Skoda- A perfect companion on road since last 3 years

Exterior

Though not exactly a perfect looking exterior, the new Laura definitely makes its presence felt on the roads!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Comfortable seats, (though backseats could have been better), amazing maneuverability and gives a very secured feeling. Music system (though single CD Player) has good sound output

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Though a bit higher on the engine noise levels, this car has a gem of an engine. Amazing torque (with no turbo lag). Outstanding on mileage. (At times our car has delivered mileage of 20kms/ltr during highway trips, that too with AC on!) This is the car which i have driven at 200km/hr on Mumbai-Pune expressway!

Ride Quality & Handling

 Bit stiff suspensions and steering feel could have been better especially at high speeds.

Final Words

 Value for money car, with almost no competition in this segment (especially for the diesel option)

Areas of improvement  

 Steering mounted controls should be std accessory. Music system should have USB connectivity. Engine noise levels should be improved.
