes and speedbreakers quite decently.
Final Words A very good value for money package. For this price point, definitely a good buy. I am quite satisfied overall.
Areas of improvement Listed above. For this price point I cant think of much else.

I took the Etios for a long drive from Cochin - Bangalore through long stretch highways and heavy traffic in bangalore. I find Etios as a decent sedan car at low price, but with lot of improvement areas still left.
Exterior I found the Etios styling quite unique and decent for sedan class at this price. full marks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It scores very high on interior space and luggage room. back seat can easily accommodate 3 people and there is enough leg room left even if the front seats are pulled back, thanks to Toyota's new seats which are much thinner, but comfortable as well. I didn't find the head rest very comfortable, the headrest is not separate and is part of the seat. So there is no adjustment possible and my neck started paining after couple of hours. Interiors look very plasticy and is a common concern, controls are very basic as well. A/C is quite good and have very good vents with good air flow. The reverse sensors are quite helpful while reversing.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is almost upto the mark. Many reviews suggest that it is a city car, but I found it less torquey in cities and always had to push one gear down at low speeds. I enjoyed driving in highways though. I got an average of 13.5 with A/C which included city driving and highways and rough patches.
Ride Quality & Handling Here is where I had major concerns. THe ride is quite comfortable, but even with 170mm ground clearance, Etios touched ground on many humps and some potholes at very very low speeds. At the same time I saw other peer cars like Honda city, Fiesta, etc pass the same hump without any trouble. I had problems with visibilty, especially during rain and nights. the single wiper doesn't stand up to the job quite well. I don't know if there was a problem with focusing, I can tell you only after next service, but the head lights were not bright enough for sure like other cars.
Final Words Amazing package at amazing price, but I won't buy it and wait for improvements to happen.

I booked and got my car on the date as offered by the dealer; the car looks elegant by all standards;all colors are attractive. the interiors can be improved, so i opted for leather seat covers. the engine is bit noisy but powerful; easy to handle in crowded narrow roads;rear sensors are a must for parking and reverse.AC is quite good and does not compromise on power !the rear cabin is more spacious than its peers and the boot space is large.aspects which need improvement without cost cutting are: two wipers in front; two reversing lamps insted of one and fully lowered rear windows .
The company called up many times before and ALSO after the purchase! these points were conveyed to the representatives; apparently the users have alredy shared simimlar feed back.the tatse of the pudding is or will be eating it after the HONEY MOON period is over ! so guys go ahead and drive one !

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space even better than luxury sedans.seat comfot is average, u need to hav new seat covers.interiors can be made better by application of some acessories.it has 590 ltr of bootspace where as dzire has 300 ltr so in terms of space it is equal to cruze,corolla.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its a delight in heavy traffic.gearbox is smooth and short.
Ride Quality & Handling Nice. Steeing is really gud.road visibility is also gud.
Final Words Best diesel sedan in 7 lakh .no question.but u hav to do some compromises with interiors.low maintenance cost will really cheer u up. if u r buying a diesel nd really want low maintenance and high utility .this is the car for u.it does not make u feel rich while sitting inside but will definately make u happy because of its utility.

Exterior It is a right toyota calss design but back side view is not good other toyata cars that is the same veiw of logan.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Boot space is very good and glove box boot space and luggege space is very good, but dash board is not good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Super engine , power , gear box and fuel efficiancy I have purcahsed my ETIS GD SP on 2011 nov now the 1 st service is done I drive more than 10500 km in this peried, I feel only one problem that is in suspention rear and front drive in a gutter road I feel very sure body chassis or some other metel part will be touch ground this is the main deffect I feel in my car I got 18 to 19 KM in long drive with A/C in city drive 17.5 KM engine powver and bracking handling is very good this is my first toyota car I used all cars are maruti I think toyota improve the deffects in future.
Ride Quality & Handling Suspention is not good.

The car has impressive look over all but for the rear end where it looks like a box.The paint could have been metallic and colours more appealing.

the driver and the passanger cabins are very spacious and comfortable; the adjustable steering does not make much difference. the rear windows go down only partially and the single wiper is a mistry ; its arc does not clean the full wind screen.

the car has problem with slow running and needs to be revved up in low gear.AC is good and so is pick up. handling is smooth and easy, even in city conditions.fuel economy is good; the gear shift could have been better.the engine noise is audible till you get used to it.

the car is easy to drive.the blind spots on the passanger side is a little problem and so is the slow running which requires frequent use of clutch;
