Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: RIDE IS COMFORTABLE, I WAS DRIVING SX4 EARLIER AND THE DRIVE IS AS GOOD AS SX4, YOU CAN SAY THE HANDLING IS BETTER THAN SX4 AS SX4's STEERING IS HARD. YOU GET LITTLE WEARY ON GEAR SHIFTS AS THEY ARE SHORT AND TAKES TIME TO GET COMPLETE TORQUE BUT ITS AVOIDABLE ON LONG DRIVES. FUEL ECONOMY IS STILL ON TEST AS I AM DRIVING IT FROM PAST FEW DAYS ONLY, BUT AS ON PAPERS ITS GREAT.

Overall, Maruti has done a good job which is affordable with excellent mileage as per published data. Interior design should have been better as well the 3rd row access is not easy with no AC vent for 3rd row. Storage space is very limited in this segment. This might looks attractive however the luxury is missing in it. Expect better comfort interior design with good AC vent at 3rd row. The design team should work towards building a better MPV / LUV with affordable price which can compete with the existing MPV / SUV in the market. As Maruti brand name is proveen in the market, they need not to spend more money for advertising instead they can invest in the R&D Dept to come up with the excellent MPV with milieage which is missing in all existing MPV / SUV Segment in the present market. All indian wants a good MPV with best milieage and good interiors with affordable pricing.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent sittign capacity, great outllok, interior good spacing, enough hegiht, the ususal best maruti service, good milage, even with higher sittign capacity- no issues in driving on small roads, safety wise very good, and you can carry lot many luggage, which is more imp.
Ride Quality & Handling Riding quality/ comfort and esaniness is just fabiluos.
Final Words One should buy ertiga, it's best car I have ever seen, I will suggest the same. It's really a family car, you can go for outing, you can travel to any place and it is really good to be with family and very goodf amount of bag storage capacity if not utilised the sitting capacity fully.
Maruti is as usual perfect and well suited cars for indian roads and human requirements. so go get it.
Areas of improvement Power can be improved in next evrsions. But no other specific suggestions are from my side to mention here at this point of time now.

Exterior Very Good, looks like Ritz. It could have been made further better like INNOVA.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome. Excellent interior. Giving Arm Rest in 1st row could have made this vehicle more valuable and made driving easy. Arm Rest in 2nd row could have been made still better.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very Good. Good pick up particularly after 2000 rpm. Fuel economy is uncomparable. I have driven around 12000 KM so far on all type sof roads, inluding highways. Mileage on highway without AC in between 20 - 21 KMPL. However in City with AC it is more than 15 KMPL.
Ride Quality & Handling Awesome. Like a Car.
Final Words Perfect MUV. Value for the money. for self driving, better than all the vehicles in this segment. Go for it without any second thought.
Areas of improvement Missing Arm Rest in 1st Row, Missing Defogger and rear wiper in VDi and VXi Model. Vehicle could have been made around 06 inches longer to increase the boot space with 3rd row sitting. Front look could have been improved, atleast like SX4 or on the pattern of INNOVA.

Exterior is fine but way too similar to the rits.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors fine as usual.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engines good doesn't junkfeel as said below 17.3liter on highway.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling is fine but the antilock braking systems doesn't work and the tyre skids at good speeds, the brakes need improvement as well. I don't know but if it's the same dzire brakes than its way too risky to drive the car above 100 Kms.
Final Words Maruti needs to do some thing about the suspensions, I have already driven 11657 Kms on the highway in 3 months. It won't last for more than a year. The last car I drove was the etios vd it was awesome. I have done 176000kms in it. Still working but in city now.
Areas of improvement Suspensions are bad at the rear. The Car is heavy for the existing suspensions. I ypthink the inoova suspensions are much better at least it doesn't jump.

Exterior Very good looking interior. The front is like Ritz as everyone says but looks good. Back is like Swift which is also good. In top end you have front and rear fog lamp with rear wiper which gives a good look. Over all the look is of a Car and is good for City as well as highway.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Feature wise Ertiga is fully loaded. Simply accomodates 7 people. With 7 people their is not space for luggage. Can acocmodate bag or two. The Seat and interior plastics are of good quality. It should have the climate control option which is only con.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Diesel engine is very good. With all 7 people on the up hill have to come on first gear but if slope is very stiff. Rest all 7 people loaded it runs like anything without any problem. As I said the egine is not very powerfull so not good for transport.
Ride Quality & Handling It is evry smooth in ride. The suspension is not like Sedan but then it is not sedan. Rest it runs very smooth and gear handling is also good.
Final Words This is very good car and made for joint failies who have situation many time to accomodate 7 people. and also can be used for city travel without any problem.
Areas of improvement Should have been 20 com more in length. Engine could have been 1.5 ltr. Rest no complaints.

Exterior Could have been better if they had given a sporty look, looks have not under worked on by Maruti. The front looks like a copy fthe Ritz.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comforbable. The ZXI is a fully loaded car, could have been better if they had put in climate contrl A/C, bluetooth.and a cruise control.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Nothing to complaing about, cruises preety well on the highway and even in crowded city rodas, the drive is pretty comfortable.
Ride Quality & Handling Very very stable ride, specially if have to encounter bad rough roads.
Final Words A great buy, definately value for money for the kind of features it offers. Highly recommeneded.

Exterior Side cladding, door scratch protectors should be packaged for high end version. Looks need to be worked upon to peppy up other wise bland looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) AC vents is real good. Interior looks pretty spacious and fresh. Light beige colur could easily get spoilt due to dust and normal wear tear. So bit of dark shade would be great.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It performed excellently on high way than within city. Gear box troubled at 4-5th gear shift some times. Fuel economy is stragenly par less than claimed of 20+. People say it would improve after 2 services.
Ride Quality & Handling No big complaints though at 160 KMPH vehicle gave bit of shake.
Final Words Overall value for money car. With minor tweaks on looks and engine upgrade it can be a pefect competion to INNOVA.
Areas of improvement Catchup with INNOVA in all aspects.
