Exterior In new Indigo eCS, they have given comaparative good looks and features for top end version.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Looking at price economy, TATA has given better Interior for this sedan.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Even though I have diesel engine, I found better performance.
Ride Quality & Handling Very much comfortable.
Final Words I got "Good Year" tyres for this new car from TATA; which are really poor. The tyre quality is so much poor that it gets punctured with a wooden thorn. Another limitation of tubeless tyres is side punctures. Becuase of poor side wall of tyres; my two tyres encountered side punctures. I have thrown away one of that tyres & using another by putting a tube in it. I complained about this to both TATA as well as Good Year..., but by Indian convetion .., post sale service sucks :( !

Hello,
I have driven this car for two months now and don't find any problems with the engine, though I found the engine a bit noisy from outside not like the swift diesel. Very good AC but the interiors are some thing which tata needs to come up with if they want to be competative in the rising market.
Tata cars have always let me down when it comes to styling.
Overall a good car for price concious people.

Exterior Stright front view is like Indica, which i din't like. Other all views are the best. Good feel of owning a big car at small car's price. Over all good exterior.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very confortable at diriving seat, co driver seat and 3 at rear seat. Sufficient dicky space. I have travelled many times with compelete lagguage of 4 for 2-3 days. Whatever a good car requires all is available.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good, smooth in petrol engine. Giving average of 14 kmpl, highways it is 16 kmpl and Pune-bangalore it give me 18kmpl. Over all good engine and gearbox perfomance.
Ride Quality & Handling Suspensions - I will complaint. Not very good. Rest is good, Night driving with all 4 lights on (incl fog lamps) is the best. I love to drive night. Recently i travelled 480 kms continuously, the ultimate experience.
Final Words At todays status i would recommend diesel than petrol. Because difference between petrol and diesel is only of 20k.
Best deal = value for money.
Areas of improvement Suspension to be more smoother, company fitted LPG/CNG duo model should be available.
Over all good sedan, Pure value for money, Best on City and highway, Night driving is a best at thisDoes not fulfill high speed driving experience on expresshighways

Finally after a very long n detailed analysis, I finally bought Tata Indigo CS eLX, Sterlight Blue color on Feb 8. Excellent car as it fitted my budget of 6 lacs. My main priority was space in front n rear seat, as i'm 6-2 tall. So far has driven around 150km with the car. pretty happy with its performance so far. It has so far proved my decision to go for Tata car as right. I wont comment on mileage so far as i've been driving for practice, but had 5 ltr reserve whn purchased and filled in 23 ltrs (approx for Rs. 1000) so far completed around 150 kms n fuel meter is stillabove half. Ride quality is gud and especially above 3rd gear (60 kmph or above) u dont feel dat its a diesel car. Perfect Combination Tata Motors! Thank You for such a wonderful car.
Exterior It is a sleek, stylish car with rich features.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) U find everything factory fitted, except remote locking. Rear room is unmatched. Boot is also quite large.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent. U dont feel its a Diesel when in 3rd gear n above.
Ride Quality & Handling A bit stiff suspension, but overall pretty sturdy.
Final Words Excellent value for money and prefect car for a tall giraffe like me (i'm 6-2).
Areas of improvement Plastic quality of dashboard, placement of power window buttons and add cup n bottleholders.

Bought the GLS model 2 months back.
Pros
Very spacious, even more or equal to Honda City. The car looks good especially the boot. The Arctic silver color glows in the sunlight. A good value for money car.
Cons-
Considering its kerb weight, the car is quite underpowered.
The first gear does not take it above a speed of 10, 2nd gear can take it only till 20 and the 4th can be take it till a max of 40-50 kms. To reach a speed of 80-100 kms/hr, it requires more time then the other cars.( Had an experience wherein even the Alto has overtaken my car easily.)
Just wanted to verify on one point--- i have been reading user reviews regarding mileage for indgio cs petrol which say that the car gives 11-12 kms/ltr in city driving.
But during the last 2 months I have been able to get a max. mileage of 9.4 kms/ltr in Mumbai traffic with regular unleaded petrol.
So just wondering whether there is some fault with my car settings?

I have an Indigo 2009 model. Everything is good except this car is only designed for the highways. In city driving and bumper to bumper traffic this car usually vibrates a lot after getting heated up. I suspect this will become a problem once the car is 3 years old. Battery life is less 1.5 to 2 years maximum. Plastics could have been better. Otherwise a goodpackage and value for money car. Also the car is very sluggish for a start. Tata motors provides additional accessories free of cost like fog lamps and gear box so negotiation is important. I sometimes feel there should be a blower for the back seat passegers in summers. Each time you takethe car to the showroom you will run minimum Rs 5000 bill add to it the battery cost of 10K every 1.5 years. Dashboard plastics are very bad and my dashboard lock broke very first service.
Areas of improvement Engine Vibration and heating. Fuel Economy is very good - I get at least 15 without AC and with AC 12.

I just broght a Indgo CS GLX in Diwali.
It has give me 13 Kmp before first service with full A/c on.
Without A/c it has given me 14.75 Kmp.
Good value for money just waiting for the result after first service.

we have purchased the car two months ago and not taken it out for much longer runs....being petrol it doesn't have the loud sounds coming from the engine like the diesel versions.... the best thing abt this car is it's price and the service provided by tata... it matches to all other car manufacturers in india... the customer support is nice and i've had quite a nice time with the car (i had bruised it onced aganist a maruti and the body railing came off, they didn't charge an money to replace it as well as no labour charge..)
the only thing i didn't like were the interior fittings.... the whole dashboard and everything is biege, but the AC vents and some other small parts are black which makes it slightly bad looking...apart from it the interiors have already started to make some screeching sounds..
theres this much u can get in a 4and a half priced car.... u can put some additional stufs such as a music system and fake wood furnishings on the dashboard to make it look elegant..otherwise the car is a best buy in it's segment..
