Exterior I have a Orange colour fabia which looks pretty good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are comfortable. Enough leg room in front as well as rear. 300 litres boot plus the flexible tray helps carry lots of baggage.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy 8.5 kmpl in city with 75% AC. Engine is powerful and you can feel the engine taking on when you climb flyovers and all easily even at 5th gear but the engine makes old age diesel engine type noise when switched on along with a substantial body vibration at that time. The brakes makes a typical noise like a thud when applied little suddenly as well. Suspension is a problem and makes sound when turning. even after informing the service agent on all service this was not fixed.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling are pretty decent.
Final Words Need to do some more work on engine refinement.

Exterior Good exteriors with aerodenamic look. longest car in its class for max space. bigger front light.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great space in the car and boot also.Comfort is also commendable. Features are unique. Awesome. Front leg room and rear leg room is very spacious. sitting posture is also very good in rear seat. Beige interior is also very good. Front beem plays a very important role in case of impact.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great performance, My car is giving a milage of 13-14 in city and I think this milage is good in its class. If I will talk about the gear shifting quality then no doubt its amazing very smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Tremandos Control on a speed of 130 kmph its amazing. very good comfort in this car. luxury feeling comes while driving. I am driving this car from last 3 months it gives me a great driving experience. I ahve driven more than 10000 km in just 3 months. good thing is also that its service is due after 15000 km, which gives me satisfaction on a long drive that i can go on a tour of 2000-3000 kms.
Final Words Value for money, I recommend it to eveyone.

Exterior I have been an auto-buff all through out my life. Reading auto magazines, relishing each write up, looking at the wonderful page spreads and changing cars at regular intervals has been my hobby. I have driven Marutis, Fiats,Chevys, Hondas and Mercs and had always fancied Skodas. This April I got my Skoda. I had decided to go for manual, diesel version of the smaller hatchback White in colour, elegance variant. stunning looks, very neat,compact front end Adequate touch of chrome, backward sloping headlights. The funniest thing is the elegance variant comes with base lights which remain ON even in the daylight and you can't switch them off!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The seats are very comfy. The dash is neat. Indicators are simple but illustrative and informative. Back seat space is very good. You can push the front pilot seat right in front and stretch your legs in the backseat. This is undoubtedly the roomiest of the hatch.2 air bags, very neat covered storage bins in the front, locking and unlocking buttons handy and wide door pockets . You can't really ask for more. If I miss anything from my previous Honda city....it is a front hand rest!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2 lts engine is noisy when you start the car. It settles in a nice rhyme and rhythum once you put the vehicle in 4th and 5th gear overdrive. There are however no vibrations felt inside. Pick up is excellent and the car zooms past others as you press the paddle. A dead paddle at the left is a very thoughtful addition which I had experienced in my Chevy. Fuel economy is excellent and I keep on getting 18 to 20 kms per liter in Mumbai city.
Ride Quality & Handling Just superb, very safe and secure! Handling is like a big car!
Final Words I would strongly recommend Fabia Elegance Diesel variant to a prospective buyer.
Areas of improvement Rear end of the car needs to be aesthetically redesigned!

Exterior I Bought this car in Jan'11 and drive myself only. I can say its worth to have such beautiful car with you. It should come in metallic also.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I am 6 ft tall and am very much comfortable sitting inside.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is noisy and most worry part is when u start your AC you can easily feel the vibration, I dont know why only with this car. When you switch off the ignition still you can hear some noise (AC noise) for few seconds :( I can see a wire hanging around the regulator grill. I believe wire dressing was done correctly.
I felt that some time gear box is not so smooth. It could have great power if u compare Swift or i20. I have gone through the earlier review and am agree with them in terms of child locking system etc.
Ride Quality & Handling It is fabulous. I like the AC duck for the rear passenger and it is powerful enough to chill you. Sometime it is so irritating that once you engine is switched off somewhere you have to rotate your key in anticlock wise fully and then give ignition. In other car (e.g Maruti) you can give ignition from the same position of the key.
Final Words A good car to have with you.
Areas of improvement Child locking system, there is no remote center locking, fuel cap opening with key in era. AC noise, Engine noise.

