Very good car for small family

Hi all, I have been reading all the reviews about WagonR and I thought my own experience will help prospective buyers. So here it goes. I bought my WagonR VXi in Feb-2008 from SK Wheels, Navi Mumbai. If anyone from Navi Mumbai planning to buy a car, please go ahead and buy your car from SK Wheels as they are a very good dealers. Good points ============== 1. I have been driving my car for almost two years now and the car has already touched all kinds of surfaces (rough, muddy, highways, rocky). I have never faced any issues while driving this car. 2. The legroom for driver and for all the passengers is great providing utmost comfort possible in this segment. 3. The tall body structure makes it very easy to get in and out of the car as opposed to Santro/Estilo etc where taller passengers need to crouch a little. 4. As far as driving is concerned, legs can be kept in natural positions (without any slight fold) making long drives very comfortable. 5. I have not felt any backaches even after driving the car for long, thanks to the convenient sitting position. 6. This is also a very useful car when you are going on a family vacation. You can keep a lot of your stuff in dicky. 7. I get an average of 12/13 with AC and about 15 without AC. On highways the average goes upto 17 without AC. 8. Car stays very stable even when driven at 120-130 KM/h. 9. Electrically adjusted side mirrors and front power windows are BIG advantage. 10. Even after two years and 17000 KM of driving the engine does not make noise. Negative Points =================== There are a few bad points anyways. 1. No rear wiper - big disadvantage in rainy season. It really is difficult to drive at high speeds without rear wiper during rains. 2. When putting the car in reverse gear, the gear sometimes takes a few attempts to fall into place. I hope Maruti addresses this problem soon. 3. There is a noticeable drop in acceleration when driven with 3-4 passengers and AC on. 4. The front right corner column obstructs view, which causes problems especially while taking urgent right turns. As a final note, I would advice prospective buyers to go for VXi model over LXi, as you will get a lot more (Front Power Windows, ABS, iCats, Front Air Bags etc.) for a little extra amount.
