One of the bast cars by an Indian carmaker

Hi Guys, This is my first review for any car although i have driven and owned many of them. Any this car is worth writing a review for. To begin with , an Indian car getting a 5 Star rating in itself is an achievement in itself as we all know how compromised safety standards in India are (or used to be). My first motivator towards buying the car was the safety rating along with the looks. This car looks very much the part. In fact , it looks almost ahead of its time and way ahead of its competition in its style and pep. Full marks to TATA for coming up with such an awesome design. Coming to the performance , the petrol version is smooth to ride , the cabin space is ample and sound system quite good. Not going into the technical specs as i am not very much well versed with them but the overall feel of the car is pretty good and you would never regret buying it. Some teething issues however remain. The TATA dealership staff is still old school and modern cars like NEXON and HARRIER deserve better front office staff. The plastic quality in the Nexon in some places feels a little sub-standard. My car makes a nagging sound while running due to some fitting issues of the roof mat. I have to adjust the mat by had while running to get rid of the noise. The fuel economy is barely 10KMPL for petrol so that remains an issue. Overall though , the car deserves a lot of applause as its value-for-money quotient and makes you feel good as a MAKE-IN-INDIA product. Surely the way to go for Indian carmakers. One of the best things that make you happy is that its a homegrown product. A big thumbs up to TATA for that.
