Exterior Superb design.(I love it).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Top notch quality interiors, no rival can come nearby only one can be compared in except POLO. (but still I thinks its better than polo).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pros- Gd fuel economy City- 15 Highways-19+with a/c, notchy gear box(Butter smooth),
cons- low pick up sudden slow down & bit loud engine noise(but no cabin noise.).
Ride Quality & Handling Makkhan, splendid smooth. Engulfs path-holes like anything.
Final Words Just buy new fabia diesel top end as new version has more power which was the only issue I felt to be taken care of. U will fall in love with the car.
Areas of improvement I think they should add on more goodies in top end version & also they should enter a higher powered diesel version yo outdo the competition. rest everything is near perfect as now they have reduced prices & improved power as well.

Exterior Good looks of a premium sedan.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Engine hood opener is on the left side. Excellent interiors but easily get soiled. Back seat is very spacious and comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance upto 2000 rpm is average. Hence not enjoyable in slow traffic. At highway speed is very good. But have not exceeded 100kmph so far. Gear box is smooth and fuel economy varies from 16 to 20kmpl.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent highway car. The ride is very smooth. Car is very stable at high speeds.
Final Words If you travel often on highway with family and luggage and drive self look no further. The car also offers excellent premium feel. If you travel a lot in the city with not so good roads with speed bumps it is better to employ a driver and enjoy the back seat.

Exterior Exterior is neat, with bold lines and a decent paint job. Clean tidy look. Tends to look like a box at times but a box you like to look at!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are average in terms of no buttons on the steering, side view mirrors are manual, no defogger and no rear wiper. Afetr rains the rear view mirror becomes absolutely useless. Even my Santra had this thing. The good points are the fit and finish is perfect. The cabin is BIG for a small car! Espically for sardars there is enough turban space even in the rear. The music system is good but has no remote. The diggy space is decent.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is noisy and a bit jerky at the lower gears but otherwise it is amazing. You can actually FEEL your car unlike the Honda City!!! The fuel economy is not be best in city driving (10-12) but on the highway it is easy to reach 15-16 Km/l.
The gearbox is a dream. The brakes are very good, so good that I have been hit thrice from behind as I could stop rapidly compared to others.
Ride Quality & Handling Amazing ride esp. on the highway. You feel safe. Heavy doors and the car feels STUCK to the ground. Clearence is average.
Final Words A good car, probably the best of the lot.
Areas of improvement The biggest problem is probably the after sales. The service center I use is Fareinet, Motinagar, Delhi and the esperience was bad. There is a snobbish air amonst the people working there. Bills of 30,000-50,0000 are considered average and okay by the staff. No help, no smile and basically nobody wishes to work!!!! Very sad!!!! My 1st service and denting and painting of 1 door with repeat wood work (it cracked within 15 days) on the steering took 8 days!!!

Exterior Good looking car and have a classy outlook. The feel is great, most importantly it looks a class on the indian roads.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great interiors, one feel very comfortable and gives a world class feeling.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good till you dont deal with Fahrenheit auto. Worst service you can ever get in 20 years of owning loads of other cars in life.
Ride Quality & Handling Cool. Handling doesn't require any daily updates. Good till you hit the garage.
Final Words Service and maintenance is endless and poor people with no knowledge of things of what's world class SKODA brand means. Horrible service and customer Engagement. My car was sent 4 times before during the warranty they identified the problem in cluster meter. After that they have to get a picture done and send to head office. Than the staff managed to keep giving excuse to delay things and not fit the cluster meter. All together on 5th trip all escalatiohere're done and finally they called car in no time. Which agained confirm that they all are filled with excuses. Today while they have car they are claiming that tare system is down and they cannot tune the clustemeter. God save US people who are in hands of dealers like Fahrenheit Auto in West delhi.
Areas of improvement
1. Focus should bekno maintenance and service part for the car.
2. Car should be manged and understood wellby people here which arehired by dealers.
3. Poor staff engagement skills by Fahrenheit Auto.

I love the front look of the car. And the Fog light adds a better look to it. However, the back doesnt seem to be much pleasing. But still i'm ok with it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The interior quality is really good and i just love it. There could have been chrome plating in the steering wheel in elegance model as laura to add a richer look. Comfort is good and rear space is fine even for a 6 ft tall guy. Boot space of 315 litres is great.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Till the vehicle hits 2000 rpm, there is turbo lag initially but is not felt much. Once the vehicle reaches 2000 rpm, the power is really good. This turbo lag can be overcome by constantly racing at low gears and in a couple of months u can feel that the turbo lag will get vanished. Because me doing the same, now my car takes speed below 2000 rpm itself. Gearbox is really awesome. Very smooth. Shifting of gears is really much of ease. The reverse gear engagement by pushing the lever down and then left is good.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is very good. and the vehicle is very very stable even at speeds of 170kmph. Braking is also perfect. ABS with EBD. Handling at speeds is also easy. At whatever speed you go, u can feel stability unlike other cars. I have hit 180kmph couple of times.
Final Words
It is a 3-cylinder engine. But don't forget to see it has DOHC which is always better than SOHC. So this is why the Fabia stands equal in performance to the other 4-cylinder SOHC cars.
Areas of improvement
I already feel the vehicle is the best in its class and has what we need. A little costly but always worth the money.

