Exterior Looks better when veiwed from side,rear design is little bit odd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dash board design is impressive, beige colour plastic is of high quality and soft to touch,superb back seat,hosts of features,nice looking instrument cluster.nice sound insulation.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.4 liter fire engine is superb very low nvh levels(though engine is clocked 18000+kms, in idling even the water kept in glass never vibrates) but it is little bit noisy out side,well tuned gear box,iam getting 13.5 kms per liter in highways with ac.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very nice, better suspension set up, but the rear dampers make crashing noise when it damped in sharp patholes in speed above 50 kms,the hydraullic power steering feels little bit heavy in urban traffic,cars large body panel maks it little bit unsettle when got hit by side winds in tripple digit speeds.
Final Words I am saying this with my experience of driven manza about 18000+ kms since one year,i mostly drove her in bad roads of karnataka not even single rattaling is audible(as mentioned above only suspension noise),my car didnt got any fault.totaly manza is well built product for indian roads.
Areas of improvement Rear design must be improved, sedan style door should be added to rear doors which is still in hatch back design of vista, plastic quality in some areas must be improved ya it is improved in new versions,pannel gaps ,fit and finish should be refined.

Space is excellent. Comfortable enough for a hatchback person like me.
Plastic quality is very poor. This is the only sedan with the maximum space.

Good fuel economy for a sedan. I used to get 17-20kmpl on highway and 12-13 in city with heavy traffic with 100% AC.

Good in handling. Not as peppy as Swift hatchback though it has the same engine.
Final Words
After researching for almost a year, and waiting for a Swift hatchback for 4 months I finally bought a 3 month old TATA Manza quadrajet elan inspite of knowing the well-known niggles with TATA manza.
I have done more than 3 visits to the service station in 3 months for electrical issues. If you are okay with the frequent visit to service station do go for a MANZA, it is a sedan at a descent cost. Good value for money.

The car is hugely underpowered. Can feel this with maximum passengers or driving uphill. Have been getting an ave of 16 with diesel in the city. Driven around 20k mostly in city
Ride Quality & Handling
There is a noise from under the bonnet while crossing speed breakers. Heard from others that this problem is with all the Manza's. The DIS went blank within 15 days. Was replaced after more than 6 months since it was not available. Lots of other plastic parts are broken during normal wear & tear. Had gone for the Manza since the seating position was extremely comfortable as if almost riding an SUV.
Final Words
The delarship was pathetic. They were least interested in selling the product & went back on commitments, as well. Received calls from their customer service (Pune) They were calling for feeedback just as a formality. The service centre was also bad. Never had good impression about the Tata's from an automobile persepctive. Thought they must have improved. Will never purchase a TATA car again. They need to work extremely hard on the quality of parts used, dealerships, people placed at the dealership & overall customer experience.

I bought a Manza Quadrajet ABS in February 2010 (DL 8CM XXXX). This Car is worthless and is a piece of junk, and I intend to dispose it off very soon. Any body and everybody, who is intending to buy a TATA Car, specifically a TATA Manza can write to me at XXXXXXXX@yahoo.com and I can share the photographic evidence of the car parts gone kaput (including the rusted parts), beginning shortly afterward the purchase till very recently, and which I shared with the customer care of TATA Motors, but without any relief. I can also share the letters written to TATA Motors' MD, Mr. Carl Slym with a copy marked to Mr. Cyrus Mistry (who took over the reins of TATA Motors from Mr. Ratan Tata) with all the details, and how their workshops did more harm than good to the Car, but still they are not interested in getting the various issues resolved.
To Hell with TATA Cars. Whosoever buys TATA Cars, may do so at his own peril.

Exterior: Looks like a very average sedan, no one can guess the space and comfort by having a look from outside. Fantastic headlamps, ground clearance, chrome lined grills and boot. intelligently placed side indicators. Finishing on some exterior parts is not smooth and could have been improved.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Dual tone impressive interiors, cabin noise is very less, infact once you roll up the power windows you won't feel there's a world outside, cabin space is incomparable and leaves dzire, vento, amaze, verito, sx4, etios and many other highly priced sedans way back, decent head and leg room. Handles the speed breakers, pot holes and craters on the road very nicely. Dash board does give a premium look but again finishing should be improved here and there inside. Has space for 6 speakers and 2 tweeters. adequate lighting options inside, magazine pockets in front doors, door open indicator, tray under the co-driver seat, rear center arm rest.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: It going to be an year and engine i still performing nicely, 90 ps is decent power to drive this vehicle even when fully loaded, turbo lag is very less in comparision to swift, swift dzire, verito, etios, etc. max speed I drove was 170 kmph and still felt the vehicle being stable, have achieved a fuel economy of 22 kmpl on highway at a continuous speed of 60-70 kmph with ac on, for city driving it ranges between 15-17 kmpl. Gearbox is smooth sedan like and shifts are never an issue.
Ride Quality & Handling: Goes very well on all kinds of roads without any hickups. rides very smoothly over the bumps, suspension limits jerks to a great extent while driving through pot holes or damaged roads. 90 ps of power takes the vehicle very nicely in all sorts of terrain, ride quality feels like a real sedan and it just FLOATS on smooth roads. Very low on maintenance and due to the TATA service network you will find their service centers in all big/small towns across the country, infact i got my first service done in Thiruvananthpuram despite the fact that i purchased it in Bangalore.
Final Words: Best sedan in this range in terms of performance, comfort, mileage and price
Areas of improvement: Exterior and interior finishing needs to be improved, cosmetic changes should be made to make it more attractive to buyers as people go more for the looks than performance.

