I bought a Renault Duster RxZ. Since, I wanted my SUV to have a sporty look, I thought to get some Front & Rear Grill & Stepper. I checked with the company people & they said that if I get all this work done from the company their warranty won't seize. Despite my friend's Shop, who's into car accessories, I got the Front & Rear Grills fitted from the company, just to make sure that in case there is any issue the warranty will stand.
I went for the 1 st Service to Renault at 2900 km, got the car inspected in which I was made aware that the cooling is not working. They told me that the fitment of Front Grill was done in such a manner that the bolt has went past the AC Grill & that the condenser has got impacted & leaked.
The Car Accessories guy came for inspection & told that the Car Grill has been impacted. I was very sure that there had been no impact since the purchase of my Car. I confronted them & they kept maintaining that the Car got impacted.
They did not listen anything that I said. Neither the Company changed the Condenser saying that since Car had an impact on the Grill(NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL) the Condenser cannot be claimed under warranty. The Car Accessory Guy also walked away saying they fitted the Grill right.
With no fault of mine, I had to get the Condenser pipe repaired for which I paid a hefty amount.
When it comes to taking the responsibilty, these big companies despite claiming big do not listen to customer.
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH RENAULT. ALL FAKE PROMISES.
