Exterior Cute looking beast. Stylish car in the segment & very well designed body.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfortable boot space for all passengers, comfortable seating and limited cup holders is a draw back along with dashboard which is quite small as compared to other cars in this segment.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Amazing 1.5 turbo engine which is the most powerful in hatch backs and very impressive fuel economy with 15 kmpl with AC in city & 20 on highway. Gearbox is touch harder but the overall performance of the vehicle covers up for the same.
Ride Quality & Handling Very zippy & by far the easiest & smoothest steering to drive with really good road grip.
Final Words If you are buying a car for daily city usage & also a long drive freak, best car to put your money on is Nissan Micra.
Areas of improvement Better usage of Dashboard space & an default music system compatible with dvds & pen drive.

Exterior The exteriors will turn your heads and keep an eye on it. Dont let the pictures fool you, the car looks small but it is quite spacious than I10, Swift, Punto and Polo. The car is built with quality and the styling definetely suits all ages. Looks are stunning and women (men too) will surely take this car.The panel gaps are consistent (dont go by review on pre-production cars). The request sensor, intelligent key is quite amazing, am sure lot of thought has gone in to design it. Key to life is no key really suits. The boomerang shape at the roof, controls the wind noise. All colours really (I loved it) suits the Micra. The headlamp looks are nice and the design is dominated by curves.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Engine start/stop button is lovely and no cranks. The dashboard is well laid, feels nice to use as well. The orange backlit, audio arrangements, powerful climate control ac, combination of greige and beige interiors gives comfort and fresh feel. Electric fold mirrors are adjustable and handy. Horn is meek, large windscreen gives good view, front seats are supportive. Steering tilt adjustment quite useful. Interior quality is much better than swift but not in the leagues of Polo or Fabia. Headroom is sufficient in front and back. rear seats with adequate legroom than I10, Swift, Polo and Fabia. Under thigh support is ok with 3 passengers at rear in XV (not sure on others). large rear windows look airy, not claustrophobic like Beat and Swift. boot space is adequate with 220 litres.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2 litre 3 cylinder engine is so smooth, idling is silent and a perfect mix of agility and refinement. It has enough pep and very good city drive car for bumper to bumper traffic. I am fine with torque and power and found it pleasure driving with friends/family. The gear box is slick, smooth and I found it easier to use. Fuel economy is around 10km/ltr (clocked less than 100 kms in road-newly bought) am sure it will give 14-15 in city and 16-17 in highways.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride and handling is fantastic with excellent suspension - a great boon in city roads/traffic. Over Speed brakers it felt cushiony with 5 people in the car (adequate GC). no bumpiness and no noise/well tuned suspension.
Final Words Very good car with excellent features with nice price tag. I went for Micra after seeing Figo, I10, Ritz, Punto, Polo and Fabia and my mind and heart said yes to Micra.
Areas of improvement Dealer network has to improve for a very good car like this. no driver seat adjustment, lack of rear seat head restraints, small gloveboxes, no bigger size ORVM's, no alloy wheels in XV petrol.

Areas of improvement This car is available in europian markets from last 30 years, nissan must have given much thought launching this 4th generation Micra(March in Europe) in India.

Exterior The exterior looks compact but is more spacious than you expect. The colors available are very attractive, sporty and give a youthful look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are very good, leg room is comfortable but rear seats are not very comfortable for long drives. The accessories available are very wide.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear box is very sensitve and easy to operate, i guess. Gives me a avg on 15 mileage(1300km driven, petrol version). Though it's a 3 cylinder engine, the noise levels are very low. AC is also very effective. The turning radius is an added advantage.
Ride Quality & Handling Balanced and excellent ride if i may compare with figo or polo.
Final Words Driving the car for a month now. The dealer in hyd is very courteous and the am very happy with this car.
Areas of improvement Rear head rests are not comfortable. They concentrated on mileage as a result pick-up has taken a beating.

Final Words
I bought Nissan Micra 7 months back. There is a problem with the gearbox. Inspite of repeated complaints, it could not be rectified. I am very much disappointed with the gearshift.
Areas of improvement
Lot of improvement needs to be done as far as gearbox is concerned. Also cost has to be reduced in order to compete with the cars in the same range from other companies.
Further, the company should make sure that the dealers are having qualified and experienced technicians. When I took the car for gearbox checking, they drove the car for 5 kilometers and tried to convince me that the gearbox is fine. They hardly try to hear from me about my complaint. Either they are unfit for the job or want to avoid the service which has to be done free of cost.

