Exterior:- look like a toy car, very beautiful (my son's dream car), small but attractive.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):- great features, space is like royal cars with good comfort, but rear seat should be little slide (but this car has great space as per other small cars as i have driven Hyundai accent) nice staring, no parking and reversing problem. fit every where even though in a very small place. Still attractive in Delhi as well as the entire city where I have driven this car by me.
when i bought this car, everyone in my colony came to see specially this car. I was feeling like I m greater then a king. People were asking every possible thing about the car and I was feeling proud by telling them the quality of the car. I will say thank you Mr. TATA. You made a very normal Indian's dream come true. Planning to buy one more... :-)

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:- till now (5th month) its smooth, nice no problem but service issue is coming in this car. Fuel economy is 20 right now as I drive this car only for my kids school which is 5 km away from my house but take this car in parties.. Gearbox is cool. but light is little tuff. When I want to drive this car at night in high beam then it doesn't work. May be some problem.... rest valuable car for me
Ride Quality & Handling: Ride is very good as it has a great space, very comfort. Handling is also cool right now.
Final Words:- A hope, which Mr. TATA made it come true to have a car for all Indians.
Areas of improvement:- power string and keep all four tyres same.

Exterior Excellent and aerodynamic has an eyscatching appeal. Can be easily identified in public and it is a heart throb among small kids.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Has all the trappings of a regular hatch featurewise, Superb space can easily seat 5 adults in comfort, excelent head room and leg room and tall boy feature for easy ingress and egress.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Has excellent pickup fun to drive and fuel economy is approx 20 K.M. +/- 10% can be achieved on 4th gear, with good driving skills better milage can also be achieved. Gearbox shift smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Very safe and has excellent handling even at very high speeds which I have personally experienced definitely better than the competition superb airconditioning suitable for long drives without any hassels as the cabin is spacious enough for five adults.
Final Words Excellent effort on the part of TATA for creating a truely PEOPLES CAR as far as India is concerned. Achieved costing in terms of affordability what even the worlds heavy weights could not.
Areas of improvement Engine Noise, Tyre dimensions standardisation, better access to engine bay.

I bought my Nano in February 2011 and have compeleted 8000 Kms. Which include a single long drive of 1500 Km in three days from Bangalore ---Rameshwaram---Paundicherry---Bangalore.
The car is excellent in leg rrom, fuel efficiency and over all performance. Lot of people demorlized me while buying it and even today they say lot many things about it, but it is nothing but just and envy what people have.
I know this i the beginning for NANO and down the line few more years it will improve. Hats off to Tata's for bringing in such a wonder on indian roads..
Guys do not listen to people who say bad about it, just by it, and you will never repent on your purchase. Just drive it once and you gonna love it. Oh yes it is not a luxury car and drive it safely.
regarding quality and safety: ehich car gives you gurranty that after an accident you will be alive..i dont think any gives that..We have seen people dying after accidents in high end cars..Your safety is in your hand does not matter which car you are riding.
NANO is a must buy product from TATA's...I am waiting for Its diesel version to be launched so that can buy for my spouse.

Exterior Stylish, quite modern, in comparison with competitors like 800, Alto.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious, can put some of the sedans to shame.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel peromace is quite good, gearbox could have been 5, but 4 makes it easier in city driving conditions.
Ride Quality & Handling Great ground clearance, handling in traffic easy.
Final Words The longest drive I have gone in the car is 100 kms (2 sides). Even with the air con on, the acceleration doesn’t drop much.. and the air con is quite chilling even at ‘1’.
Nano, to be honest, drives like any other car. I have driven Santro, Alto, Swift and i10. Yes, it is a lil less powerful than others but boy-o-boy, in traffic, this car can get you ahead of all other biggies, hehe ;- ). Even on highways, it runs as smooth as other cars.
Areas of improvement Tata needs to seriously do some home work over the marketing of this gem! Happy Miles with Smiles :-)

