Exterior Over all Good looking, mini SUV sexy blue eyes (many stare back at baby on the road).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Tilt steering is good, nice joystick ORVM adj. Audio system is good in performance and nice in looks. Felt gear rod is more leangthy.
Central lock: Integrated Key type is uncomfirtable and it is just used to lock and unlock. We cannot locate the parked car (the remove key does not give any features). Cannot upgrade too, if so we need to attach extra remove and disable old security system buttons on the key (for VXi Maruthi would have give good security system), no coin box or chamber.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Initially felt Engine power less but after second service, the boy is jumping a bit. Nice fuel economy, I drive cautiously and get good milage o 17+ in city 21 on highway. Gear shifting is really enjoyble with Cable type. did not find any problem so far except hard at reverse.
Final Words Good service network and happy and proud user.
Areas of improvement Seat hight, plastics, Central lock (better security system).

Exterior The blue eyed tall boy is definitely the cool dude on the road. The additonal height and chrome finish on the front and rear makes all the more elegant.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice spacious interior with ample leg room for back passengers. More than enough head room for a tall guy (6') like me. Excellent road view, nice dash board with integrated music system and amazing AC. The new additonal features like 2 cup holders and passenger seat tray and much more make it more durable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good engine performance and good mileage of 17kmpl in city drive. Gear shifting is better than the older version.
Ride Quality & Handling Good!!! Amazing handling and control even on rough roads in Chennai. Tilt steering option is good. Complete and Comfortable driving experience.
Final Words When I decided to buy a new car, I reviewed (for almost 6 months) all the cars in the segment from Figo, Beat, Polo, Fabia and i10. But finally selected NEW Wagon R for its amazing value for money and excellent service. I had owned 3 cars (one old Fiat, two Maruti 800 '1996, three Maruti 800 '2001) in the past. Maruti has been THE car for me for the past 14 years. Its only 15 days of buying my new wagon R and have done 800 kms till now. I LOVE MY BLUE EYED BOY!
Areas of improvement Too soon to tell. Will write about it in my second review after 5000 kms.

Exterior The style of the car is very good. A complete professional posture. for the Vxi varient i got almost every thing except alloy wheels. e.g. body coloured mirrors n door handles, fog lamps at front and rear, 14" wheels with powder coated discs which r not available with Lxi n r galvanised ones which get corroded fast, rear washer n wiper etc. some people say that it has a box typed look but i feel it's a professional neat n clean look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Vxi is loaded with lot many features. Space in the car is the most powerfull factor for attraction. even the front seats are adjusted to the limit for backside you can comfortably seat at the backseat. the car is quite stable on highways and in city as well but at the patchy roads it slightly rolls. but the ground clearance is very good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite responsive and fuel economy we have got is 17 with 350 kms driving 50% city and 50% highways with AC 30% on. some times in city with AC on we feel some lac of power from engine. that might be because of 3 cylinders. the gear shifting needs more refinement. it is not as smooth as that of Hyoundai's. rest it is ok with resspect to its FE.
Ride Quality & Handling Good.
Final Words Very good car and value for your money. go for it instead of Santro or Spark.

For my first car, after lot of research I zeroed in on Wagon R.
a short review on my car: its a VXI model purchased in oct 2011 with few accessories like spoiler (gives a nice exterior look), USB extension, bluetooth and Parking sensor mirror.
Exterior Since I wanted the car for family, it was a simple choice, though the exteriors are not that tacky, its best for the family of 4.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best in class height, spacious cabin and good A/C. comfortable Seats and best utilized folded seats, passager seat storage. quality of plastic mould used should have been a little better.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Since its my first car I cannot compare, but its the best for the new drivers like me. I have driven 1200 kms and it has given me quite a confidence in manuvouring in traffics and on Ghats, braking and high speed driving on highways. it gives 14-15kmpl in city while on highways its surprisingly 19-20 kmpl. easy gear changes.
Ride Quality & Handling Driving the Wagon R is a real pleasure. tilted stearing is a advantage. long trip is a comfort to the passengers in terms of comfort and security as it is loaded with backseat belts for all 3. on bumpy roads a little shaky though.
Final Words Its a great Family car for long drives and trips. the height gives the advatage. Great for new drivers.
Areas of improvement Interior plastic mould and fitting quality can be improved.

