Ok, music should have been USB support. Dont know how this design got approved Features, space and comfort is very good and value of money, good leg and head room space.

Engine, fuel eco and gear are just fantastic, superb smooth. Still first service to go, 15.25 kmpl with AC in Hyd city.
Ride Quality & Handling
Very smooth and easy going on rough roads.
Final Words
Again, 3 cant sit at back seat. How this got missed MS? Atleast should have been matched to Santro Xing width to fight with i10 and Beat, Ride Quality & Handling, Very smooth and easy going on rough roads, Good leg and head room space.

Overall better than the previous model, which looked like a soap case! Tyres in the lower end models are horribly thin (145!) and is really seems dangerous for wet road driving!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Plastic quality is not in the class. But as also in Old WagonR, very good driving space for the diver.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Sluggish, gets stalled even if you move your feet slightly more on the clutch on 1st and 2nd gear, can't really expect anything more with that power and torque figures. Beat is much better option with the same price tag in terms of power.
Fuel economy, if ccompared with the ARAI figures, looks identical to its competitors.
Ride Quality & Handling
Not much different than the previous one, steering looks better that old WagonR though. Lower end models has been horribly compromised (to cut the cost and increase Maruti's profit) on tyre, the worst tyre size in the just below 4 Lakh price zone, defintely a major concern on safety, even on road gravels the car seemed unstable!
Final Words
Better not go for the just below 4 Lakh zone for this car due to bad ride quality as I've stated above, if you want to go for it - go for the higher end ones (On road around 4.5 Lakh), in which ride quality is not compromised. Otherwise Beat is a better option for the below 4 Lakh zone.
Areas of improvement
Tyre in the lower end models, Interior Plastic, but above all - the "most hyped" K series engine from Maruti - which does not even beat its competitors (same price range) in terms of power and torque delivered!

Exterior It really looks an improved design in frnt but still looks the same frm rear but overall nice design as it is already successful.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are nice, integrated music system look very kool, but who are very partucular about sound quality may not like it. the space under frnt passanger seat is a great innovation. power mirrors feel good to operate especially left one. rear seats are comfortable in city drives but bit bumpy at high speeds. fabric seats are nice. plastic quality shud hav been better it is nt up to the mark. nice headroom and leg room am a 6.3 tall guy and i feel very comfortable in it and adjustable steering is addition to it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.0 ltr engine feels bit underpowered but ideal for city drives, engine really cries wen we shift 1st to 2nd wen we want to rev it. gear shift is very very smooth like cuttin butter with knife, as maruti is trusted for good fuel eficiency wagorn r gives 16-18 on highway and 15 in city.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is ok ok not excellant like ford figo n handling is better dan previous model.
Final Words A nice family car. if ur budget is between 4-4.5 and fuel efficiency is ur preferance plzzz go for it widout thinkin anything.

Exterior Just love it. while its standing its height is almost equal to innova, color beige blue is best, looks very much masculine and a proud car to own. Feels like a mini SUV owner.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) From driving to old zen and santro, sure its much more spacious and comfort. Cup holders are unique and very useful. Steering looks smaller when compared to zen, no arm rest, ac excellent, tons of space for my 1 yr hero to jump and make noise :). Dashboard is good, a bit of silver looks good, however a space like in old wagonr above glove box would have been nice. Though no vanity mirror, no rear door power windows, my family just love the car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Lacks performance in terms of power, 1st and Reverse gear not smooth, Economy 21-22/kg of cng. the button to drive either on cng or petrol is quite helpful.
Ride Quality & Handling Just smooth and easy to drive on tough traffic. Not yet used to reverse properly but installing reverse sensor will definately help.
Final Words A must to drive and fun to enjoy. Long drives are a pleasure to go. A must for my family and my 1 yr hero.
Areas of improvement More interior luxury than outside is nice. Once inside its just and must be enjoyale to relax and drive.

A nice stylish car upgraded from the old looks. A bit sportiness added to the taste. Wide doors help you to move in and out more easily. Feels heavier than its predecessor. Chrome styling looks great.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Great interiors with smartly utilization of limited space like cupholders in dash board in all versions, under seat tray in VXi version. Leg room is improved at the rear but the boot space have been bit decreased. Five can accommodate in the car with not much issue. Features are good concerning to the top model. Front seat can be glided to make a bed adding value to the comfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine- K series 1litre engine with better power (68) comparing to old(65). The engine have been performing good in its other partners like A star moreover Maruti's K series engine is already a success story. Gearbox is all new cable shift. Maruti claims fuel economy of 18.9 km/l which would practically range around 16-17 km/l which is pretty decent.
Ride Quality & Handling
After a short test drive the car feels pretty fine on roads. Going forward the ride quality have been always good when linked to WagonR's.
Final Words
Wagon R the old new name have got a new body with new heart with enhanced features. The overall package is good and stands good on the meter of Value for Money. The pricing of the car is competitive and have not been increased much(an extra advantage), means you are getting a better product at old price.

