Result of 3-month and 18-car research-Ciaz

I purchased the new ciaz petrol Alpha automatic last year in October. Before purchasing this car, I had taken test drive of almost 18 cars in the less than 20 lakh budget. all sedans where petrol automatic. out of all the cars I test drove I had shortlisted three cars The volkswagen Vento , the Maruti ciaz and Hyundai Verna. The ciaz Automatic was not available at that moment for a test drive and I had to wait for 1 and half month. Vento was very stable, very strong, cheaper and had a very smooth automatic drivetrain. the only drawback was the rear bench space. Verna was a bit expensive, the features were more but the ride quality and the rear bench space was not as much as the Ciaz. I chose the Ciaz because of its value for money, the smoothness of automatic transmission and the ride quality. however the build quality is not up to the mark as the body is not strong. but features wise, this was the only car to get ESP along with ABS and EBD. the fuel mileage is around 13 on the highway and 11 in the City which is expected out of this big sedan. it has been almost over a year that i am driving this car and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. But 4 stars coz of inferior built quality!
