The Skoda Slavia now gets a new Style Edition priced at Rs. 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Skoda India has launched the Elegance Edition of the Slavia sedan in the country at a starting price of Rs. 17.52 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in both manual and automatic gearbox options, this edition is positioned above the current top-spec Style trim and is restricted to limited numbers.

0 - Terrible buyIt cost me 21 lakhs, more than what I’d budgeted. The car drives well but it’s not smooth. Takes bumps badly. Fuel average is 7km/l. AC is terrible. The car gets heated badly. Not good.Rating parameters(out of 5)2

Just got the car delivered in a week’s time. Driving experience: Initially I visited the showroom to book a MT car but after doing a test drive of AT, I really loved the smooth drive and booked the Style 1.0 AT. I have happy that I booked the AT. It’s peaceful to drive the AT in the city traffic and also in the long drive. The brakes are sharp. Looks and Performance. It’s beautiful. It will make the heads turn when it hits the road. Servicing and maintenance: Haven’t done the first service yet. It’s only after 15000/- kms. Few more kms pending for my first service. Hopefully it should be hassle free. No Cons for me. If you drive smoothly, you will get decent mileage even in city traffic.Rating parameters(out of 5)5

- Skoda Slavia reviewBuying experience was fine. Car steering after coding feels connected. Looks great. But main con is that it is a rattle box.. within one and half months of buying the car, the car has so many rattles that I lost my peace of mind. I regret going for this 2.0 version vw-skoda cars. I sold it on cars24 for loss of 2 lakhs and went with brezza automatic. I had vw ameo before. It was a superb car.. no rattles, mileage was excellent. But since the clutch was hard.
