I first got my car on the 3rd of November, was lucky enough to be one of the first consumers, or so i thought.
its been around 9 months now, and while i have driven on 10,000 Kms so far, i have noticed one VERY VERY BIG FLAW. the ciaz, while it is a spacious and well designed car, it is simply TOO LIGHT.
The slightest pot hole and the entire car starts to rattle, from the dash board through the car and right upto the storgae boot.
I have a 7 year old I10 that makes less rattling sounds than my Ciaz.
When i told the service centre about these noises, their reply was, "sir it is a light car and there is not much we can do about it!"
My car had been called back to replace a faulty part of the gear box, that was in January. Its been 6 months since and i'm facing the very same problem again. Have to hand the car over for servicing again.
The lightness of the car can be felt on the suspension even when driving with only 4 people. Get a little nervuos when driving over 100 with a full car for fear that i might lose a wheel, or the car might not stop in time because of the extra weight.
Please test drive the car properly before making any decision.
i Made a hasty decision and i'm now paying the price.

Exterior Good styling ,specially in copper (duster) colour.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All features,awesome space,(unmatched leg space).i am 5 ft 11 inches and easyily a person of 6 ft can sit behind me in ciaz.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good and gearbox is awesome,doesnt feel like u r driving diesal,no sound inside the car.unmatxhed fuel economy i have driven 2000 kms and it is giving average of 20kmph plus. I also have ertiga but ciaz is awesome and way way ahead in driving
Ride Quality & Handling Awesome handling and ride quality,i have been on highways and it cruises so well from 60 to 150 kmph u will not need to change gears.it can rum in 5th gear easy.
Final Words A superb value for money,best buy in segment at the moment.u could save around 3 lakhs if u buy ciaz over city. The best maruti i have driven till date.
Areas of improvement Should add cruise control and electric sunroof.

Exterior Very slim and Good looking outlook of car,from side view look likes c class mercedies,projector head lamps get extra classly look from front,rear side also look reach feel for car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very nice desined interrior, all fuctions fitted conveniently for driver,but plastic parts are poor quality, very spaciues for rear passenger then front, suspention is very good and soft comper to other maruti cars.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Simply gret desinged for economical,smooth punch engine.intial pickup is poor but after 2000 rpm of engine turbo kicks speed. Incovenient in city driving and very cool for long drive.i m crossed 40000 km. my experience is very good. i feel fresh after long highway driving from pune to manglore about 750 km because of soft suspenction and space. i get milage 20 kpl in highway and 18 kpl in city which is economicay for single person also.
Ride Quality & Handling This car not for sporty driving.
Final Words Best car in this segment than other car.
Areas of improvement Noise from dash board must to reqqire to improve.

Exterior The exteriors are lovely and the overal looks add to the large size of the car. The ORVMs could have been a little bigger though.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors feel plush and as though you are sitting in a niche car worth 20 lakhs. the leather upholstery, the armrest and lot of cubbyholes add to the comfort. A rear sun screen prevents your neck from burning on hot days, and the auto AC does really well. A sunglass holder is also provided. And the entertainment system is very nice. Space is ample on both rows. With the drivers seat pushed fully back, and a 6 foot 1 inch person like me at the rear, I still have loads of leg space. Tou have to see it to believe it. The reading lamps brighten the car very well.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine struggles to pick up power whe in traffic jams and normal city traffic. But RPM above 2000, the turbo's punch gives the car a very zesty feel and a good speed. The gearbox, despite a diesel engine, is as smooth as never before. Fuel economy gives me a staggering 24 kmpl on the highway and 19 - 20 on city roads !!! The gearshifts need less effort to switch which is an added advantage due to the cars size.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality of the car is outstanding. There is absolute silence inside the cabin, even with a diesel motor. Handling is the best. Even at speeds of about 120 - 140, the car feels safe and quiet, giving you a feel of confidence while driving. The suspension is soft as that of a limo. Any pothole, and you need not worry about a thud, speed bumps and indian roads are never a scare, thanks to my Ciaz. Braking is also the best. With the prompt ABS.
