      Exterior: Exterior looks are purely a personal thing and I really like the Ertiga. I have added a rear spoiler and graphics to the ZDI white and it looks fab. Well, you dont need my review here, just go and check out if you are liking it. One thing worth mentioning is the colors: the color choices available are poor. Only white, red and blue are good and nothing is great.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Very Comfortable seats. You can adjust middle row to make space for the rear passengers. The rear seats are really comfortable. Much better than mobilio and better than even the Innova 7 seater's third row. Biege interiors get dirty very fast. The dash looks good but is the same as the swift dezire.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: The diesel engine is really peppy. You would not feel any lag when there are 3-4 passengers and some luggage. But when u are carrying 6-7 and luggage you will feel a bit underpowered. The gearbox is smooth and nice and you get 18-20 mileage on highways. Diesel engine is a bit noicy but the cabin is very well insulated and you will not feel it. Also noice reduces as drive b/w 50-80

      Ride Quality & Handling: Ride quality is the best thing about the ertiga. It is very comfortable to travel. the large windows add to the feel

      Final Words: At about 10L on road (after discounts) This is a steal. In the same price bracket you would not find any other car providing similar value. Ertiga = Value for each penny

      Areas of improvement: Boot Space, Climate control A/C could add to the vehicle's comfort

      Exterior Exteriorss are good for this price

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Many minor issues which should have been taken care of like, rear ac duct noisy (Sai service were not able to fix this since last six months), Air escapes in the cabin while speeding (Sai service people sorted out 50%, 50% they are unable to sort out), Can not say it is a comfortable car.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Bit under power but ok for the mileage.

      Ride Quality & Handling Except driver seat all other seats have a horrible ride if not laden with much weight.

      Final Words If you are looking for low price cheap option it is ok. If you are non Maruti user dont even think about it.  Routine servicing very expensive. They say they use synthetic oil but I doubt whether they even bother to change oil as oil looks black even after servicing. My vehicle's jack got faulty at first puncture itself and they took 25 days to replace it. Any problem to resolve takes weeks and I was late for third servicing by few hundred kms and they charged exxtra!!!

      Exterior The all around looks gives an appealing feel. Front is in familier shape, though some changes could have given freshness. Side profile resembles Innova with exception of third row glass, looks gracefull. Back also resembles Innova & is gud, but, the tail lamp unit does not do justice with the overall looks of the vehicle. It should hav gone somewhat in vertical, enhancing height psycologically. 

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All is said & heard about interier space. What I felt here is that An auto climate control, cooled glove box, Armrests for driver & Co-driver, Third row spilt seat 50:50, Rear park assist/sensor should hav been included for at leat Top model. A further increase in price to the tune of 40-50 K for top model could hav been easily digested for all this stuff.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is gud one, tested tried, proved. But turbo lag is felt easily in low rpms. Once u cross 1800 rpm, u gets the taste of 200 nm of Torque. we could feel the gravity drag, when i pushed my foot little in gear 3, & with 6 ppl on board. IMMPRESSIVE... how says the car is under powered. FE is to b seen practically, theoratical figures r xcellent. Gear box is super smooth, with short throws, which is very easy to operate. One does not feel that he is driving little big vehicle.

      Ride Quality & Handling Its all guud. 15" TL Tyers do well. 185 mm of GC gives a boon to driver, on Indian roads.

      Final Words Smart Pack, Badda Dhamaaka.

      Areas of improvement Plz change Tail light unit & accomodate few of the suggestions given above.

      2. Feel a more Contoured body would have been nice...I mean large wheel archs etc...

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 😊 I am 5.8 set the  Driver's seat to liking did the same with the 2nd and the 3rd. Was able to suit in the 3rd row with adequate comfort. You would be suprised with the quantum of space in the 3rd row.

      Getting into the 3rd row is not comfortable. Ladies with sarees would definately not want to get into the 3rd row. The AC is just great, 2nd row vents are more than enough for both the 2nd and the 3rd rows.

      I am a great fan of XUV 500 and really wanted to buy it, seeing the kind of quality issues that the car is now facing...well Ertiga does seem the sensible choice.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 😊 Well its an existing platform, so expect great performance like the swift and Ritz. Having said that with 7 people in the car with Luggage expect the car to be Tortoiseish when it comes to pickup.

      Ride Quality & Handling: 😊 Drove the car over a lot of pot holes and the drive was just great; Since, I drove the diesel car the shock absorbing was very good. Body role is evident when you turn at speeds above 40 Kms; other than that it is just like driving a Swift/Ritz.

      Final Words 😊 Great car, even for long rides; low on snob value & looks! great practical mover with a frugle engine. Don't even think of racing :)

      Areas of improvement  Its a real blunder that the 3rd row ingress is such an hassle, No leather seats on the higher end ZDI, no Climate control! & Cruise control. When you design a car for long distance come on add cruise control...its totally worth it!!!

      Exterior Looks quite good. This is a new entry from Maruti. Very good and successful attempt. It does not look like a usual "truck" like SUVs. It looks like a mid sized car. It is visually appealing. I find it better than Ritz from Behind.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are like any other Maruti Car. Seats are not elegant. You may want to go for elegant seat covers. Dashboard is pretty normal. Nothing special. It looks comfortable. Certainly not elegant. But there is nothing repelling. Its normal.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Did not have test drive yet.

      Ride Quality & Handling Did not have test drive yet.

      Final Words Looks like very good car. Good features. Good Mileage. Good Price ...all that a small indian family would need.

      Areas of improvement  Perhaps they could have stretched the car 1 feet more to accomodate more leg room for the third row passengers, which seems to be manageable at the moment, but certainly not spacious.

