I own a quadrajet aqua. excellent car to drive. You feel like driving a BIG car because of the height of the car. entry and exit are very easy.
i purchased 3 months ago; almost completed 5000 kms.
no other word for economy, interior space.
But to tell,
I have a problem with the wiper, It wipes well if it is a good rain but it gives a scratching noise if it is drizzling.
the plastic is not of that quality but it can be compromised for the price.
The headlight can be adjusted but not to that extent.
The milage is around 16-17kmpl on an average.
Highways i got 21 kmpl. City drive around 15.5.
You can be sure of 15 kmpl on worst case.
All mileages are with AC. The best part of putting AC is, you will not feel that the engine is overloaded.
Overall i'm satisfied by the performance of the car. Fiat Engine is excellent.
Great pick-up and smooth drive.
I suggest you to go for this.

space, no doubt , is better than any other car in this segment.central console looks good but don't try to compare it with beat.plastic quality is so bad even santro has much much better plastic, but it works ,u ll get used to it.it wont bother u cos u r not going to chew it,isn't it so.in my safire LE edition they didn't provide usb port n aux.ac makes a lot of noise with blower ta full speed so keep it on 3rd speed rather.cooling is good enough.riding comfort is nice.better than i10 without doubt(same price tag)

engine is good slightly underpowered but good enough.milage- gives me 12.5 to 13 in city n 13.5 to 14 on highway with 30./. of the time ac was on, this is before 1st service, they say it will go upto 14 in city n 16 to 17 on highway after 2nd service when fuel will be changed n rightly it will happen as with other cars.wat more u want from 1172 cc engine with weight of 1075.i ve driven 1200 km so far in one month and idid a lot of research(almost six months before deciding on this , took test drive of all the cars available in market in this segment from 3.5 lac to 5 lacs, looked in to each aspect of car from performance to after sale service to resale to safty n price what ever u can think)speakers are ok not for loud sounds.back gear is not smooth.even at test drive it was not good but very bad.ok u can work with it.
Ride Quality & Handling
riding quality exellent, handling,---- maruti power steering works wiyh flick of your finger.but never the less its good enough.but wen u turn steering to extreme left or right it makes sound which i dont like --may be all other cars also make such noise.
Final Words
buy this car if u have family of five or six(u can accomodate if needed some time)features -- ful;ly loaded at this price tag.if they cud provide with ABS N AIR BAGS in top end model it will be boooom .
Areas of improvement
plastic mainly n ofcourse finishing at corners , not good TATA people if u r listening.make dash board flat so that u can use it to keep something. this one looks good but useless. u know what i am saying.

wheni bhought this car it was done after a research of 5 monthsand test drive of all the cars available in market in this segment(beat,ritz,swift,punto etc.)i compared every aspect i could think oflike price, looks, engine, economy,space, comfort, service,resale,spare part price,service availabilty,features.exterior is good as i have mentioned in previous comment.looks big n spacious like a boss in its segment.beat really beats this car in looks but looks is not wwhat matters only.at first instance all gaps n finishing at corners looks fine but after i have run this car for 5000 km since 3 feb i got it, gaps have increased between the creases between bumper n body.doors do not close without force.door alignment had to be done at 2nd service.but it was done nicely at hisar telmos service stationyou meet there MR. ANIL RANGA AND MR. SANJAY YADAV.YOU WILL GET SATISFIED.there service was awsome every time.and satisfaction which was lacking due to car got covered up with their service and friendly nature.

features bad plastic, vibrations after 2000 km a few screws got loose and needed to be tightened may be because of poor quality plastic.you cant keep 1 lit bottle in space provided.space is awsome comfort better than ritz, spark, beat, swift,wagonr, santro, estilo. dont know abt figo n polo.even finishing inside is not at par with maruti ,hyundai or chevorlrt.and I THINK TATA DONT WANT TO IMPROVE ON THIS SEGMENT AT ALL.INCREASE PRICE BY RS.2000 N GIVE tleast quality what your product demands.lumber support really helps,seat height adjustment is plus point and really helps.but you cant see the bonnet untill your head touches roof.forgot to tell punto grips road better than vista.

engine is smooth, ride quality excellent in its segment, poor fuel economy of <11/lit in city with ac all the time on, and 13.45km/lit with ac on all the time on highway.it sucks your blood.gear box is not smooth.shift from 2nd to 3rd gear is long.back gear gets stuck so many times.but gear shift is clean you always get a cfair idea that you have shifted the gear well.ac is poor.makes noise at full speed like a local cooler.pick up is good enough but not when you r ridin with 4 people.
Ride Quality & Handli handling is good, gives you a good grip on road,has power steering but not as swift as maruti n hyundai cars have.turns over at corners have to slow down.
Final Words
good if you buy quadrajet or tdi .if poor plastic does not bother you.and other things as i have mentioned .i feel punto or ritz would have been better choice.for final words i fall for punto just because of rear seat cofort i switched to vista (which can sqeez 4 persons if needed.)