I have a Skoda fabia Ambiente 1.2 MPFI bought on 1st June 2011. Close to 4000kms.
The exterior is excellent when seeing from the front and the sides. When seeing from the rear it resembles more like swift. The high point in this model is the chrome finish on the front with the SKODA logo.
The build quality was tested out in the high way once when a learner santro car rammed us from behind. i got down from the car to check and i could not see a single scratch.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior finishing is great when compared to other models. Comfort for the driver is great. All passengers feel great except the unlucky one in the rear middle seat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine performance is great. I can easily start in 2nd gear with no fuss. pickup is low in midrange but acceptable to me. gear shit is excellent . You dont have to sweat when changing gears.
Fuel economy is good when driving in high way. I have seen mileage of close to 20Kmph when driving in highways. One precaution i took is not to drive beyond 80 kmph. In city conditions i get sometimes close to 12 kmph.
Ride Quality & Handling
Great ride quality - i dont hear any sound from outside if i have AC and light music on. my friend who owns a Ford Figo drove my car and he commented that the sound attenuation is good than Figo. he said that Figo is proclaimed as a hatch back with great sound attenuation.
Handling is great. only issue is the crankling sound when turning sharply in slightly higher speeds. Apart from this one drawback there is no other issue. Dont get any issue when you push the car to speeds to 120-130. Not many hatch backs share this experience.
One another issue which most of the cars share is not being able to see the edges of the car when driving. very less cars like wagonr have overcome this issue.
Final Words
Great car to own -its a owners pride. great comfort when driving. Fuel economy is a point to worry about but this is a point u have to sacrifice if u take the other points like safety and handling.
Areas of improvement
1. hump in front of the mid section of the rear seat.
2. No rear defogger.
3. i had a issue upfront when buying the car. This was due to the lethargic handling by one of the sales staff. apart from this there was no complaints.
4. No goodies worth mentioning was given by the sales people from Skoda Gurudev motors from Chennai , arumbakkam.