Exterior Neat and appealing and Black ORVM and Handle cause little cause of complaint as there is a indicator in all variants. I have base Aqua Saffire BS-IV(BS4 Badging there).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior tough and airy, Sporty. Features front Power Windows,Blue5 2 Din Audio CD MP3 Player,Steering Audio controls,Power Steering with Rake Adjustment,Seat Height Adjust and Rear Armrest with CupHolders and Rear Headrests.High Equipment list but if you Want even MORE,go for Aura variant. It has 460 litres boot,bigger than Swift Dzire 's 440 litres,Verna 's 352 litres and Fiesta 's 430 litres but smaller than Logan 's 510 litres,Linea 's 500 litres and Etios' 595 litres. It is more Comfortable than Others.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 90PS Fiat Linea engine powerful but Sluggish. IT has good FE, atleast 18.01 kpl in City,22.4 Kpl at HighWay. The Gear is light and easy to use and Slick.

Final Words Go for It, But For Even Higher Features,go for Aura model of Manza Petrol or Diesel.My Aqua Gold Manza is Great.
Areas of improvement Engine not best in class. The K-Series Dzire Lxi and even City E 's 1.5 i-Vtec engines are better.

Tata Manza is worst Car and the dealers & After Sales Support is hopeless and absolutely dissapointing. The Car gives noise when running on AC. Hissing noise as if I am driving a Snake. AC went bust after 4 months, completely burnt out. Tata's Service Center -RD Motors is keeping the Car for over 10 days now - not replacing the Car AC.
DECIDE FOR YOURSELF DO YOU WANT TO BUY A TATA CAR. I HAVE DONE A BLUNDER HOPE NOBODY ELSE DOES. DONT GET CHEATED FROM TATA MOTORS.

Owner of TATA Manza Aura Quadrajet Car, Personally experienced regarding Engine performance-fual economy is very good, Interior & driving comfort are good. but Engine is not so strong as TATA Name. Engine break down at 47,000kms only (before 50,000kms) after doing regular car servicing as well. Here Repair expenses were 45,000 rupees. my advice is that think twice before buying TATA Diesel Manaza car.

Exterior Looking better with aero dynamic front look and the front lamp design is unique.The front bannet cover butting may be improved, it gives a gap between the body and the bannet cover looking odd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great features like add on storage below co-driver seat, a small lap top storage with lock and key and also the lap top charger near the rear seat keep the work going with sheffor driven car, but the plastic moulds fitting below the steering area and fornt cup holder area needs to be improved, basically it should be flash free
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine perrformance is good so far, i have driven just over 500km. I am able to clock 13km/l while i drive in city. Gear box - shiftability issue when i try to shift frorm 4 to 5
Ride Quality & Handling Smoother suspension and no engine vibrations felt inside the cabin though it a diesel engine.
Final Words Great car, TATA needs to focus more on quality of interiror parts, all the plastics which are fitted inside should be of frree from flash.

Exterior The vehicle though doesn't look as stunning as a City or Fiesta, still has a decent outlook. The car looks huge. Anyday it gathers teh respect of a true sedan. The styling too is better compared to most of the cars in the segment. Lots of chrome on the rear and front grill adds to the looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features: There are oodles of features filled into the machine. It had DIS which is more or less accurate and helps provide instantaneus mileage,... which helps adjust the driving style. Seating is the best part of this vehicle. Even with the front seats set to their maximum adjustible position, there is ample leg room for the Passengers in the rear. I firmly believe that passenger comfort is of atmost priority as driver seats are anyways comfortable even in a small car like Alto. rear can comfortably seat 3 people and the armrest on the driver and front passenger seat is very comfortable. The Dash board looks neat and Blaupunkt stereo with bluetooth adds to the looks. The odo meter/tacho meter part of the dash is very informative. There are some really useful indicators of open door, ABS, seat belt alert,...The steerng mounted audio controls are also very handy but some times get accidentally operated while driving. The dual tone horns are pleasant and effective.
Other than the above mentioned features, one can find Front and rear Fog lamp, Rear and Front Defogger, 2 power outlets (front and rear), enlit vanity mirror and glove box.
The most interesting feature is a led lit key slot which assists in locating the key hole. The 4 personal lights with Theatre dimming is interesting too.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 95 PS engine does show some slackness at lower rpm(below 2000 rpms) but at higher rpm it does perform well. The car can easily touch 80 kmph in no time with the tachometer just reading 2500 rpms. I was advised the the service guys that at 2500 rpms the vehicle gives good mileage and better riding experience as well.
The mileage so far is better than most sedans its giving me 14.2 kmpl. in city conditions it gievs me a decent 12 kmpl and the same on highway being 16.5 kmpl. The top speed till date I have reached is 130kmph(I have learnt from my friend who owns a similiar vehicle of having reached 160kmph), even at those speeds the vehicle remains pretty stable and the engine remains as silent as ever.
Gearbox I can say is not as smooth as of Hyundai vehicles but nonethless is very comfortable. turn Infact I really enjoy having such a gearbox where you really feel the release from one gear and moving to the other.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling of the vehicle is decent I can say if not the best. The steering feels heavy, but for the vehicle of such size, it seems pretty obvious.
The vehciles suspension is very good and can handle all pot holes and humps with ease. It appears to be well desgined for indian roads. The ground clearance too is a decent 165mm which can overcome most of humps. The passengers seldom get to feel the impact of any of them.
The vehicle comes fitted with Disc brakes and ABS, which does a very good job of slowing down the vehicle quickly.
But, only thing I am concerned with is the handling in the high speed turns, one will feel the exposed to the G-force while taking a turn at high speeds.
Final Words I feel its a true value for money car. Its great car to drive and also be driven. Its a much better package than swift dzire which is a market leader in the class.
Areas of improvement Handling can be improved a bit better, specially when it comes to balance in high speed turns.
