Exterior

 Over all good looking car completely differs from the design of traditional Maruti cars which makes it special. This makes it feel its a better and refined product from Maruti. The vehicle may make a good buzz in this segment in the near future. Good thinking Maruti.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Great dual tone interiors !! making the car to feel bigger due to use of dual colour in the plastics. Car though is not a tall boy has a good height which makes it spacious and as compared to Wagon R. It has more width of nearly about 200mm which makes seating of three persons in the rear seat comfortable and easy. Great comfort by car at this price tag. The suspensions being not too steef and not too sensitive are relief giving.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Good pickup and best fuel economy I dont't think there would be any another car out there giving a fuel economy as Celerio. Car speeds up till 100kmph in 15 seconds although this parameter is only accountable to top end cars but Celerio at this price tag and specs is quite impressive. As the car is new the gearbox is little stiff. Expecting it would get smoother on more use.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Very good ride quality the car is stable at high speeds on highways and is not fearsome as Wagon R. (Although Wagon R is only for city come and go ) Not being a tall boy as Wagon R the Celerio has its centre of gravity at a lower height from the ground which makes it a safer car at high speeds. Great stearing wheel.

Final Words

 Best car and most probably would be the next super selling car by maruti. True value for money. Pride to own a brand new model of car.

Areas of improvement  

 Some set of accessories should come built in the car's Vxi Model and Zxi varient to be in Automatic. Waiting period for Automatic varient. Interior plastic quality.

Exterior Looks fine specially from front.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Plastic quality is very average,glove box,gear box,intrument cluster,bottle holder looks very conventional n boring,shock absorbers flat n bouncy but good in space n sitting position for commuting.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I will say just good,power in 2nd n 3rd gear not inpressive,i like 1s, 4th n 5th. reverce gear not soft n quick.better fuel average compare to others in this segment,very good on high ways.

Ride Quality & Handling I like the handling n also ride quality,also good balance on high speeds.

Final Words Almost value for money.

Areas of improvement interiors Quality of plastic,gear box,shock absorbers,abcense of fogg lamps,tacho meter, over all i would say its not a bad deal under five lakhs segment but u can get many more features along with audio system in grand i10 around five lakhs.the thing force me to go with celerio is ground clearance n fuel average over all.

Dear All,

I am driving Celerio VXi (o) MT for last 1 year now, on comfort and looks I find this car to be OK boot space is quite decent.However, my biggest concern is mileage before doing 10000KM(that is when you get your 3rd service done and expect the mileage to improve) my car was doing around 11-12 KM/L.I was under impression that same would improve post 3rd service, sorry to say this but I am dejected, my car is doing only 13 KM/L now sometimes I also face the problem of pick-up, seriously! I don't even know how to deal with this now.

overall I am not happy with this car

P.S> I drive it in the city and use it for my daily office commute, and follow all the tips on saving fuel.

was wondering if anyone else has got the same situation, would be waiting for the response eagerly.

 better mileage with more than 19 in city traffic and its acceleration is very good.It also has a good engine and did not trouble me though I had a ride of more than 900 km

 its smooth and I had a excellent driving experience its tyres are good and its very good driving in traffic .The car is very smooth and its would be my pleasure to ride it. Great in all sense being it clutch and gear free driving or good visibility or its central console Pickup

 I think it would be more better if it is given with a spoiler and Fog lamps

-- Exterior is good looking (from the front side), back side looks can be improved. There are lots of gaps in the body around the edges where dust gets collected easily.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 -- Interior is spacious and good enough for a family of 5 people. AC cooling is quick and the engine noise is very much less compared to previous cars.

 -- When comparing the Price-to-Features value, Celerio has a downside. For the VXI trim, it is hard to believe the following are not added to the car -> no fog lamps, no remote locking (central locking with keys are there), no body colored ORVM or handles (!), no audio system.

 -- These all accessories add up to the bill and comes to a hefty sum overall. I have got the car after the price hike (Jan 2015 model) and it is dissappointing that MSL does not offer many accessories with the car. I strongly feel that fog lamps and remote locking should be included in the VXI cut in the current price. At least the body cover !!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 -- Engine is peppy and very responsive. Gearbox is smooth and gives good feedback when reducing the gears. While you try to switch to a lower gear at faster speeds, the gear stick gives a "stop-doing-that" feedback so that damages can be avoided. As I am still a learner, this helps a lot actually.

 -- Ride quality is pretty good, handling is easy.

 -- I am happy with the car itself. Good looks, nice driving control, great space and overall VFM.

 -- Had peculiarly "unsettling" experience with the MSL sales/dealer. First, they wanted to sway away customers to WagonR than Celerio (May be WagonR's are not selling enough) even if you are not interested. Second, lots of promises made during test drive/booking time which did not materialize while paying the final settlement - citing certain rules. These rules were known to them at the time of promises. It was awkward, but went ahead with the purchase as I had finalized the car already.

Areas of improvement  

 -- Rear design can be improved for sure.

 -- Interiors still feel a bit cheap compared to competitions.

 -- Few more accessories can be provided with the car in the VXI trim. For the money taken from  the customer starting Jan 2015, fog lamps and remote locking should be provided with the model itself at the same cost.

Exterior gives you very stylish look. new of its kind, back view could have been little bit more good. Colors available are also very good, i own red but personally i like white more, Although all colors are good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Space and comfort are too good. Feature are sufficient for a family. 3 persons can easily seat in the back, lots of leg room. Interior feels good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 After first servicing my celerio is giving 17km/l with Ac on. It rides very smooth, soft gear shifting. gear position also very good.  I have Non Amt because i don't commute daily but if you have to commute daily in heavy traffic go for AMT.

Good ride in the city with traffic, easy handling, smooth turning.

 A good family car with nice mileage, space, looks. Perfect for city driving and not so bad for highways either. Buy this car if you are a family person.

 Body strength looks little low could have been improved. Rear view of the car could have been better.

I bought it in 2018 and i can consider it value for money. Earlier I was having maruti 800, I drove it for about 10 years so the driving experience of celerio was excellent. Good pick up and power It has a bulky look and is far better than wagon r I liked the performance either it is driving or features Expenses are similar to my old car maruti 800 So actually easy to maintain, best in mileage, very spacious etc. Only few shortcomings like when the AC is on than it loosens its pick up potential

I have been using celerio vxi model for the past 3 years I didn't have any issues,just changed tyres, suspension is good performance in petrol is also good. Milage no words best in class. Comfort for long drive,boot space is also good... Overall my rating to celerio is 4.7/5

I am writing this review with my overall experience since I purchased my new celerio Vxi in Nov 2014

Exterior Impressive design, clear headlamp and tail light looks good. The wide front windshield and large doors windows gives a clear view.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good amount of leg room in front as well as back seat, very comfortable for average height person. The center light dimmer looks very elegant, once you get out and lock the car the dimmer goes down slowly. A bottle holder in all 4 doors is great. Enough space to keep your mobile, keys, wallet at the front.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very smooth engine makes my drive very plesurable, gear shift is also good, gives me around +20kmpl on highways and 15-18 in city. What else do you want with a/c on!! 

Ride Quality & Handling With 14'in tyre the ride feels less bumpy on potholes. Also has a good suspension which makes the ride smooth.

Final Words Purchased my new car in 2014, since last 2 years there have not been a single penny I have spend on unwanted repairs & fixtures. This car is completely maintainence free, maruti brand at its best. And the spare parts or accessories are affordable. I am happy for my decision. I suggest go for celurian blue colour that looks cool.