Very near and looks different. Nice head-lamps and tail lamps. Looks far better than all the other small car Tata cars

Spacious car, have got excellent feedback from all the friends who own Santro and Swift. Easily accomodates 5 people including the driver.
Very comfortable driver seats with good features of height adjustment, and tiltable steering. Have heard no complaints from anyone during long distance drivers. Leg space behind for medium stature people is fine, but as expected not for tall people.
Music system is junk and expects an amplifier if you are using separate speakers on the plank. Half of the warning lights seen on the meter make little sense as the book provided is outdated. Door locks are of some concern, but may be rectified now. LEDs for power windows never have worked. This is the worst thing in the car, sometimes they keep blinking due to some problem. I have currently made them remove them out and waiting for a new piece since 18 months.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Great engine, low noise, very smooth. Fuel Economy is the high ways is great. City with A/C is just about a point below 13 kms/ltr [Diesel].
Small issues with clutch. Sometimes feel I am applying lot of pressure on the clutch, but gears are very much relaxed.
Ride Quality & Handling
Good control, but need to be careful when driving on wet road, breaks do tend to drag the vehicle forward sometimes.
As in all Tata cars, handling is great, can move into any location which has just enough space for the car to go into. Zig-zags movement is very clear and at about 60 kms have not felt there are any issues with this kind of driving.
Final Words
Tata has done a great job with this car, but this is just the beginning. The latest version of this car is a definite watch out for car.

Fitted Audio System - The showroom said its BLAUPUNKT - I don't believe that exactly, because I did find no depth in sound while I purchased. I was sad. Then I had spend Rs. 3K for fitting 2 nos. KENWOOD 320 watts Woofers in the Boot area, but the functionalities in the Music System is good as I Load balanced all the 6 + 2= 8 Speakers with well output now.

My car has traveled almost 3000 kms. since I have purchased in April 2nd week and has gone only thru 1st service. Fuel Economy without AC I found is 12 KMPL (Premium Petrol), I ride a mix route thru Highway and Congested City Like Kolkata. With AC on on thru it will be less I guess.

Is good. Only problem while Driving I face is understanding left side of the car seems should be more clear view as I compare with other cars in this segment.
4 persons if not bulky fits very easily in the rear sit . That way its a 6 person car.

Exterior Good looks - Better and feels good in comparison with Indica V2.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space much the same as Indica V2. The company fitted CD player/radio with USB and bluetooth (Blaupunkt) is good however output power could have been better. The additional charger in rear portion is a good thought.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Am more than content with the quality of engine performance and the gear box, though I have yet to experience the high fuel economy claimed. In about 6000 kms and post second service, I am getting about 14 Km/litre in my daily run of about 75 kms from Malad to Navi Mumbai (of which about 60% is highway run).
Ride Quality & Handling Far better as compared to Indica V2. Extremely responsive and full powered drive experience.
Final Words Worth the money paid. Am glad I decided to continue with the Tatas. Service experience with Om Sai at Charkop is also good. However, sales at Concorde - Malad needs improvement. There were quite a few heart-burns in my experience with them.
Areas of improvement Looks - can be better with a wee-bit increased length and bigger tyres in proportion to body size and paint/finish needs an edge that is seen in competitors like Figo, I20, Polo & Punto. The side view mirrors on left and right side can be better, infact the ones on Indica V2 are better and provide a better view.
Headlights - throw and visibility - again I find that the Indica V2 was better in comparision.
Dashboard upper side should be flat and preferably with depression to allow keeping of articles, cell phone etc. besides the requirement of placing an idol which is common in Indians. With the speedometer and the entire control console moved to the centre, the space behind the steering could have been utilsed better with an additional glove compartment. Internal light arrangement is not adequate with the only light in the front side. An additional overhead light can be fitted in the centre of the cabin just like the sedan version.
Sound system output can be better.
VFM, Premium looks, added features and better engine/gearbox compared to V2Compared to Ford Figo, Punto, I20, VW Polo - boot space too small, tyres can be bigger & paint finis

Its look is good but i liked it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) are very luxorius its leg room is also very large and they provide a lot of interiors in the vx quadrajet.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox are marvelous, its mileage is more than Swift.I recently test drove it, it has more pickup torque and powerthan Swift, Figo or Skoda.it has same torque as Swift but at 1750 RPM , so it is the most powerful car.
Ride Quality & Handling are good. its pickup is best and i just loved it.
Final Words are that it is the best car in its class and its also the cheapest and its on-road price is 606,000 in which they provide ABS with EBD, stereo with blue-5 technology, all four power windows, mounted steering, 60:40 Flip & Fold on Rear Seat, Intelligent Rear Wiper, 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, 2 Din Music System with FM/MP3/CD Playback, Remote controlled key less entry, Collapsible Steering. So I am going to buy it.
Areas of improvement are that the boot space should be improved.

