I like maruti Swift having good control over road I was going to chandigarh in early morning at over a speed on 80 km/hour sudenly one turn come and i was behind the Bus, insteed on turning i went to the closed road some small barrier was there car was hit by those barrier and jump over two foot. i thought know it is time to go and remenber the God but because car was good was safe without any injuries but all the tyers was get flat and front part was badly damage. This was because it was maruti Swift

I have seen this model on the road, small verson is too small. Shape is not good looking.
But Big model with sufficient space in dicki is good. I have take trial of my freind car, the diesel verson is also just like petrol car.Noise of Firing is minimal.
Fuel economy is very good in comparison of other cars. I have Fiat Uno since 8 years, I am geeting good result of said car. Still I'm getting good fuel economy. I therefore, decided to buy good fuel efficiancy car like SWIF Diesel. Furthermore, if it is of Maruti comapy, then it won't be a problem of services and availability of spare parts in future.
May be I will be a owner of SWIFT DESSIRE model in May 2009.

Maruti in the joint venture with Suzuki of Japan was well known for its Petrol version Family cars till the time they lauched diesels in Zen and Esteem. Despite having good machines in them from peogeot, they couldn't get considerable sell may be due to its image as an Petrol car Makers.
But things changed after the launch of Swift Diesel with an enigne from fiat. This multijet from fiat give good power and torque for the weight of swift and can be put in the compition with petrol version as far as smoothness and acceleration are consirned. Top variant with an Automatic Climate Control AC and many other features of this car makes it for small families of four.
Along with its own features what important is ASS (after sales service). I need not explain the to prove my point to go for Swift Diesel in stead of Getz CRDi.
Only problematic area is boot size. But it is still a good bargain.

In short Swift is "the car" from Maruti suzuki stable. It has excellent styling to go along with its super performance power wise , economy wise.
It's european looks are to die for , no matter the car is in heavy demand all over the country with huge waiting periods.
It is no surprise that it has become fastest selling vehicle on Indian roads with over more than 3 lakh cars already on road within 3 yrs of its launch.
All credits to Maruti suzuki for coming up with such a winner.
It is a perfect balanced vehicle for young and upwardly mobile people.

I bought a Swift VDi in April 2008 & since then itz just been a pleasure & my love for this Car has grown with each passing day........ Itz comfortable for the family & the Driver, One does not feel tired even after a very long drive, the pickup, speed, control, gear shift, fuel economy are all awesome... Its almost being a year now & I've driven it a staggering 25,000 Kms.... & still it does not ask for anything else than the usual routine chekup & oil change etc........
I'll say I'm a very satisfied customer with the Swift Vdi & I do recommed this car to all my Friends & Family members........
Even the after sale service experience has been good and I think the maruti people should enchance the electronic options more in this segment also, as they've been done in the Swift Desire's upper end model, specially features like auto climate control for the A/c & the Music Control on the Steering Wheel.....

has the interiors of a sports car with black finish and silver rims. Though it looks good in a new car, I am very skeptical on the how well the interiors will suit in dusty Indian environment. I like Getz interior though.
Comfort and Practicality
what matters for a normal Indian is how comfort and usable the car is for daily usage and for short trips.
Storage space
What Swift lacks is the storage space found on many competitive models. Wagon R has tones of storage space in the dash board. Indica has thoughtful spaces for the driver.
Swift has a plain stylish dash. There is one glove compartment, not very big though. There is a utility space on the center console, good enough to hold mobile phones and wallet. As usual door pockets and seat pockets. What disappoints me more is the absence of under seat parcel tray.

I own the swift diesel for almost 2 years now & i just love it. it has got excellent pick up, gr8 mileage, good looks & is really worth the money spent
I get around 18 kms kmpl with AC on. The car is very spacious & has ample leg room & seats are very comfortable & relaxing to sit on. The boot is a bit small tough.
The Engine is very powerful & it has got a gr8 top spped & even at high spped the car does not wobble. its so stable like u riding on 60 kmph.
No regrets for buying this beast

Fantastic Car. The first car i bought and probably the best car i will ever have. There is so much into it that there is no end to the pro's i might have to mention. good fuel economy, good steering response, amazing comfort n space for a small segment car, easy to modify ;) and has a good choice of colors. Ofcourse there could be more choices inside, and since i took the basic model, probably didnt get most of it. but whatever it takes, its amazing and has more to it than i ever thought. no matter what it takes, this is one car i wil keep in my safety deposit, for a long time use. spacing in the boot is good enough, enough for baggage and stuff. so no worries about it being a small segment, since it doesnt even feel like one. overall, nothin beats it in the segment ! I am a fond lover of M800. When I set to drive the Swift dzire bought by my nephew, it was an exciting experience to know that with several features and conviniences the car was moderately priced, which I felt it is true value for money.
Starting and setting in to motion were smooth and swift. A handy gear rod and convinient front vision are the first to impress the driver. Then the driving seat and steering. Chiiled AC and good stereo - everything is OK.
But I feel that stability of the vehicle may need some improvement as I experienced some wobbling at 95-110 kmph. My openion about shape of the car is that it will be splenid in the shape of M800. Can Maruti udyog offer a model combining M800 shape and Alto LXI features for office goers and small distance travellers?
