The Superb defo is a steal!

Exterior

 Could have stretched the hood of the car a bit more for cosmetic looks, but still at this price of around 25 lacs, its a steal. I have just bought a new Superb & can vouch for this machine. The way it commands the road makes me believe the road is hugging this car, not the other way round.

Hats off to this beast. I was thinking of buying a Mercedes E350, but looking at the features this beast had to offer, I pocketed the money.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 All beige thick leather. I compared this with the Merc E250 & the thickness of leather there was much less. Superb again had the best interiors. The leg room tempts me to strtch my legs but my love for driving prevents me. Lotsa room for your long legs!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Not looking at the feul economy as I enjoy my short drives in Delhi. Engine is a genie when it comes to frequent braking in the city. The triptronic Gears are a marvel. The Mercedes E350 couldnt stand a chance here! I've drove all of them & comparing the size of this big car to other Mercs & beemers, the Superb is definately easy to manouver in the city & doesnt loose on luxry inside. 

The A/c doesnt have memory settings & needs to be adjusted everytime you hit the ignition. If I forget to close the outside air vents which are controlled with pneumatics in this car, then after a few minutes ont he road you can smell the smoke on the road. Skoda should have put a chip in the A/c to remember previous settings atleast! Its available in the cheapest cars & I cant figure out why Skoda didnt put this in their best model. They could have dont better with the A/c. But nevertheless, the A/c is a chiller in the hot days & a warmer in the cold nights & works flawlessly as opposed to other reviews I have seen for the Superb. I think Skoda fixed the A/c issues already, just didnt put in the memory chip there!

Final Words

BUY this car without a thought.

 

Just bought my SUPERB & 'wow' is all I can say for the handling. For 25 Lacs its a steal!A/C settings need to be done everytime you hit the ignition. There shud have been a memory there!
