KWID 2500KM Review

Exterior The best part bof the car is its looks and its so excellent. It turns the eyebrows of most when passby.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its have enough space for the family of 4 + my 5 year old kid. Had a very large boot for a big vacation. Media nav system is good for listening music, but only 2 audio output is given as default means only 2 front speakers only will do. No option given for the rear speakers, though you can take a tap off with a low watt additonal speakers. Maps is not so good as google maps especially out of city or town. Ha s lot of storage in and sround front, but Upper glove box is lock is the worst which i have replaced twice, still creating the same proble, might be a inherent design issue. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is as expected for a 799CC engine. It easily touches 100 KM mark with a little push of throttle, 4 onboard with AC on. But above 110-120 it Lags as expected. We need to understand that we cannot use kwid for highway car racing, but a comfotable family ride is very much possible. Gear shifting is smooth. The very important part is its milage. Its very much depends on your driving style and driving condition. Follow the digital instrument advice for gear shifts, i bet you will get a much better milage. Before 1st service, it was 19 km/l (AC on, Mostly highway and occasionally city ride). After 1st service, digital display says 20.3 km/l (Approximately 21 km/l using tank fill to tank fill).

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is the better aspect of KWID nad you will feel like a king (or Queen). Its easy to manuware and power steering is so excellent and lite. Will face a bit of problems while overtaking, you cant raise Mr.Kwid as fast from low speed in high gear. You have to reduce the gear and pickup speed, thats how its works.

Final Words Beeing its my first vehicle and after a lot of research work, i opted KWID and its not made me to regret. Guys, if you are all looking for value for your money with a decent vehicle who can move your family with at most comfort, you can go for it. Those who are looking for a 1200cc performance for below 4 lacks, please wait for some more time (I dont know who will come up with the vehicle).

Areas of improvement Passenger safety (Duel airbags), improvements in rear seat seat belts, upper glove box lock, idling vibration reduction.
