Good comfort Car from TATA for family

Exterior Projector head lamps & DRLs gives premium looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) HARMAN music system is  awesome with 4 speakers & 4 tweeters. Lack of space for bottles , phones etc. Tata should really made some changes to door pockets to accomodate the 1Ltr bottles. Seats are very good. 3 people can travel in rear seat for a long drive without any problem. They should have given one more interior light at the center or near the rear seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pickup from 0 to 70KMPH speed looks OK(<20sec with city mode). But it really lags in 5th gear. it will take more time to reach 100 if the road is slightly up hill. Fuel economy in highway is ok. (I have completed 3500 Kms in 4 months and 1st service also done) getting 15-16KMPL on highways & 10-11KMPL in city.

Gear box shifting is ok. Not so good for 5th & reverse gears. As the gear rod has smooth handle some times it will slip from the hand while moving to 5th gear or reverse gear.

Ride Quality & Handling Upto 120 speed on a plain road & small turnings feels comfortable. But on the humps & large turnings @ >90 KMPH feels lack of control.

Driving in night is littile difficult due to poor head lamps. Even after turning high beam the full road is not visible & the straight road also visible hardly 150mts.

Final Words If we look for seating comfort in 8L ragne its very good car.

Areas of improvement Pickup needs to improve in 5th gear, Head liht with high beam in highway is not visible whole road and atleast 200mts.