Basically I am a die hard fan of Wagon R. Some people may not like this review. Ultimately at the end you can judge whether it is genuine or not.
We see some people preserving some cars like Maruti 800, Ambassador even after 20 years of their usage as an antique piece and in remembrance of their elders. In our current generation this is one of that kind.
Wagon R Vxi fulfils all the needs( Power steering,4 power windows, Inbuilt audio system etc:) at this price range of Rs.5 lakhs.
When ever we buy an automobile or electronic gadget we need to see what value it carries after few years of usage. Apart from usage of this car for years togrther you still get the minimum resale value(if at all you have an intention to sell) as it is next to Maruti Suzuki SWIFT models in seconds car sale in India.
The drive feel is too good as the space is huge for driver's operating area which even most of the high cost premium cars lack.
The height of the car is highly comfortable to get in and get out. When you become older in age then you can understand the importance of it.
You hardly feel tired even after driving more than 300 kms continuously.
5 people can comfortably travel.
Of course being a small car the boot space may sometimes seem to be limited.
Without any hesitation if you are from a middle class family and have no intentions of changing the car for at least 10 years please go for it. Repeated investment on automotives and electronics for a middle class person is huge loss because of their rupee value depreciation.
Ignore negative reviews: They are individual specific and moslty their cars might have been driven badly by inexperienced drivers or multiple drivers which makes any engine to fall in to worst condition.
Do not give too much priority for exterior cosmetics. No car till the price range of 10 lakhs can beat the interior comfort of Wagon R. Comfort of 10 lakhs at a price of 5 lakhs. Its a double bonanza.
One more good part of this car is its low cost maintainance. Over all its a budget car for middle calss mates.
Areas of improvement Make ABS and AIR bags which are for safety as mandatory features even at the low end models. Manufactures must not encash on safety.Even though if the prices are high have less variation.
In other countires all these features will be there even in the low end models.
If you want you can always encash on comforts like in build audio, power windows Automatic transmission etc:
The dealer's staff are not so confident in detailing about CNG and AMT versions. Please do the needful to train them.

I suggest PLEASE read till end IF YOU ARE REALLY GOING TO BUY WAGON R. I would like to describe by steps:
1. Thought of purchasing a car with in budget of 3-4 lac.
2. So my first choice was Alto 800, but its too small for my family( we are 5 members ).
3. After a deep thought Changed my mind to buy wagon r (that time they are running offer of up to 40 k discount, LATER discovered they run the offer 365 days).
4. Happily bought my NEW FIRST CAR.
5. VERY SMOOTH NICE CAR, (Showroom guys given a small chocolate box may be worth 10 Rs.) + some gift vouchers+5 liter petrol coupon.
6.Filled the tank full petrol.
7. After 260 kms fuel meter started blinking ..( thought that we run more AC and its the month of January and its hot)
8. After 30 days got a call for my first service
9. I took my car to their service center and I was VERY VERY HAPPY with their WELCOME but my happiness gone in just 2 minutes when I REJECTED them from doing TEFLON protection and RUST PROTECTION. I became strangers to them.
10. Service done!! Overall about the service. OK!!
11. Till Second service which is after 6 months. I found that their is very low pickup and very low.
12. When I visited for Second service I told them about the pick up they told me that its a K series engine so, for better mileage their will be a LESS PICKUP and when I told them about the mileage they replied IN CITY CONDITIONS the average will be 12-14 only BUT I AM GETTING ONLY 10KMPL. No response from SERVICE Persons.
13. Finally second service Done!!
14. Now I am only getting 10 KMPL in city conditions. (on highway I got around 16 KMPL on express highway only)
15. Now 9500 KMS done with my wagon r with in the spam of 10 months around 75000 petrol it has been consumed with less pickup EVEN MORE LESS PICK UP IF AC IS ON. If you get any ghat road type then you have to use 1 or 2 gear with compulsorily AC off.
16. And waiting for my 3 rd service which will in next 2 months ( Dec 2013 ) LETS HOPE FOR GOOD SERVICE AND MILEAGE. HOPE.
17. Last but not the least I got a feedback mail from MARUTI about their service I replied what I mentioned in this mail. GUESS what, that was the last mail from them. ha ha (as expected) My suggestions Go for CNG or diesel vehicle. or try any other CAR. Exterior Bold new exteriors and one will keep admiring the blue eyed boy for a long time.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Cup holders, rear door child safety locks, foldable rear sears, tilt adujstable steering, dual horn, Electrical ORVMs, central locking with alarm facility in VXi and many more things.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine gets hot quickly, low fuel economy in cities and a better gearbox and cable type gearshift is so nice.
Ride Quality & Handling Maruti Suzuki's quality is the best and has the best resale value. Handling depends on the user whether he is a rough and tough guy or a soft guy. Overall handling of the car is very nice.
Final Words Better decision to buy wagon r than to buy hyundai i10,ford figo, new alto k10 and others cars between the price range.
Areas of improvement Steering mounted audio control, better power and mileage, powerful A/C at lower speeds, rear A/C vents are the areas to be improved.

Exterior It's really very good car. I got my car on 7-Aug-11 from Gem Motors @ Hyderabad and till date I have covered 100 Kms.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is really good. Space is very good. Spl. for person height is more than 5.5. Negative point is no space to carry more than 1 ltr water bottel.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent, no major pickup issue with LPG or Petrol.
Ride Quality & Handling Best in it's segment.
Final Words It's really value for money car. I have drive car in LPG & petrol mode. You will get little less pick-up in LPG mode but car can be manage with slight push on acceletor. Car is having very good driver seating position.
Areas of improvement Need more space to carry bags and water bottels. Car should have more space in doors and front panel to keep some documents.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Smart space, i am 6'2'' tall guy and ill give 10/10 marks for space even at the back seat too, comfort is also remarcable, Features depends on the person to person coz in LXI CNG u wont get many from company. yes the main thing in LXi CNG that there is no boot space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Friends this is the main part- the all new K- Series Engine Rock's. zero Engine Noise, Smooth driving, and very good in handling, the new gear box is very comfrtable and very handy too. now its time for a fuel so friens on CNG it dose very well and on petrol as well, on cng it gives rupee per KM avg.

Final Words Friends I was comparing sentro and wagon r, then I decide to go for Wagon R, its definatly value for money, its not just a car, its a Smart Car. Stop Thinking and comparing, just go for it.
