Exterior I've added a few accessories and it looks great now. else backside view should be improved.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious and comfortable, hardly feel the jerks.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is no bad considering its 1L engine, i've not tried on manual, but on Auto gear sometimes it takes time to speed up especially while overtaking. But this hardly matters. Gearbox acts auto and we hardly feel the gear change. No clutch will give freedom for your left leg.
Fuel economy is at my expectations. On Auto gear it gives 15km/ltr in Bangalore traffic with 50% A/C usage. On highway it gives 20-24 with AC. The car is still 3months old. On manual gear never tried.
Ride Quality & Handling I hardly felt the jerks at even 140kmph. Handling is very user friendly, not felt any issues.
Final Words After riding about 3000kms on this car, i would say go for it if you need an Auto gear and if you mostly use it in hectic metro traffics.
Areas of improvement Back looks and harder body to make it more safer.

I have been driving the car for past one month now, to and fro - office.
Exterior
Exterior is good, I like the front looks of the car, nothing to brag about nothing to dislike either. Said that no harm in Maruthi making better looking small cars either.
Alloy wheels should have been included in their top end model.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior are ok. One Major thing that is missing in an auto drive car is hand rest. Left hand is idle ........demands a hand rest. You can always do some nitpicking like seats could be made more comfortable esp in top end model ( which is what I have), they are giving you single key with controls. ABS comes only in optional model which is not available at any vendor ( they push you to buy zxi normal instead ). Also integrated audio system should have a color lcd screen rather than old days single color LEDs.
Head rests are integrated which can be a nuisence for some people, although I dont mind them for a short drive.
Love the integraded controls on steering , Audio system has bluetooth, USB, recognizes iPod, iPhone without any issues. Lots of space to keep your gear .. purse/phone, bottles so thats a plus.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Its been hardly a month and I have been driving in city with good traffic. In these conditions its giving avg of 13 which is way less than what company claims. Gear shift is not as smooth as in a proper auto shift car, AMT is ok though does it works well. Smooth start smooth stop. It does tend to ask for power while trying to speed up quickly, pushing down the pedal a lil hard does the trick. Said that, its a laid back car... I enjoy driving it and I am in a calm/patient mood driving it ( definately good for health).
Petrol engine is really good , very silent no complaints about it.
Final Words
The car is worth the money only if you are buying an AMT version, very lovely experience driving Auto Gear, its a small car so dont have to worry about parking or cutting it through small gaps.

Final Words I recently bout this car and drove around 500 km till date. Driving this automatic. Car is very easy. Really -ABCD- AnyBody Can Drive. 😊 A new driver can enjoy the driving in traffic as well. Very very easy to drive, you will not get tired. This car has advantage in driving in City, Market area and traffic. Overall - I am very happy with this car.
Areas of improvement Milage (Fuel Economy ) is not as promised by Maruti Suzuki. It is just OK. If you are driving in traffic areas with AC (ON) you will get 11-12 KMPL averaage milage. High ways it will give you 15-16 kmpl.

Final Words Surprised by Maruti's stingy strategy of giving just One Remote Key and expecting us to Pay for Second Key
Areas of improvement Maruti must realise that its cars are not branded for just middle class and below middle class people. We buy it because it fits our requirements of small, easy to maintain & drive (especially by our women folk).
For ZXi AMT : just like ZXi Manual
1) Second Remote Key as with other models and all brands. Surprised Maruti is cheating people by asking extra money for the second set. Why don't they provide it ?
2) They should make Seat Height Adjustment Optional, those who are willing to pay extra also are not getting this facility. Because its absoulute necessity as its mostly driven by Women and most of them are short in height.
3) ABS: Same as above, those who are willing to pay extra also are not getting this facility.
4) Second Air Bag: Same as above, those who are willing to pay extra also are not getting this facility.

The exterior could have been a bit more robust in terms of looks. Antenna could have been shorter
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The height of the seat, dual airbag etc.. should be a common thing as a feature for both AMT and Manual versions. The AMT lacks them beside some other cosmetic changes.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Many people are complaining about the AMT version not being very smotth during an automated shift. I would say that gets noticed because your mind is not engaged in pressing the clutch or changing the gear manually. This small lag is acceptable. The manual sports mode with the + and - is really good when you want to feel the adrenaline.

Fifth day after I bought the car, all of a sudden the car started making rattling noise from the gear box which is constant and can be heard loud and clear in the manual as well as drive mode, Reverse mode. Service center has no expertise as they have never heard of it. They took help from Maruti to figure out the issue is with the gear box. Part was ordered and was received in 7 days. It was connected and here it goes down again due to some software error. Again no expertise in AMT, service team relied on AMT experts in New Delhi. 3-4 days went and no one was able to figure what can be done to fix the error. Then I told the service center to take the test drive celerio AMT and replace parts with my car in a round robin fashion to identify the faulty part(s). So, they now say that they have identified the faulty part and has ordered another part for the software problem from Maruti and that will take another 7 days. Hoping that it gets fixed in another 5 days. A 5 day old car in service center for more that 14 days
Ride Quality & Handling
It is really good. With 5 people in the car, the bottom of the car do not touch some high bumpers on the road. I have seen some Dzires to touch the bumps with even 3 people in the rear seat and just the driver

As a car, I always wanted someone in India to come with this concept. I have desierd to own this car since its launch and when I bought it, this is what I am going through
Areas of improvement
Service - Improve working knowledge among Maruti technicians and troubleshooting steps of the AMT version
Car - If AMT was targeted to NRIs and Female drivers then it should have features on the AMT such as multiple airbags, Allow wheel etc.
Spacious, implementation of AMT (Good Concept), interior finishing, look and feelCould have been a bit robust from outside

Exterior Looks good but better with chrome plates. Some good genuine parts are availabe in the dealerships for modification of the exterior.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is very good. Kneeroom and headroom is excellent for drivers with height. 5.8 feet, dash looks good but sometimes feels like cheap plastics due to rattle sounds. Most imp thing the bluetooth music system.. very useful
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Around 22kmpl on highways at 80-95kmph and 14-16kmpl in city with ac on both times.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good but had to turn up the volume to minimise the rattling sounds of the interior and thats when mild rattling again kicks in fron the door panels near the speaker when a song with heavy low ends are played.
Feels punchy in cities, but whenever on the highways and trying to overtake sometimes amt lags the instant punch i am used to in cities.
Handling is very good upto 100kmph. after that vibrations are felt after crossing that. That wont affect cause now a days highways have a speedlimit of 80kmph (or75 not sure) in my state
Final Words Best car for a begineer and people with a tight budget but doesnt seem to fail as a companion for a long time
Areas of improvement Interioir plastics can b improved, abs and two airbags should be mandatory above vxi or vdi models, headlights should be improved with better reflectiors or bulbs. stock lights are not sufficient on the highways during night. Steering and shocks are all good but an upgrade will make them better.
Higher ground clearance was expected in x variant.. this is where kwid wins with 180mm clearance.
I know the engine is the long tested k series engine but a higher cc or retuning the same 1l engine for more power and torque would be better and at last an excellent drl will make the day.