I don't believe on the internet reviews about a product. But my tata nano makes me write down some words about it.
Exterior
Most of the people hate nano's exterior. But, for me, I never worried about the exterior look and I really want a car to protect my family from dust & rain. Although it is like a toy car, its looks is good enough to me.
It comes with tubeless tyres which is good in city.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
I should say much about nano's interior. I never have this much space & comfort in this segment cars. Hope, It has lots of space in it. If you are taller or if you want to drive with elder people, nano is the best option than any other car under 5 lacks.
I picked nano awesome dazzle blue color LX model. It only comes with black interior which gives a rich feel. The AC is really awesome. You can carry two luggage bags beyond the back seat.
I drove many cars in my hometown (it's like a village), but still I have a problem in judging the car position in road. But in nano, the seating position is perfect and the road view is visible well. You can predict your car's position very well.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Obviously, you should not compare nano's performance with other cars. It has very small engine and hope, this will perform well more than you expect. I had taken my nano for a long trip. I drove nearly 1700 kms and I does not see any problem in it. It can reach maximum of 105 km/h which is more enough in city. The pickup is very good and you can not tell there is any lack in it. If you does not believe yet, just go for a test drive.
In highways it gives nearly 23-24 km/l, while in city traffic it gives nearly 20-21 km/l. The suspension is fair. Gear shifting is very easy even though it was not so smooth. My nano does not have the power steering. The use of power steering is needed under 30km/h speed. But I dont see any problems with this responsive normal steering.
Ride Quality & Handling
As I said earlier, the ride quality is so good. There is no uncomfort in it. Handling is much more easier than any other car. I normally drove car in 70-80km speed. Even though other cars may overtakes me easily in traffic-less , I always win the race finally because, in traffic or in signal, I can overtake the others easily.
Final Words
If you really need a economical car which should not compromise all the features, just go for nano. It has superb AC, front power windows, central locking system, a very good in-built 4 speakers, bluetooth connectivity, good fuel efficiency.
If you are a learner, and feel afraid about driving, just go for nano. Believe me, its very very easy to drive in city traffic. If you also have situation to carry old peoples, please go for nano. My mom & dad feels very comfort with this car.
If you planned to buy it for a girl/women, buy nano twist. It has power steering which can makes it more easy to drive. Or, just wait for few months. Tata planning to fix clutchless gearbox in nano.
Most of the people worried about nano's safety feature. Yes, you are right. The safety level is very much low. But remember, the same rule is applicable for other small size cars. If you really want to be safe, go for SUV's. Even SUV's can kill you if you have bad time. Its all depends on your driving skills. For city, Nano have enough safety.
You may worried about the resale value of nano. Instead of thinking, just write down your plan in a paper. If you will buy other car, you should atleast spend more than 1.2 lacks than nano's top end model. If you spend this 1.2 lacks for fuel, you can run nano for years!! Let us assume you will sell the car after 4-5 years. You should calculate both cars(nano & another car that is in your list) fuel efficiency, insurance amount (tata provides 3 yrs insurance free with first year payment), maintanance (nano comes with 4 yrs warrenty), accessories price in case of any damage (nano's parts are very very cheap compared with other cars). The final amount will make to judge well. This is just from my experience.
Areas of improvement
- The look. When hearing the word "Nano", everyone is saying it is like an auto. Even though it was not, the exterior should need some change.
- Currently some of the colors only have black color interior. All the colors should come with an optional interior color.
- Brake. Even the current drum brake is ok, I expect disc brake as an optional for better safety.
- Airbags. A must optional thing needed.
- The engine vibration is not hearable within the cabin. But it should be minimized even in the outside.
- Smooth clutch and smooth suspension. I think nano twist comes with independent 4 wheel suspension. But I missed :(