      OVERALL GOOD CAR. I PLAN TO BOOK AN ERTIGA THIS WEEK ITSELF.

      LUV at home price, just right for small familywhen two guys sit in the last row. Middle row cant be inclined.

      Exterior The exterior is decent, should appeal to everyone. Front end is better than the rear. The rear is little bland because of the ordinary tail lamp design. But overall, from the sides it looks great and you cant make out that it is vehicle which can accomodate 7-8 people from the front. I liked the alloy wheels, though the older alloys on SX4 would have been better.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The fit and finish of the interiors is good considering the price. There is ample amount of space if the seating is adjusted intelligently and it can easily accomodate 7 - 8 adults who are reasonably built. All those people who complain of third row space speak without really experiencing the vehicle for long time are really not correct. Surely you can ask for the best leg room for all seats but not at this price point. Even innova does not have great leg room in the third row considering that it is easily a bigger vehicle in all the three dimensions. The beauty of this vehicle is the intelligent management of space which allows a wheel base which is just 10 mm less than innova and >6 lakhs lower price point. Yes, when the third row is folded fully, the leg room in the second row is slightly reduced (if the head rest of third row is removed it would help). Fabric color, interior colors, dashboard is great, i think enough has been written in reviews and i dont think i can add anything new.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is quite smooth and the NVH is very low thanks to good sound deadening material used especially considering how close the front of the car is to the engine. The pick is ok with turbo lag till the rpm reaches 2000, but is still manageable considering that i drive in the bumper to bumper traffick of Bangalore. I have noted a FE of 12 - 14 Kms in the city and 17 - 19 Kms on the high way after completing nearly 8000 kms. The FE has improved from the initial days and assume it would improve further after 10000kms. The dashboard Avg mileage information however is vague, probably captures the best mileage recorded till then, not sure how it works as it never correlates with the  full tank to full tank calculations. Gearbox is surely better than some of the older maruti vehicles (eg my old swift 2005 VXI) but can be improved when it is compared to other competitors in this price point, including sedans.

      Ride Quality & Handling I really love the high seating position, and the great ground clearance. Till now i can remember only once the chasis touching a monstrous road hump, slightly stiff suspension and the ground clearance have been really the saviours. They have really prevented  multiple daily heart aches which would surely happen with a honda city or honda civic or hyundai cars with soft suspension and low ground clearance. I dont find any difficulty in manovering the vehicle considering that i graduated from a small hatch (swift) to this vehicle. The road grip is good even in high speeds over 100 and the body roll is not bad either when compared to other SUVs/ MUVs.

      Final Words Great car to own and drive, suitable for both regular office commute and weekend getaways. The price of this car is a real killer of competition and the reliable Maruti service and time tested engine are the icing on the cake. I booked the car on the day of its launch without even a test drive and dont regret my decision till date. Surely loved the attention on the road during the initial months of ownership when people used to ogle, tap on the window and ask typical Indian phrase 'mileage yeshtu' (what's the mileage in Kannada).  

      Areas of improvement Driver seat arm rest can be easily provided in the current space and the wheel size could be increased to 16 inch. Roof rails for luggage also should be standard for all the models. Some improvement on the pick up and reduction in turbo lag would be great but considering the size of the engine it is fine, hope if they can get the 1.6 litre diseal it would change. Bluetooth with steering mounted call control can be great addition to this already good vehicle. The rear view camera and reverse parking sensors can also be a standard feature for top end atleast.

      Exterior the styling is better than inova. in the new anniversary edition the front grills come with silver and makes the vehicle very unique. :)

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)interiors are very comfortable particularly the second row of the car feels like god! because the second row also has the pushback options with front and back side hence makes a great ride than any other car.... considering the music system in zdi the looks are great, but the controls in it is not fair. we cant select a song on the play of another song like i20 and etc.. cars. a song can be heared after selecting directly or changing one by one.... but the rest is very good. the third row is also very good. two members can be seated perfectly.and the back two rows are fully foldable. and the roof ac vents are great.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:the car fells very good for driving. it is very smooth to drive.regarding mileage it is very economical.gearbox is like butter changable.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling: excellent riding and it is with abs with ebd. great to handle.

       

      Final Words: ertiga is a very sutiable car for small and big families.it is a all time season luv.

      everyone will defneatly like it. can buy with out any doubts of thinking. good product from suzuki. finally it is the innova for the middle class families.! :)

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Could have better state-if-art car feature

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Amazing, value for money, less noisy comapre to other diesel cars. I also tried Ethios..but Ertiga is better in term of engine noise adn certainly space...though competing in price.

      Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth and comfortable, Streeing movement is great

      Final Words LUV seagment is good innovation in Indian Car segment. Will certainly beat Innova, Force, Mahindra. Ertiga is a car which can you surely drive daily to communte your office as its not that much bulky..Important think is though comming some where in SUV category ..even give the feel of executive one. Best for joint and nuclear family too. There are some additional feature which some one can easily augumented from shops like GPS and attractive cover sheet .As it not commming with lether sheet. Ideally all top model should be equipped with all advance top features of market. Don't know why maruti did not suporting that. Any why additional things are not that much costiler. So going forward you can always enhance interior ad some where exterior too. I tried other sedan car too. Feasta, sunny, Ethio, Verna. All are giving very attractive features in their top model. Other bad story is, if you are booking Ertiga or any Maruti car. Your actual invoiceing will be some where differ..beacuse they are not considering the booking date amount. Rather invoicing date (in case of loan ) and theie is the catch. Any way its overall good decision for them who wan't SUV type compact car in max 10L price ( diesel ).

      Areas of improvement Interior and color variant. Normally people prefer Black color for SUV segment; however it not available.
