A few hours ago, Mahindra revealed the Thar Roxx in all its glory, followed by the price reveal for the base variant, which carries a tag of Rs. 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has also announced the key features of this MX1 variant, details of which are as follows.
The exterior of the 2024 Thar Roxx base variant boasts a dual-tone metal top, LED projector headlamps, LED taillights, and 18-inch steel wheels. Inside, the SUV comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, engine start-stop button, rear AC vents, USB Type-C charging ports, 60:40 split rear seats, height-adjustable driver seat, ESC, brake locking differential, and fabric upholstery. Notably, six airbags are offered across the variant lineup.
The entry-level offering in the new Mahindra Thar Roxx is available with two engine options - 2.0-litre, mStallion turbo-petrol engine developing 160bhp and 330Nm, and a 2.2-litre, mHawk diesel engine producing 150bhp and 330Nm. A six-speed manual transmission comes as standard, and these versions are available in the 4x2 guise.
