Areas of improvement I bought my Tata Nano from Tayal Moters Faridabad. The car was sent for servicing on the 22 May 2012. After that i kept inquiring about the satus of my car but did not get a single response from them. On 27 May 2012 i went to the workshop and asked them about the status of my car. I was informed that the car is ready and can be collected in 30 mins at about 11 AM. however the car was not ready till 5 PM then when I again went to the service department I was told that the car would be ready shortly. The car was finally lined up for delivery at about 6 45 PM. At this stage the electrician appeared from nowhere and announced that the car cannot go since there is no battery in the car. It is presently running on some ther cars battery. the original battery of my car has been put on charging just about two hous ago. The car was handed over to me with a promise that my battery will be replaced at my residence the next day. I drove out of the workshop and to my utter horror I found that the charging function was not functional. I drove to a local mechanic who told me that the the belt of alternator was missing. The incident was informed to the manager of tayal moters, whoi have just expressed there surprise and kept silent. my experience with Tayal moters has been equally sad all the three times when the car has gone to tayal moters for service or repair.
I recommend that strict action be initiated against the defaulters.
