Exterior Good.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Plastic quality is poor, seating is comfortable, good ac.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance good even with six adult , gear box smooth, excellent fuel economy.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable, handling is smooth very responsive steering.

 

Final Words Good car but need some improvement, no more price hike any further price hike nano looses its apeel. not satisfied with rear shocker, rear bumper must be made alot stronger, at present at the best it is pathetic. plastic quality is always poor on tata products. nano is good product at the current price alto is certainly a better product than nao further narrowing gap between alto and nano will cetainly strenghthen alto case. seating space is very good. nano pick up is good with first gear but power drops at third gear at slightly lower speed. seat belt is bit short for pot bellied person.

 

Areas of improvement Bumper at the back should be stronger, starting sound must sound like car not like three wheeler, driver seat is bit too high for lady driver , storage spce should be added and absolutly must is mobile charger.

 

gear box good,excellent fuel economy, efficient ac, execellent space infact a big surprisestarting sound is very annoying, sounds like a three wheeler, no storage space on the dash board

 

 

Per se I am satisfied with the Nano car!I bought Nano on 06.03.2011 from Tayal Motors FBD. But they delivered me a car of November 2010.

It is quite a distance for a small car. As I intended to see the places and had lot of time NANO was a good tool for the intentions. I stared from Pantnagar and first stay was  Delhi,met quite a few old friends at IARI , NFL, TATA Chemicals etc. Next I stopped at Jaipur and visited Amer Fort,Hawa mahal and some local landmarks.Road from Delhi to Jaipur is very good and itwas pleasure to drive. From Jaipur I moved to Udaipur and visited city palace etc. Next day we travelled to VASAD  to ANAND via Ahamadabad.From Vasad we moved to Mumbai. The roads all through the trip were excellent.

I am all praise for the road conditions and the facilities on roadside all through the jouney.NANO performed extremely faithful .The little machine did not show any sign of fatigue. It covered 1897 Km. in 75.56 Lt of petrol giving an average of 25.10 Km/Lt.

I love driving this car in city. This is my 2nd car and I use for daily office commute. After seeing its mileage i stopped using my 1st car (which gives 9kmpl) to roam in city. Its very spacious inside, 5 people can sit without any congestion. Its AC is really good, with AC I am getting 20 kmpl.

I recommend this car as TRUE city car for 4 reasons.... (1) Excellent AC,  (2) Excellent mileage, (3) Good road clearance,  (4) Very less turning radius.

One major problem with this car is "steering". No model in this car has power steering, I really need to struggle while doing reverse parking.  Other minor concerns are.... quality of seats are really bad, fuel tank capacity is very less (just 15 ltrs).

For long drives also its good car because of one good reason... “SPEED”. Since it is small car we drive slowly (80 to 90). It gave more than 21kmpl millage on high ways. I drove around 1200kms outside city.

Spacious, excellent mileage, AC, easy to drive,less turning radius,good road clearance for city rardNo power steering, bad quality seats, may not good for long drives.

HI! My Ajay Negi and from delhi.

I purchased my Tata Nano Lx Special Edition on Feb, 2013. Nano is my first car and before this i was only having a bike and skooty. 

I booked a maruti alto 800, with cng version total cost was of around 4.95 lac for 5 year.

 

then nano's december edition came with lots of features. then i changed my for nano. and purchased nano. now i beleive it was a wise decision.

i drove it for 15000 kilometres and running gud without any proplem.

Overall car is very good. I took my car twice to hills in Uttrakhand( Sri Badrinath Dham and Pauri). Supered performance. only what i feel that suspensions are weak. I lost my driving wheel alignment due to "big ghadhes" on the uttrakhand roads.

 

Milege is somehow low... it gives me only 22 km/h on highways without ac. with ac engine power is very good.

 

I have a great problem with service center people they are very careless and dishonest. Please do not purchase from Him Motors, Piragarhi, Delhi.

 

one more thing i wish to add. nano's body is very light and easily dentable. same problems with front and read bumper.

Hi friends, I am writing a short review on Tata Nano

I Buyed my nano LX 2014 in 270000/- I opted for mudflap, floor mats, car cover and seat cover as accessories which came upto Rs.4012.

I drove my nano for the first time as my whole family was surprised and excited by the large interior space inside the cabin. but my people could not resist commenting on the pud pud sound of the engine which was little more for a car engine.

The first gear gave great pull and so was the second gear. since i was driving nano for the first time i took time to analyse how the car behaved on bad roads, turnings and all. The steering felt heavy in parking and low speed turning but considering the cost of the car i ignored this.

I enjoyed the spacious cabin and toy like instruments at the centre. There is not much problem with manoeuvrability. the back seat people did not complain on any heat coming from engine as we put AC and it chilled all of us very quickly than we expected. If we closed all the windows, the engine noise is not heard. 

Suspension is average and i must be careful in crossing road patches and speed brakers. 

In the back seat, 2 bulky adults and one average adult can sit. but luggage has to be kept on lap, the boot can be accessed with some difficulty, so we prefer to keep the bags on our lap.

many people saw us when we drove the nano and i felt people are still crazy about the small car. a few of them asked about the mileage. although i did not calculate, may be some 20 kmpl will be the average.

At night the highbeam and fog lamps provide brighter light for a small car and we were delighted. Tata has not compromised in lights and electronics. useful document reader lamp is found above the front seats in the middle.

Overall , my family loves Nano!!!

Well i became the loyal customer with this company in October,2013, at last i feel it was my wrong decision i took it was better i could have gone for maruti suzuki.

reason behind it is the dealer in Dehradun...Hands up to oberoi motors for providing as usual bad services,,,,

Mr. Vipul service advisor-This perzson is always after the customer to pay for even a service which could have been covered in warranty.

I have always given my car to tata only for service and very normal some accessories like sony music player i have installed from outside for which this showroom has permit me to do so.

these outside connections  were given without touching the company main wiring still they say things can't be covered in warranty.

I must tell you about one more person Mr. Chauhan who plays awesome politics with customers,my complains he has never got them rectified he has refused and more often he only gives fake promises.

But ofcourse you can trust some people like Mr. ashish service GM, Mr. Sanjeev wadia, Vikash who is young champ from Tata company.

I feel now that more i would only trust Maruti car and would ask everyone to go for other brand, also i might continue for tata but not through tata motors.

I drive around 600+ km in a day amazing no tension but some suspension problem and blind spot at right side is dangerous for sharp ghat turnings. I buy it for only 35k as second hand used I driven around 15k in 6months with no defects and very good worth for money, milage super and for small distance commuter is nice and handy I suggest nano is the better than hatch back in his segment.

Good option between car and bike if you are planning to purchase a car in lower budget then this might one of the option in your list. Low maintenance costs cover low amount of space.