I recently got the Nano Twist in Damson Purple. It turns heads wherever it goes. Its small size helps a lot in getting out of bad traffic with so much ease. It looks smart and anyone will look good driving a Nano in one of the bright colours.
Interior of the new Nano is pretty good. The beige coloured trims go well with the purple colour. My friends were surprised to see that there is so much space inside the car that 4 people can sit in great comfort. This little car is packed with cool features like 4 spearker-audio system that can play music from a CD, USB drive, Bluetooth, Aux-in and radio. The stereo can connect with android and apple devices and receive and place calls as well. The speaker quality is much better than what I found on my previous Tata vehicle. The AC works just great and cools down the car in very little time. You also get key-less entry which makes getting in and out pretty quick. The quality of materials used in the car are nothing to complain about. The dash has a new instrument cluster that now shows DTE and AFE which is a boon if you want to control your driving and squeeze the best milleage out of the engine. The instrument cluster has a new layout and looks upmarket. The best feature of the Nano Twist is of course the Electric Power Steering which is just butter-smooth and provides good road feedback at the same time.
The engine is the tiniest of all the cars out in the market today but, don't go by its size. This little power plant generates enough BHPs and NMs to get you going on any kind of terrain. You will be surprised to see how easily this car overtakes other vehicles and keeps making its way out of the traffic. On an open raod you can take this car upto 105 kmph which is quite impressing in my opinion. The ABC pedals are placed appropriately and are weighted properly for easy driving. The only improvement Tata can bring in this car is in shifting gears which at times feels a bit hard but, it's nothing worth worrying about. The gear ratios are widely spread and you don't have to up-shift and down-shift much while driving in the city.
I remember very well the sales guy telling me that Nano will initially give around 14 to 16 kmpl and once it clocks 1000 km the AFE will be anywhere close to 20 kmpl. I was surprised to see that just after doing 200 km my car had started giving me an AFE of 20 kmpl in the city and that too with the AC on!
There are some noticeable improvements in the NVH levels in the new Nano Twist. You won't hear much of the clatter from the engine now. The car is as silent as it can get. The steering wheel has a good diameter and feels good to be held. The power assistance to the steering makes the car all the more nimble and more suitable for driving in the city. The suspensions smooth out bumps and pot holes better than the previous versions and Nano with the Twist now feels more like a car and less like a go-kart. However, the car was always fun to drive.
Last year I was going to buy Figo Diesel but for some reason had to chuck the plan. I was longing for a 4-wheeler but wanted something for a very little amount of money. Nano Twist seems like the best option for anyone who is interested in buying a small car that is bang for the buck. Nano Twist is a complete car and you can't ask for more for what you pay.
Please do not compare this car with any other car in the market. This car is in a league of its own. Just drive it to know what I am talking about here.
Areas of improvement Gear shifting can be made smoother. Tata instead of coming with a diesel version of Nano should think about simply adding a turbo charger to the ongoing petrol version.

recently went in for servicing my new nano twist xt, feb14, model, it had no problems only wanted a fre cleaning .. after the service , the engine ,which was doing very good , now stalls and the 1st gear seems to wheez and suffocate for a while before recovering... these people are crooks... just get a cars wash outside for the same amount and also all other things like under coat for anti rust etc., if you go to them they will take out all the good stuff and load it with junk from their yard...nano is completely assembled and all the parts they say are new are already rusted and coated over,, they didnt even look at the rust on my tank when they did the under coat... and was shabbyly done for 1100,, outside it is done for ra.900...think about it.

I am using Merc / Audi / BMW vehicles.
Truly I am not eligible to write a comment here, as I don't owe a TATA-Nano car. I have just seen the vehicle in photos. The look is graceful.
Telco, being technically & financially strong company (which can buy Jag... & other co.), which is also socially committed shall have made this vehicle on battery power; instead of Petrol / Diesel.
As the price is low, so but naturally lots of these vehicles will be on road. They are going to emit tons of carbon... what about environmental impact due to emission, which is indirectly going to affect the society.
Therefore, I say TATA should have thought one step ahead to make this car eco & society friendly by making it electrically operated (battery operated). Then, the acceptance of this vehicle is cross-sectional in the society.
