Hatchback with features of a sedan, worried about post warranty expenses

 

Exterior Should have given Fog lamps. Poor head lamps. Very thin layered paint. should have given remote lid opening. No tinted glasses.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good interiors. Front seats very spacious. excellent features. noisy ac vents. Excellent music system.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very noisy engine. average fuel economy. smooth gear box. I have driven around 40K Kms. in something less than two years. City drive is not very comfortable. Highway drive is very comfortable. i have faced many problems as far as service is concerned. I should say very poor service as far as Bhopal is concerned. Warranty coverage problems. My car is having problem regarding its turbo for months but still not taken up by the dealer. Skoda co. looks to be very lineant on this part. And the company is not reachable. Service centre is not well mechanised and the service team insists to leave the vehicle at service centre. And then they will play with the vehicle. Battery will be used as stanby battery in other vehicles. Not at all satisfied with the service.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Average in city but good on highways.

 

Final Words I m not satisfied with the service part. May think twice before recommending anyone for this car. Not expected from a brand like Skoda. Very expensive maintenance and car has lot of wear n tears. Might be difficult to maintain the car in post warranty period. Very expensive service.

 

Areas of improvement Service is the area for improvement. Spares are not adequately available at dealerships.
