Good car

To begin with i am not an expert driver i just started driving a few months ago. Thought I would give my opinion of my car. Our car is a new 2018 swift vxi, magma grey in colour. We bought in March itself. It is our first car. In the exterior, i like the overall design of the car. The new grill, the new headlights with led projectors and DRLs in top end variants, the new rear lamps etc. I love the new design on the rear door were the door handle is kept by the side of the c pillar. Maruti has almost succeeded in giving it a 3 door feel, even though the door lines are visible. But the area below the side window were the door handles usually appear feels kind of empty. In the front the new grill gives it a sporty feel. The headlights in our car feels simple. It would have been better if maruti had given it that black effect like in the elite i20 for the lower variants. The portion for the fog lamps feels little boring as it is fully covered. They should have kept slots for the fog lamps like in the 2nd generation model. Maruti should stop their policy of providing all the features only to the top variants, atleast in the exterior. In the rear I am glad they provided led tail lamps across all the variants. They could have given parking sensors for the vxi variant. They should have provided with larger wheels, atleast the 15 inch ones from the z variants. The space between the tyres and the wheel arch is so big that they destroy the whole beauty of the car. Coming to the interior, I like the whole black interior, although many people prefer beige colour over black. The music system is super and contains Bluetooth connectivity, and the beautiful flat bottom steerings wheel has audio and call controls in it, the 2 features I wanted very much. AC is brilliant, but I wish it had those beautiful AC control knobs from the z variants. The seats are very comfortable and knee room is more than enough for us. I don't know about others, but 3 from my family can comfortably sir in the back seat I don't know much about its perfomance and driving pleasures. But I love my car very much.