I purchased a Vista Quadrajet three weeks back and have done about 800 kms.All i would like to say is that its a pleasure driving this car. It has also been very competetively priced and hence much preferred by a common man. It gives all facilities when compared to a Swift, but at almost 80,000/- less price which is hell of a lot for a comman man. Hats of to TATA for getting such a wonderful car. Though there is a waiting of about a week, but then i think its worth waiting for this car.
Before going in for Vista, i did take a test drive of Chervolate Beat, Ford Figo, Swift and Ritz. Keeping all factors in mind ie power of the engine, space inside, features, waiting period and ofcourse the main thing - PRICE, i decided to go in for a VISTA QUADRAJET

I'd like to mention that, Its not the Tata vehicles which have issues but the Tata customer service.
I agree, there are few quality issues with every car, tata has a tad more :) I had a AC relay issue withing 1st month but is was fixed in 1st serveice - free of cost. I never faced any issue whatsoever :)
I own a Qjet for over a year and has clocked 30,000km. I bought this car for the fact that this car gives you unmatched comfrot in its class.
Exterior I like the design of Vista. It looks huge in comparision to other small cars that people usually compare it with. I like the big Head and Tail lights. I i'm ok with the tyre size (which is bigger than maruti) but would love to have an Oversize tyres to suit the size of car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) As I have mentioned, I bought this car for the fact that this car gives you unmatched comfrot in its class.
1) It has spacious cabin
2) High Seating with good under thigh support (needed for long drives)
3) Extra wide rear steats which can accomodate 5 adults comfortably
4) Big front windscreen and windows for excellent visibility and it also give a feel of roominess
5) Wide door for easy ingress and egress
6) Good boot space to accomodate luggage
I feel sorry for people who avoid this car because of its so called Taxi Image. I pay 5+ Lac rupee to buy a car and i don't see a logic why i should compromise on COMFORT. I have driven this car on a 2500 km road trip and never felt tired.
My friends have Alto, Switf, Chev. Beat, Ritz, Santro, Accent and hence, I feel comfortable while comparing these cars. Believe me, Indica is the best in comfort and space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Vista Qjet is the same engine which is working in Swift, Ritz, Punto and few other cars. The engine in Vista is not as peppy as of a Swift or Ritz but has better torque deliver which makes it ideal car for city driving. Switch it in 3rd gear and it will pull itself from 20kmph and then you can take it all the way to 60kmph that too with AC on. I hardly ever switch to 1st gear unless the car has come to a standstill.
I'm not a high speed fan, I like to cruise at 90 to 110 Kmph. Overall i'm very happy with the power of this car. I love the accelration of Swift but when it comes to Bumper to Bumper city trafic I would like to be in Vista.
Fuel economy is superb in Vista, atleast I feel it that way. Every time I go on a road trip, I check the fuel economy by Full tank to Full tank method. I believe thats the fool proof method of calculating the fuel efficiency of your car. This car has never let me down, every road trip has returned 22+ kmpl fuel economy with AC on all the time. In city It gives me around 16-17 kmpl due to heavy traffic conditions.
Gearbox is an area of improvement for Vista, Its at par with Maruti but not as good as a Hyundai. The gear ratios are good and you don't have to change the gears frequently while driving within the city.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is much better than Swift and Chev. Beat. Handling is good but not the best. This car is not for crazy driving but more sensible driving. Good at Highway and Great within City.
Final Words I love this car... No other car matches the comfort and Space with this budget. Sure, you'll see people advising you to avoid this and would recommend you other cars which are almost 1 lakh expensive than Vista. If you have that budget and are willing to travel in a cramped car after spending 6 lakhs.. all the best!!!! :)

I happened to purchase a Tata Indica Vista from Hyson Motors, Thrissur. The vehicle was delivered yesterday. To my utmost surprise while reaching home I found that the front tyres and rims were replaced with old and damaged ones. I felt completely cheated because of the fraudulence. This is alarming, new vehicles also can't be purchased now without experts.
As a lay man the only thing I can check is what appears in the first sight. Now I don't trust the brand, your team and the whole delivery system.
I had registered complaint with Tata Motors and haven't heard from even after 24 hours Anyone planning for a purchase of this brand who doesn't bother about customers and ethics. Think twice......