Exterior Looks good on the exterior. Fog lamps in the curved manner is good. The front grill of Skoda is really nice.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is rich and good compared to the other cars in the segment. Quality of interiors is good. very comfortable. Rear is good for 2 people to sit comfortably. Addition of rear wiper and de-fogger in the present version is a neccesary addition. But the removal of the dead pedal was wrong.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear shift is smooth. Fuel economy is also good as it a 3-cylinder. Regarding performance - It achieves speed but much slower than the diesel version because this doesn't have a turbo.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling is good. It is good for passionate slow old age or lady-drivers. The petrol version is not suitable for racing young hearts. Stable at speeds and can rely on the car. Solid built car.
Final Words Very smooth car. No sought of vibration and can never feel whether the engine is ON.
Areas of improvement If incase Turbo comes with this version, it'll be really good.

I bought a new Skoda Fabia from Autobahn (prabhadevi) around the 15 March 2012. A week later as I was getting my seat covers fixed, the guys showed me a scary site. The metal frames of our brand new car's front two seats were rusted to the point of metal corrosion. (when we touched the metal, bits of the rusted metal were falling off!)
I called the Autobahn salesman. First they said they were in a shock and blamed Skoda for this.
I went over to Autobahn and asked to speak to the Manager (nikhil) who spoke very well in person and the next day onwards stop answering my calls.
Anyway, new replacement seats came to the workshop in 10-12 days but they were rusted as well!
Seems like all the Skoda parts that come to India are really old and rusted. Its been a month and I haven't heard a word from them, inspite of our follow up phone calls
A piece of advice: please check your new Skoda car thoroughly before accepting it.or beter still don't buy a Skoda.
All the after sales scary stories are real. If you want any spare part give yourself at least a 2 month head start.
When you go to buy your Skoda, the sales person will tell you that there are no problems for spares now, cause Volkswagon has a plant in Pune. But all the parts are still imported. Seems like all the ones here are really old and rusted
Beware of the sales talk. It's sad, but i think Maruti is probably a better option for India.

Save your self from filthy after sales service , pls pls pls dont buy any skoda make .,even though the perfomance of the car is good ., end of the day the Service from the one and only MONOPOLY Dealer Gurudev motors Chennai KILLS , for a simply replacement of battery they are still attending since 2nd Nov my Car is stranded at Dealers place.,
The SKODA people are from STONE AGE they dont know what is customer service.
Every time you call the dealer or customer care they will promise to get back to us but they will never call.
Wrost is they will not even do the mandatory routine check up as per the manual but will raise invoice for the work not done.
Buying the car doesnt end there but service is a long term commitment.. which Skoda surely fails all the service level agreement.
I am seriously planning to drag these people to court for monopolistic practise and consumer rederesal forum

Exterior I realised the quality of exterior when I attempted to open the door for the first time to sit on driver's seat. It is so heavy that for a moment I thought as if I am opening some bank's locker. The bonnet is also very heavy to lift. The gauge thickness shows the obvious safety of the occupant. You cannot compare this car with any of its filmsy Japanese, South korean or American counterpart of same segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This is hatchback car only for name sake giving total comfort of Sedan.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Initially I drove this car in 2nd & 3rd gear in city traffic of Thane which yielded average of 8Km\lit. Later I had a long drive on Highways driven on top gear at 80Km/hour which gave me amazing milage of 21 Km\lit. The gear shifting is very smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling It is truly European car. You can realise the power of turbo when throttle is pressed slightly. It just keeps on gliding on good roads & driving is really effortless. You are in different world when windows are shut & AC is put on.
Final Words I decided to take this car inspite of reading so many adverse reviews & even knowing that this car is coming to an end in India. I donot think that my decesion is wrong. It would not be an exaggeration if I say that this is poor man's Mercedes.

Final Words I initially was hesistant to buy this car, my childhood friend gave it to me a a gift, and said pay me if you think its value for money, SOOOO here it goes, Its the best of the last 5 cars i owned so far, The interior, seating comfort, space, visibility and driving pleasure is superb, to top it the milage is unbelieveable 16 to 20 kmp to a litre, the safety features, maintainance, and overallriding and handling is excellent its value for money. I strongly recommend it in the hatchback segment. The other hatchbacks are no match to this car for the above mentioned reasons, this is my personal opinion, you are free to decide for your own self.
