Drawbacks:
1. Uselless front deskboard space, so very less front seats space.
2. Very low decky space.
3. Third class company fitted tyres - run only 40,000 to 45,000 km.
4. water on front glass during wippers working get reflections from side borders of front glass because of deep glass, hardly can see in heavy rain and/or water splash from near by truck or car.
5. low quality rubber gaskets on doors.
6. When driving in reverse gear one should hang out side the window, side windows are very high.
7. poor interiors.
8. mileage is from 16 to 19 km. depends on:
(1) no of persons.
(2) AC working and which season running.
(3) how much time past from last service.
(4) Air pressure.
(5) Maximum speed limit.
(6) how frequent braking and changing of gears.
Difficulties after purchase:
1 tyres immediately goes bad after 40,000 km.
2. clutch and pressure plates needs to be replaced at every 70,000 km.
3. Noise gets enlarged after 3,000 km of car gets serviced.
4. Suspension does problem at every 90,000 km.
5. Center key lock wear out at every 60,000 km.
6. All the bearings of alternator, AC, Idlers, Auto tesioner etc wear out and get jammed and needs to be replaced after every 1,00,000 km. & if jammed it may worsen the situation by braking other parts.
7. AC blower motor needs to be replaced at every 70,000 to 80,000 km.
8. Alternator, Auto tesioner, idler needs to overhauling and repair or replacement at every 90,000 km.
9. AC compressor need overhauling and repair at every 1,00,0000 km.
8. Power window starts working problamatic after 20,000 km and it needs service at every 20,000 km.
9. doors get loose and creates noise in closing operation after 80,000 km.
9. After all this company dealers and service centers get disinterested in performance and condition of your car, I have feeling that according to their internal policy they try to push your car towards other low grade authorized dealers and authorized repair and service garages.
10. company authorized service centers do very less before 1,00,000 km for you, when you actually need them they hands up.
like some doctors, when patient really needs 24x7 care they advice you to admit you to bigger hospital & when you are little ill they advice you to admit in his own hospital.
11. They only take feedback of their service but never act on it.
12. You can not get parts you needed from other sources, for that you have to give your car to the service centers only.
13. Most of all service centers do not keep parts that you wanted. they only keep parts that you don't. And they take 4 to 5 days for part become available to them by Tata Motors and they take other 3 to 5 days for repair.