getting engine noise inside the cabin,gear shift is very smooth, pick up is little bit low because it is 3 cyilender only.
fuel economy with CNG it's just like bike maintainence only. i am enjoying with the milleage.
gearbox is very smooth ,if you compare with old one.

good, but it's little bit shaking on the road .seating comfort is very very good for tall guys..breaking system also good
Final Words
any how , the maintainence is very less for wagon-r , i have vxi model and i fitted the CNG , i got overall 35+ milleage(with out AC-35 and with AC 30) in hyderabad - vijyawad highway . 4 people went to vijayawada with just 380 rupees of gas.it's amazing rgt..........................................................................................!

pick up ,need to careful on turnings,music system.no cng on vxi models . lxi features are very bad comparing to vxi.

This is my experience at 600 KMS & driving for 20 days. I am driving since 14 years & this is my 6th car.
Exterior Far better than previous versions. Blue light, beautiful hood, chrome plate at rear, body colour ORVM, handles. Even though height is increased, still I find it stable at 80.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dashboard with blue combo suits. Digital fuel indicator is accurate, Much advanced then earlier versions for features like all 4 power windows, integrated stereo. Overall quality is much better & looks neat & nice. I am 5'11" & this car is a boom for me. My wife is 5'2" & even she is comfartable driving this. Best part is very smooth clutch, no vibrations in gear lever like previous versions, ultra smooth steering (EPS). Leg space better then Ritz (yes thats true: 2360 for Ritz & 2400 for Wagon R). Boot space chopped for this leg space, but still good for a family for 3-4 days trip. Ppl who complain about inbuild stereo quality needs to check their ear. No one can expect Sound blast quality with a Nippon stereo & 4 door mountred speakers. With a good CD & volume upto 15, it solves my purpose & I am out of rest of world.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is at par as expected from 3 cylinder car. 1 cylinder is chopped to meet BS4 norms, however power has been increased by 5 BHP. I used to own Indica Vista which I sold due to too many TATA type issues & bought this car. I always compare B/W 2 even though I know they are 2 different class. But no engine noise till 80 KMPH speed. I have felt engine tend to make sound if pushed hard. Its not too rev happy car rather relaxed. So if you are running AC & lazy like me, you can drive it without changing gears. Else during sense of urgency, a quick downshift is needed. Kitna deti hai??? Well no fake reports as I have tested tank full method. For 440 kms, I spent 1950/- which includes 120 kms on NH8 GGN to Delhi & Ring Road to Rohini, 1 to & fro 115 kms from GGN to Indirapuram (Gaziabad) on weekend & rest 205 kms on typical GGN & delhi roads where reaching 4th gear looks miracle. Petrol was INR 68.46/litre. Net 15.5 KMPL wih 60% AC on. Mind it being it a new car I am holding my horses till 80 KMPH max. So I guess its giving close to 17 on low traffic roads & 14 on conjusted roads. Also I read ppl complaining pickup on 2nd gear, however I have picked my car from stand still to 40 on 2nd gear & doesn't notice difference.
All gears are smooth even Reverse is fine except 1st gear which tends to stuck once in 20 times.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality, suspension is much better then earlier version. Handling is always a Plus point for Maruti cars. Little bit of body roll seen when I was driving at 50 KMPH & was turning at a loop flyover. Rest everything else if Perfect VFM. It costed me 401000 on road GGN number with all accessories (mud flap, foot mat, temple, perfume, leather wrapped steering cover).
Gear Lock, bumper & door protector fitted from outside.
Final Words Overall a perfect family car. Reliable, easy to drive, maintain & own. Go for it.
Areas of improvement Pickup even though is fine but still feels sluggish . Again may be I have driven Quadrajet engine Vista for 30,000 KMs & close to 3 years thats why. Reversing is strange. Mirror on Windscreen gives very false idea about the distance compared to other cars I have driven. Better go for Parking sensors.