My review comes from the experience of 6 years and 1.5lac I'm ownership.
Exterior Micra's design is a very personal choice, you either love it outer loathe it. In my case , it is the former. Exterior parts are quite cheap compared to let's say Hyundai or in some cases even Maruti.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space In the inside is good. Something over doesn't expect looking at the compact exterior design. Mind you it was the first car under 10 lac category giving you push button start and keyless entry, so it's a feature rich car.
However the downside are the seats, the bucketing and bolstering is bad. The seat feels like flat back without much lumbar support which is a problem for long journeys. It's AC is A GRADE. Air circulation from vents is phenomenal.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It's a tight engine, done 1.5lacs on the car without any issue with engine and electricals. As far as performance is concerned, it's a very good city car without any lag in shifting gears. That way you will feel you are driving a petrol car. It doesn't have good chassis and power to become highway car, you can leave that to Europeans. Fuel economy is good in city, till date I get around 21km/l with AC. On highway if you limit yourself to 80kmph, it will give return you 25km/l. These are realtime figures!
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is ok if not great, that is mainly due to weak chassis. Handling is ok as the steering is responsive. It accumulates as per speed.
Final Words It is a very good and reliable car which makes me wanna buy a Nissan again.

While buying, showroom people goofed up in the RC records (engine no and chassis no) which delayed my getting the clearance from hypothecation from bank and put me back by a few thousand rupees and a few years and numerous visits to RTO offices, banks and show room. Starting problem persists everytime the vehicle is kept in the hot son for as little as 2 hours. After cooling down, it starts smoothly and makes a fool in the mechanic's eyes Rated fuel consumption and actual one, there is a world of difference. Would not recommend this brand to my friends.

Exterior I own a brickred micra xl, only one week old..:) very nice car in riding, comfort, features etc. I filled rear spoiler and painted body colour for mirror & door handles, and chrome finish done for grill. It looks awsome with dark black sun control film.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It has huge space inside and really feels nice while you be inside. The bad think is, large glove compartment was shown while i gone for test drive, but was in high end version, but in xl, only single glove cabin, with very less space, and its rotary lock know lets you dowm, as alto has pull button for glove cabin, no vanity mirror:( also no pocket in seat for magazines & all..:(
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is powerful, you wont really feel as its 3 cylinder.. good pickup and smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling I driven at mximum speed of 100 km/hr, no vibration and feels really great.. looks really small car at first sight, but it has good space and comfort.
Final Words Improve in small areaes can lead this car to a leader in its segment.

Exterior The car looks NOT so impressive from the outside. Looks small but spacioius from the inside. The quality of the Paint, bumpers and even the body does not feel of the quality for the price you pay.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It has all the practical features and comforts from the inside. While Airbags is only for driver, ABS is a good feature, given the 15 ltr engine it has under the hood. there are very few usable spaces in side the car, esp No storage in the rear door. leg space is OK for, for a family of 4, its a nice comfortble car. The view from drive seat is really nice to get a full view of the road. ther could a small blind spot, however its managable as its very small.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is something NOBODY can comment on Negatively. Its absolutely fantastic even after 50000 KM ride in City and off city rides. Its the same engine as in Duster and Terrano, with tone down on power. Fuel econmy on the dasboard shows good, however I feel it may not be exactly the same. But cosidering the power, efficiency is really Noce.
Ride Quality & Handling Manouvering within city limits or even off city is really pleasure and easy. Ride quality is nice but not as nice as a Hyundai hatchbacks. The suspension and shock absorber can be better.
Final Words Overall the car is excellent as a product, but consider yourself living in India with Indian roads and driving condition. The car will ask to shell more money you send it for repairs and maintenance.
I brought from a dealer and he close in 2 months. The new one was Ritu Nissan in Mumbai, there has never been an ocassion where i had got my compliant resolved in one go. Minimum 2 visits to the service centre to resolve. NIssan any way has few service centres out of which only 1 is better. and even that better is not so good. THE CAR IS EXPENSIVE ON MAINTENANCE. The service centre is always there to take more money under the pretext of maintenance. even if the car has not covered the required KM, they will go ahead to replace the parts AND this will happen once you are out of the free service period.
FINAL WORDS Good car but HIGH ON MAINTENANCE & IN-CONSISTENT SERVICE TEAM.
