Never buy Tata Indica Xeta

Ok here is my story its 1st car in life I was top of the world. This is my own car, my own money it was different pride. Why tata as I had very good experience as a Tata brand from Solar, Water purifier and TV Cable.

I got this in March 2007. 1st rain season went well. in 2nd season June 2008, I has horrible experiences I was driving to my home town from Pune to Sangli. On Sarata flyover, when my car whet through heavy rain, almost 30 liters of water coming inside the cabin. finally almost 8 to 10 inch of water filled inside cabin. So next day I took my car to Pandit Auto Sangli, they check all places even side glass. nothing was faulty. Then I came back to pune went to B U Bhandari, they also said we did all kind of testing also made fake statement and said even we put your car under heavy shower for almost 2 hrs. no water coming inside cabin. Even I told them water is coming somewhere from front wheel not from top. But no one was listening to me.  then again I took my car and drive for month and again I meet with heavy water and same problem. Finally in September 2007 I decided to close this problem and went o BU Bhandari Wakad, they did their initial investigation for almost 2 days. They didn’t find the lickage. Finally I took car to ram and stared throwing water from back of when and came to know a shocking design fault. Exactly behind the front wheel at drivers side. They kept 1 inch of whole and that was closed by some pest or patch. Which was removed due to heavy rain. When I went through heavy rain water came from this whole like pressure pipe toughing water. So BU Bhandari told me 1^st you have to pay for expenses and we will make a claim to Tata. So we did it took me almost 13000 for closing this whole, change the entire flooring as it was smelling very bad due wet condition.

Finally Tata said its out of warranty we can’t approve this claim. But they never accept fact that no one will make a whole to the body and not just behind front wheel. BR Bhandari (Mechanic) told me due to weight configuration its necessary to have such whole in body. God knows.

My point is car is value for money but that not a true as its worst manufacturing also. That’s reason it’s very cheap. You all know is not made in Tata but it’s made in Bhosari MIDC. So Finally I suggest don’t go for such car which is not truly tested and well manufactured.

This is about product now another story for such great product. I took car loan from Tata finance, they told before taking lone (Kaustub from BU Bhanadari) You can change your installment date whenever you want. As he gave ne 22^nd, Which is little difficult to have money on account at end of month. So he said you can change any time. After 2 year of various level of follow-ups I came to know that you can’t change date. Till that time many people started from Sales person, office who recover the money when you laps your installment then Tata Fin manager who sits in office and talk to you when you miss installment. All was saying yes it is possible and we will change your installment date.

Two people usually come to my house to collect money and initially they build very good rapo and they collect money they give receipt of money. But some time they may not carry receipt book or they come to house when we are not at home, so we talk over phone and they give different receipt. In one incident I was not at home and I ask my wife to handover cheq to this guy (Name : Chandu) which was blank cheq (Its was my mistake ) Due to this all mess this guy guy took away almost 18000 from my account. They I told Tata Fin they caught Chandu and collected 10000. Still waiting for 8000. After one year nothing is happening now. After chandu there was another person he is almost 45 yr old. His name Mr. Chougale. He use to collect money from me on monthly basis. In 2^nd or 3^rd last month he said you’re a/c will be clear if you pay this installment so I gave his all remaining money and taken the receipt. After few months I came to know that I still own one installament including the fine late fee its coming 30% extra. Tata Fin told me this guy made some fraud and we sacked Mr Chougale.

So finally I thought of dealing with Tata as a brand is not good every time we face huge trouble. Both case we haven’t got any special help from Tata. All the time they said it’s your mistake. So I realize it’s your are correct it’s my mistake that I choose your as my car manufacturer. After that I know almost 5-8 friends purchased different car but I never told any of them to go for Tata. You pay little more money but there is less hassle and better product. No one want cheap product with lots of defect.

Finally same story I told to Tata also send formal communication with all these pain area. Nobody has taken my point seriously. All they can say we are improving on it. Better you go for our another product to find the different which is shameless statement.