Final Words Friends I have always been a Maruti Fan, first I owned a Maruti Alto LXI for 4 years and beleive me it never gave me any single reason to be upset. It was one of the most wonderful car I drove till date.
Now I have bought a new maruti CNG Lxi & beleive me friends it was one of my most wise decision till date. I have been driving it for the last 4 months & i tis giving me amazing ride quality & fuel economy. I am very happy with the service given to me by the authorised maruti show room Auto Vista Bandra from where I got the car & especially the sales executive Mr Kiran was very very good in terms of keeping all the promises that he gave me & maintaining the delivery schedule.
Areas of improvement None as of now but wish the cng car had a automatic gear to add a feather in the cap of maruti. are u maruti guys listening.

Exterior Looks: OK. Personal opinion is that its better than the outgoing WagonR, The air-dam design(smiley) is not in sync with the otherwise boxy deisgn of the car, Rest is ok, nothing great.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good, comfortable, tall driving position. 3 fat adults in the rear is a squeeze, but legspace was not an issue even with 5'8" + tall people occupying the front seats. Featurewise, the biggest grouse i have is the price difference between Lx and Lxi. For providing Power Steering, 2 Front Power windows, central locking and tacky bits of silver here n there, the difference between Lx and Lxi is close to a whopping 40k (this is based on the on-road quotation from a Maruti auth. dealer, after considering discounts). Cmon Maruti, you could have thrown in a tachometer or 14" wheels at least in the Lxi The road noise is shielded well, and is just enough to keep you aware of the external noise.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Power is acceptable for sedate city driving (and thats what the car is primarily meant for) I test drove the Vxi (had a tacho) and there is no response from the engine below 2000 rpm I'm serious, it felt as if the accelerator pedal does not exist ! I wonder If i will ever be able to squeeze good FE from this car. After 2000 rpm th torque builds up and so does body roll, however once you gain some initial momentum things get better. I was able to climb up gentle slopes with 5 adults and the AC on AC cooling is good, with the blower on position 2, it wasnt noisy and the cabin had cooled well. The demo car did not have any sunfilm and it was in the sun for quite some time (ambient temp 30C) Gear-shift was smooth but a bit notchy, I felt the throw to be bit long. Many reviews on the internet say that it has improved over the previous WagonR
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is Good, did not get a rough patch of road or broken tarmac to test it. Handling is ok, i did experience a fair amount of body roll while taking sharp turns on a downward slope (It was enough to make me slow down to speeds of 10+ and make a gentle turn the next time)
Final Words Good of in-city rides, 4 Lakhs on-road for Lxi in Pune is a decent price.
Areas of improvement Power @ low rpms, lower versions are under-tyred(145/80 R13).

Exterior Decent looks, good that maruti has improved the looks with soft curves, it looks much better than old WagonR , with almost same price range.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very nice, a bigcar feel due to its dueltone finish, driving confort is very very nice compared to its segement cars, i am a 6feet guy so i was looking for a car with good legroom and headroom so it was wagon r, i has a option between, figo,ritz,micra,vista. vista ruled out due to family said its a cablook, micra driving confort is not so good and seating is not confortable and my friend is repenting for his choice now, ritz is very good car especially on hiways but looks are not good and maneuver is not as easy as wagonr in the city and i want a car which my wife can drive with ease, and definately i need millage and low maintanace.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is giving 15+ KMPL in city which is very good in its class.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good ride quality and gear shift is very smoth.
Final Words Its a definately a very good family car especially for city conditions.
Areas of improvement Can increase a bootspace, audio quality is not good in vxi so i shifted to lxi and got sony explode. and I was suprised that vxi and lxi has 2 different type of tyres.
Driving confort , legroom and the head room, especially the comfort back seatingLooks and not stable on very high speed beyond 120-130KMPS