Exterior: No complaints really except for the defogger and rear washer (2012 version includes both and i feel a little cheated here)
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Really comfortable to get in and out specially for older people and as you move in there is a pretty wide view of the outside. Seats are not as much comfortable (need little more spongyness) during short drives as probably in Swift or the Esteem (my cousin has this) but for long distance it is very good and comfortable. I love the MFD and the steering and the overall quality of plastics. But if you are buying the Elegance you will need to have a darker shade of covers for the seats as it gets dirty very soon. Quality of plastics is way to good compared to all compititors. The audio system is the best you can get with bigger buttons for easy operation. I am a music freek and really enjoy my songs when inside the car, it has a good BASS effect and clarity. Rear end is comfortable for even tall guys as there is ample leg room but the 3rd person will feel a little sqeezed. Love the soft touch Dashboard and the 2 split storage option (lower one is cooled). AC is very good and powerfull too. I think i have covered most part of the interior.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Gear box is an absolute beauty. its very smooth and shifting gears happens without any effort. No problems with the Engine performance so far, will update later. Fuel Economy..now this is where it becoms dependant on the driver. I am not a seasoned driver but still have driven 3 different cars both in city and highway and this is what i get:-
City: 10-11, without AC. I was told that this will improve need to watch out. I am not that confident. The main reason for this is the initial pickup of the car is very poor and need to tap the acc. pedal a little in the stop start traffic. This at least created a lot of problems for me and i had many embarrassing moments as the car would litterally go off !!!! Also the RPM reves up too quickly unlike in many other cars. I have never had this problem with the old as well as the new swift and the Esteem too ! So it something the sompany needs to think of. Ofcourse the pedals are hydraulic controlled and not the cable ones here. But still if you need to be successful it has to change a bit. I have gotten used to it now but it comes with an additional effort :O(
Highway: 17-19, with and without AC also depends on the gear shifts. 19 is the best i have got and is a very good return for a petrol car. But this needs to be looked at by the company very seriously to stay ahead.
Ride Quality & Handling: Though its a cake walk on thehighway a lot needs to be desired for the city drive specially with the initial pickup. ride and handling is excellent, i literally handle it with 4 fingers to be precise :) but there is higher body roll when compared to other cars. This i think will have less impact on the driver/passengers if the seats are made more spoogy as in swift as we will get settled in the seats more deeply. Shocks and ground clearance are very good and seldom makes contact with the humps and bumps.
Final Words: Go for it if you dont care about mileage and highly recommended if your travel is mostly long distance. I liked it for the simple reason that i dont want to own 1 which is way too common. This has a lot of impact on the service because of the big Q's. Hope you got my point. I just love the car for the quality, fit and finish.
The srevice: As of now the response seems to be better but can really give u an update after my first comp. service. But i have already been there 3-4 times for smal issues and felt there are improvements required to be done as the guys taking care of service and insurance related things need to have a lot more ownership and commitment !!!!
Areas of improvement: Lots of scope here !
1. Sales guys must stop playing on the customers mind that anything like the sensors or the additional speakers, etc etc will impact the warranty as there are better proffessionals available outside than inside nowadays
2. Accessories like the parking sensors, etc etc costs more than double when fitted inside the showroom and this must be looked at.
3. Sales persons literacy and know how about the cars needs to improve a lot as the always respond after consultation with the seniors !
4. Ownership of the work carried out in the TAL (Bodyshop) needs to improve a lot and there must be a sense of quality in terms of delivery of the car post the job is done. I found a lot of grease marks inside my car when i got the delivery post mirror replacement and correction of quality issues in the auto control for windows recently.
These are things that i felt as of now...will return with more as i experience it.

I bought the Skoda Fabia Ambiant car in Feb -2010 from Tafe Access, Bangalore. As per the seclude the first service was due on Feb 2011. The car was left at the showroom as the service center is very far. Thou the car was for a regular service they took three days to say something. The reason for the delay was the fuel pump was found fault and same had to be replaced in the warranty. It was shocking when I went to service center surprisingly to seen the delay. They had met with an accident and the tinkering and painting job was in the process without our knowledge. Great difficulty I had to get the car out with just a letter for the damages done during the service. After this I had several calls assuring the care and service in the future would be taken at top priority. My 2nd serviced was due in Feb 2012 and I left the car personally at the serviced center thou it was very far. I got my car back on the same day. As a routine the extra wheel, jack, tool kit were checked. After 3 months when I opened the bonnet for cleaning I was again shocked seeing the engine cover was missing. There is no proof for the same. The service center is very carless and rude. The car has not gone anywhere else for any sort of a maintenance after the 2nd service. This car is very much a self driven car. The car meters 4500kms for 2 years. Overall the Tafe Access Service center is very very very bad place to service our cars.
Exelent car, Comfort of driving is out of the world.Worst servicing, Tafe Access worst pale to service, parts go missing. rude behaviour.

Exterior Its alright, not as elegant as a swift, but its good. Its different from the other cars out there.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It comfortably seats 4 peopke, and 5 people in the car is a little push.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance is good.
Ride Quality & Handling This is the best. I have had no issues on long drives.
Final Words Gurudev motors are the only Skoda dealers in Chennai, and their sales and services people are horrible. I thought the customer service provided by sales was bad, but when I left my car for my first servicing, the people their at their service center made their sales people look great! It will take days before you get your car back, and they dont call you to provide status, You have to call them 100 times, and their technicians will tell you these delays are expected.
Areas of improvement Skoda needs to pay more attention to their dealers. Gurudev motors in Chennai is horrible, but you have no other choice. The car pretty much sells itself.
